Billy and Alex were full. The harshness of the caffeine content of the coffee they drink, unable to keep their eyes open. Both men were very tired.
Alex is lying in a chair. Likewise Billy who is no longer able to hold back his sleepiness, when he saw Alex was asleep. Billy was lying on the chair, opposite Alex.
They slept there until morning. They were completely unaware of the arrival of the nurse, who was examining Dinda.
Alex woke up first, when the nurse accidentally nudged his hand, which dangled over his head towards the door.
Alex quickly stood up, then followed the nurse. He asked about Dinda's condition.
"If the doctor has come to check, then we hear what is the doctor's order. I was just checking the infusion" said the nurse, who then walked away from Alex.
When Alex returns, Billy wakes up.
"Where are you Lex?" ask Billy. He's still yawning a few times.
"So the nurse checked on Dinda. But, he said wait for the doctor, if you want to know the condition of Dinda.." said Alex, who then peeked at Dinda from the door glass.
"Dinda doesn't seem to have reacted yet. From last night my feelings he still looked so-so.." chirped Alex, who was still anxious.
Billy stood up and went to the door. He peeked into the room. True said Alex, Dinda like no move yet. Billy was worried.
"I'm gonna have a coffee. You want me to buy it?" ask Alex
"Let me go shopping. All I want to straighten my legs, last night had a few times my feet were cramped," said Billy. He walks away, leaving Alex to look after Dinda.
When Billy walked in the corridor close to Dinda's room, he could see that there were some people wearing long white coats, standing in front of Dinda's room, talking to Alex.
Billy hastened his pace. He just passed the doctor and the nurse, he didn't have time to hear what they were talking about with Alex.
"Why?" ask Billy.
"Say Dinda's vital condition has improved, even though Dinda has not regained consciousness" said Alex.
"Later Dinda can be moved. The nurse was still preparing the room for Dinda...
Let's just wait!" join Alex, who then takes a cup of coffee out of Billy's hand, and sits back down.
Billy sat there.
Several times they both sipped coffee in each other's hands, without saying anything, until three nurses came, into the isolation room.
Alex and Billy stand looking through the glass.
The nurses were busy tidying up the medical equipment used by Dinda. Then they pushed Dinda's bed out of the room.
Alex and Billy follow where Dinda's bed is taken.
Dinda was taken to an inpatient room.
The nurses were then busy again arranging the medical devices, before they finally got out of it.
"Please do not force the patient to wake up! The doctor's message was, the patient still needs a lot of rest for recovery...
So, I injected the drugs that the doctor gave me, to keep him asleep," said one of the nurses, explaining what he was doing in Dinda's infusion.
The three of them were left in the room.
Alex sat in the chair to the left of Dinda, while Billy took the chair, then sat on his right side of Dinda.
As Billy holds Dinda's hand, he realizes that there is no ring in Dinda's hand.
And sure enough, said one of the officers there patient's belongings later delivered there, because the possibility is still in the storage room.
Billy waited for the officer to bring the things Dinda was wearing. Long-sleeved sweatshirt, sports pants, a sheet of blanket, and a pair of earrings.
But, the ring given by Billy and Rudi is not there.
Billy makes sure that nothing else is left behind, but the officer insists that's all.
Billy was astonished.
But, Billy is unlikely to accuse the hospital clerk of stealing it. He had to wait until Dinda realized, only then could she know where those things were.
Billy then returned to Dinda's room.
"Where were you?" ask Alex.
"I went to check on Dinda's stuff" Billy put the stuff in a small cupboard near Dinda's bed.
"When you helped Dinda, did you see the ring she was wearing?" ask Billy.
Alex holds Dinda's hand, then looks at Dinda's hand, trying to remember what she saw.
"It doesn't seem to exist! All I know is there's a little necklace around Dinda's neck. But, breaking up time I pulled Dinda out of the car. I was looking but I didn't see you, I think you fell muddy" Alex said.
Continues, if not wrong Dinda wear small jewel earrings. That's it," Alex continued. She remembered the earrings in Dinda's ear glittering, as they were exposed to the light of the fire, as she kissed Dinda's lips that night.
"If his hands are not too attentive. Because what I noticed was the part of Dinda's body that had her wound," Alex continued.
"Why indeed?" Alex asks, who is astonished by Billy, who is busy with Dinda's jewelry
"No... There was a ring that Rudi and I gave to Dinda. Usually he always wears those two rings, "Billie seems confused, but Alex doesn't really care.
Billy sat down next to Dinda. His phone shook as he just sat down. He then stood up again to pull the thing out of his pants pocket.
Incoming call from Rudi. Billy walked away from Dinda's bed.
Rudi and Laura are back in the hospital.
Rudi was confused because Dinda was not in her room last night. So he called Billy, found out where Dinda was being moved.
Laura and Rudi enter Dinda's room together. The two of them stared at Dinda's hands, both in Alex's and Billy's hands.
Billy and Alex turn their heads when they see Rudi and Laura coming, but they ignore them.
Billy looked at Laura who was smiling. But he came back to see Dinda.
Laura sat on the sofa followed by Rudi.
"Luckily, Dinda has three heroes like you.." Laura said.
Rudi looked at Dinda, who had no reaction at all.
"They're both heroes, not me... I'm just complicating Dinda's situation. He almost died because of my stupidity" Rudi whispered. It appeared on the face of the man who was still regretting his carelessness.
Laura rubbed Rudi's back, upon hearing the man's low self-assertion.
"Have...! Don't think too much... What happened already. Now, just think about what the future will be like," whispered Laura trying to calm Rudi.
