OPEN MARRIAGES

OPEN MARRIAGES
The Part 46

Today is the last day before that weekend. Dinda remembers her promise with Mita. Mita will go to her house again.

Dinda wants to spend time with her old best friend before Mita returns to Australia next week.

At lunch hour. Dinda kept working, so that the work would be done quickly.

Several times Dinda glanced at her boss's room. Aman, there's no sign the boss is looking for him.

After feeling his work was done, Dinda was ready to go home. He then took the phone from his bag. It was like the day before.

Dinda did not turn on her phone since last night.

When the phone screen is on, Dinda checks the incoming notification.

Nothing interesting.

Dinda put that thing back in her bag. He walked towards the secretary desk of his superior.

"I'll go back first! Just in case the Boss is necessary, please call my number huh?!" dinda said to the secretary of the woman sitting there.

Dinda walked out of the office, to her car in the basement.

When Dinda started the car, her phone rang.

Laura called. Fitting her today again? hmmm, Dinda is still not in the mood to see the wedding dress.

"Hello!" said Dinda

"Hello! Are you still working?" ask Laura

"No, just wanted to go home. Why?"

"Can I meet you?" laura said from across.

Linda thought for a moment.

"Come to my house. We gather together," said Dinda

"Who's the guy?"

"Sama Mita, he said he wanted to go home later" said Dinda

"Ok, just let me slide down there!" said Laura.

The call was interrupted.

"It's a good thing it's not a shirt test anymore" Dinda said to herself, turning on her car.

Dinda arranged her shopping on the front porch table of her house. He had bought a snack at a retail store, while on his way home.

The sound of the car stopped in front of his house, making Dinda turn towards the road.

Billy was seen getting out of the car.

Dinda ignored Billy's arrival. He is busy with what he does.

Billy walked up to Dinda.

"How are you?" billy asked as he stood on the terrace.

"Good!" dinda answered without looking at Billy.

"What is this event? Can I sit there?" ask Billy again.

Dinda looked at Billy. Something suspect.

"Sit down. Mita will be here, and there will be my friend Laura. If you want to join a group of women," said Dinda.

The man then stepped towards the swing, then sat there.

Dinda is usually annoyed by Billy around her. But today, Billy is a little different. Tumben did not fight, he spoke calmly to Dinda.

"We're here?" ask Billy

"Yes! He said only until next week, he will return to Australia again," replied Dinda who then sat in the chair.

"Then I stay here, I want to meet him. Can you?" Billy really isn't like the last few weeks. Billy seemed to be back to him when they were in High School.

"Hmmm... Did something happen yesterday?" Linda asked back.

"Why indeed?" this time Billy was confused by Dinda's question.

"It's okay." replied Dinda.

Billy then stood up from where he was sitting, then said

"For a while...!"

Billy went to his car. He opened the trunk, there was something he took. When he came back, he brought a few cans of beer.

Dinda glares.

"What did you bring that here for?" ask Dinda wonder

"Mita likes this. I bought it for me later, but since you said there was Mita, it's okay to drink with her!" billy said

Dinda did not protest. No matter what, no longer a child, Dinda thought.

Before long Laura's car arrived, followed by Mita who was riding a motorcycle with her bule boyfriend.

Laura waited for Mita to get off the bike, then after Mita's boyfriend left, then they both walked into the yard of Dinda's house.

Mita who saw Billy, immediately ran and hugged the man. They hugged, without caring for the two pairs of eyes of the girl who saw it.

Laura sat down beside Dinda. He brought his face closer to Dinda's ear.

"Who is that?" laura asked whispering

"Billy, we're all high school friends" Dinda replied.

Mita took her hug off Billy. The two of them sat next to each other on the swing.

"This is Laura, my friend!" dinda said when she saw Billy staring at Laura, who was beside Dinda.

"Oh.." replied Billy briefly

Billy and Mita then whispered. They both seem to be busy themselves.

Laura and Dinda looked at. As if understanding something, Dinda then stood up and walked into the house followed by Laura from behind.

"Are they dating?" asked Laura who was curious.

"I know they used to be just friends. Well, don't know now. 'I haven't seen the two of them in a long time?!" answer Dinda.

Dinda took the ice water from the refrigerator. He poured it into a glass on the table.

"You?" ask Dinda

Laura nodded.

"Billy is so handsome!" chirps Laura. The girl smiled to herself.

"Hmmm... A crush?" ask Dinda lightly.

Laura laughs.

"Is she still single?" ask Laura

"Had married. But it's like Mita, open marriage." said Dinda.

"Your old friends are unique?!" chirp Laura again

"Not unique, but strange! I still don't understand that kind of lifestyle" Dinda said, chugging the water in her hand.

"You still reject that concept?" ask Laura.

"He'eh... But because they are my friends, I try to understand his will" replied Dinda

"Hm... That's what I want to talk to you about" Laura said. The girl's face looked sluggish.

"You want to marry that concept? It's okay! I'm your friend... I won't judge you bad. Your choice... But what does Eko want?" ask Dinda

"I haven't thought of a way to talk to her yet." Laura said.

"Then the problem is just that. You see for yourself, Mita and Billy chose to get married like that. I assume that might be best for them.

Likewise with you, if you choose the same as Mita or Billy, it doesn't matter to me either. I will continue to support you" Dinda said solemnly.

Laura hugged Dinda suddenly, until the glass in Dinda's hand almost fell off.

"How do you think I can talk to Eko?" laura asked as she let go of her embrace from Dinda.

"This is it! We'll talk to Mita and Billy, and then we'll figure out how they'll be able to be together with their husbands and wives. Ok?" said Dinda

"OK!" laura was excited.

They join Mita and Billy on the front porch.

Mita and Billy had already started drinking the beer Billy had brought with them, when Laura and Dinda returned to the front porch.

For a long time they were there, each busy themselves. Cans after cans of beer, Mita and Billy drink. Laura and Dinda drink only soda.

Dinda felt a bit upset because she could not tell a free story with Mita. There was also a hint of jealousy in his heart, seeing Mita and Billy seem more familiar than they used to be in High School. Dinda put on a sour face.

Billy saw the look on Dinda's face that looked displeased. Billy stands up and invites Dinda into the house for a while, arguing that she wants to go to the bathroom.

"What's wrong? you mad?" billy asked Dinda when they were in the middle.

"Not really... I just want to talk to Mita... But I think you two are busy" said Dinda.

Billy looked at Dinda's face. For a long time, the man did not turn away from it.

Dinda so groggy stared at for a long time like that, he then pushed Billy who was very close to him.

"Said to go to the bathroom. Go already there!" said Dinda

Billy pulls Dinda into his room. Then shut the door to Dinda's room.

"I want to kiss you! I'm kangen...!" billy said softly.

Dinda stared at Billy.

Billy then brought his face closer, then kissed Dinda's lips slowly.

Dinda did not return the kiss.

Billy stopped. He looked at Dinda closely. He kissed Dinda's lips again. He put his hand on Dinda's chest.

Billy stopped the kiss. He then walked out of Dinda's room.

Billy sat back on the swing. Billy's face was expressionless.

Shortly after, Dinda came out and sat in the chair. Dinda saw Laura who was now cool in telling Mita.
