The Part 78
Dinda felt guilty, so curious about Laura's situation.
"So what really happened to you? Why is it that since you left Billy's villa you can't be reached?" ask Dinda.
"My HP was confiscated by Papa... I'm not allowed to leave the house... Eko cancelled our wedding... What again?! Yes, I ran away from home yesterday... So in the meantime, I'm hitching a ride in your house." Laura chirped lightly.
"Can you be that calm?" dinda asked, shaking her head.
"I don't want to think too much about what happened. I don't want to feel sorry for long" Laura said.
"Everything's happened, what are you going to do? Let it...! It was also my own fault" continued Laura, whose face now looked lethargic.
"You don't have to think too much about it, we're still alive. That means we can still do better than we already have." Laura then pinched Dinda's cheek.
"Look easy...! I'm okay! It still hurts you... Tuh, the legs are still all bandaged, can not walk!" laura said, smiling.
Dinda opened her arms wide and then signaled with her fingers, for Laura to hug her.
They both hugged. Tears trickled down their cheeks, but they hid them from each other.
They covered her cries, with a small laugh.
"Eh! Your Alex hero is a handsome bouncy!" chirp Laura, with a big smile.
Dinda raised her eyes, smilingly looking at the mischievous smiling Laura.
"You're! Don't tell me you're interested in him?!" dinda.
"Yesame...!" laura said, acting anxious.
Dinda laughs. In Dinda's heart she knew Alex was a good man.
Just because the beginning of his introduction was not fitting, until Dinda had thought Alex was a strange person.
"As far as you are...! Alex is good too!" dinda said, holding Laura's hand.
Billy then appeared in the room. He had two cups of coffee, and a plastic bag filled with his groceries.
"It! I bought it haphazardly. I don't know what you like" Billy said to Laura, handing over a cup of coffee, and the bag.
Billy also put one more bag of groceries, on a small table beside Dinda's bed.
"That's your favorite soup, if you're hungry" Billy told Dinda.
Dinda nodded. The fragrant aroma of soup came out of the grocery bag, making Dinda feel hungry. He took the bag and took out a small bowl of soup.
"You're bribed?" ask Billy to Dinda.
Dinda shook her head
"No need...! It's okay! I can eat by myself...!" sahut Dinda's.
Laura took out a bag of chips, then started eating them.
Dinda bribed her food into her mouth, then took a little crisps from Laura's hand.
"Billy...! I was thinking about Mita." said Dinda.
Billy looked at Dinda without saying anything.
"What about Dovi? Are you still in touch with him?" ask Dinda.
"It's been over the last two years that I've never been in contact with him. The old Dovi number is no longer active...
Mita said, Dovi moved where it was, with his girlfriend... I forgot!" said Billy, who seemed to have just realized the strangeness of Dovi, after Dinda asked about him.
"I just met Mita a lot. Moreover, I often walk with Alex, so I don't really care about Dovi anymore," said Billy.
"Why are you asking about Dovi?" asked Billy in wonder.
"No... Laura said, Mita tried to seduce you. That's why I think about Dovi. Because as far as I know, Mita loves Dovi," said Dinda as she returned to bribe her mouth soup.
Billy looked at Laura who was chewing chips.
Laura raised her eyebrows.
"Why?" asked Laura, who felt uncomfortable being stared at by Billy like that.
"Have you seen Mita in contact with Dovi?" billy asks, who feels there may be something wrong with Dovi, who suddenly disappears from Billy.
Billy sees Dinda and Laura alternating. But both of them just shook their heads.
"Mita didn't hang out with us too long. How do you know that when we don't see, Dovi contacts him, or maybe vice versa!" chirps Dinda.
"When Mita came to see me, it was the day after Dinda disappeared. He said he had just come from Australia that morning" Billy said. He began to think, even if he saw the situation, Mita was still the one he suspected the most.
"You mean, what's the chance that Dovi has anything to do with all this?" dinda asked "But what about Laura's tape?"
"That's me confused too. Is Mita lying about her arrival or what?!" billy said, who was starting to feel dizzy.
"Well that's it...! For Laura's incident, I think it's most likely that Laura's boyfriend did it, because there's no way Mita could have recorded the incident...
The accident that happened to me, as far as I know, Mita is out of the country. It makes me feel weird, it's just the bike" said Dinda.
"But a bike like that's not just Mita. Many times I have thought about all this, but I still do not understand. I still can't believe that Mita did all this" Dinda said.
Billy and Laura who listened to Dinda's words, felt that Dinda's words had a point.
They could not immediately rush to accuse Mita.
Dinda still ate her soup, while Laura had stopped eating her chips. Billy was busy rethinking, what Dinda said.
Suddenly Billy's phone shook. In a hurry he took the thing out of his pants pocket.
Mita called him.
Billy stuck one finger to his lips, signaling Laura and Dinda not to make a sound.
"Hello!" billy said, as he greeted his phone.
"Hello! I'd like to meet... I'm sorry for my behavior yesterday" said Mita from across the street, sounding a tone of regret in her voice.
"Oh... I also want to apologize for being rude to you... Where do you want to meet?" uajr Billy pretending.
"In your villa! I'm almost there. Where are you now?"ask Mita.
"I'm at Rudi's. We haven't found Dinda yet," back Billy pretended.
"I'll wait at the villa then" said Mita, then disconnected her call.
Billy sees Laura and Dinda alternating.
"We sound like we don't care about Dinda" said Billy, as if convincing that Mita was the mastermind.
"I'm back at the villa first! I want to make sure what Mita thinks" said Billy, who then kissed Dinda on the forehead.
"Please take care of Dinda, yes!" billy said as he looked at Laura. "If there's anything, let me know!"
Billy then walked out of it in a hurry.
After arriving at the parking lot Billy confused. He just remembered his car at Dinda's. Don't want to, Billy took a taxi to go to Dinda's house.
After taking his car, Billy drove to his villa.
