In the hospital room, Dinda was busy with her cell phone. He was lazy to talk to whoever was there. His fingers and Dinda's eyes were focused on the screen.
Alex takes a seat on the sofa. While Rudi who felt indifferent, then invited Laura to chat with him outside the room.
"You want to go to the cafeteria downstairs?" ask Laura.
Laura glanced at the unmoved Dinda. It was as if the people who were there, were invisible to him.
Laura nodded. Actually Laura still feels tired because she just returned from a walk in the park earlier. But, rather than being dumb there, he accepted Rudi.
"It's just my feeling... But since Billy left that day, Dinda seems to be taking less and less of a care for us" said Rudi, as she and Laura sat in the hospital cafeteria.
"More with me," Rudi's face looked sad.
"So I talked to Dinda. He said you didn't want to talk either, so he didn't want to force you to talk to him" said Laura, who then sipped her drink, which the cafeteria waiter had just delivered.
Rudi did not answer. It was true what Laura said, but Rudi still continued to feel guilty that made him anxious, when going to talk to Dinda.
"I'm not here tomorrow... The plan is to find a new job" Laura continued.
"Why?" ask Rudi.
"You forgot?! I'm not okay with papa!" said Laura ketus.
"Oh... Pardon me! I mean, you don't have to rush to find a job. You can rest first. Especially with all the events that you experienced," said Rudi.
"No! Maybe I can stay at Dinda's. But, there's no way I'm hoping that Dinda will take away all my needs" Laura said, with a sad face.
He did not have the heart if Dinda had to bother with him. Dinda is also sick.
"It's up to you then... You do what you think is fine," said Rudi, understanding Laura's feelings of unwillingness to burden Dinda.
"So Alex talked to Dinda about her broken good name in Australia. I don't get it... But, when Alex says it has something to do with Mita and Billy, Dinda gets riled up" Laura says.
"That seems to be why, Dinda was acting that way. Because since the conversation with Alex was at the park, until we left, Dinda didn't want to talk anymore. Alex also looks upset," Laura continued.
"Do you know what Alex is talking about?" asked Laura curiously.
"Hmmm... When Alex was in Australia, he was a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of a woman there. But, I just know that... It's just that I consider the issue, because I don't know the truth, '" said Rudi, then leaned his back against the back of the chair.
"I never asked Alex, because Alex never nudged or told me about it either. If Dinda reacts with Alex's words, it means Alex has told the chronology of the incident with Alex's version of Dinda," continued Rudi.
"If I heard their conversation earlier, Alex considered Mita the perpetrator of the incident in Australia. Because Mita is obsessed with Billy... Alex does not accept that Mita is only considered crazy by Dinda, and then does not account for her actions," said Laura.
"Mita?" Rudi put on a look of wonder.
"Yes! Alex said so," said Laura.
Rudi fell silent. He doesn't know what else to say. What is clear, Dinda means to believe, if Alex does not do what he is accused of.
"Just try talking to Dinda... He said he hated it when you didn't want to talk, like you used to with him," Laura said, sipping her drink again.
She looked at Laura.
"I don't feel like I can talk to Dinda as usual. Especially when I see the condition of his legs are still like that, I am overcome with guilt," said Rudi.
"Dinda doesn't seem to blame you! Never mind you... Mita who had tried to kill him alone, Dinda still felt unbearable if Mita should be imprisoned," said Laura, reassuring Rudi
Rudi then drank the drink. In one drink the contents of the glass he immediately spent.
"You still want to be here or something?" asked Rudi, who was already standing from his chair.
"I want to go back to Dinda's room for a while, I'll be home for the afternoon." Laura stood up too.
The two of them together, walk back to Dinda's room.
Dinda left alone there, still like when they left her. His eyes and fingers were focused on his phone screen.
Laura shook her head. Dinda has changed. But Laura still doesn't know what exactly makes Dinda so.
"Where's Alex?" ask Laura.
Dinda just shook her head.
Laura let out a long breath that felt heavy. He sat next to Dinda's bed.
"Dina... Dinda!" lura called out to Dinda.
"Eh! Ya? Why?" Linda asked back.
"Why are you? You didn't pay attention to us. Don't you like us being here?" asked Laura, who was upset.
"I'm tired! No more arguing! What do you want?" said Dinda did not want to lose, spoke in a high tone.
Laura could not say anything more. Quickly, he picked up his bag from the table, then walked away from it.
Rudi held Laura's hand, intending to hold Laura back from leaving, and stayed there.
"Wait a minute!" said Rudi.
Laura turned to look at Rudi, then looked at Dinda who still looked at the screen of her phone, as if she did not care even though Laura left there.
Laura jerked Rudi's hand, she then continued walking through the door.
Rudi looked at Dinda, but she did not know what to say to the girl. Moreover, Dinda still acts indifferent with the presence of Rudi there.
Rudi then walked out following Laura.
"Laura! Laura! Wait for me!" Rudi yelled, half-running over to Laura, who had stopped walking, upon hearing Rudi's call.
"What happened to Dinda? Why is he acting like that? Does he think he's the only one with a problem?" laura, who is hysterical.
"No need to respond... I think Dinda again is not in the mood now," said Rudi to calm Laura.
"Come, I'll take you!" keep Rudi.
The two of them, then walked out of the hospital, leaving Dinda alone.
On the way, Rudi texts Alex a message. He asked where Alex was now. But long awaited Rudi, Alex did not return the message.
Rudi called Alex.
"Hello!" alex from across.
"Where are you?" ask Rudi.
"I'm at the workshop, why?" ask Alex.
"Dinda was alone in the hospital. I drove Laura back, ", said Rudi.
"Dinda didn't want me there. He told me to leave earlier" said Alex, then the call was interrupted.
Laura looked at Rudi, who kept her phone back in her pants pocket.
"Why?" asked Laura curiously.
"Dinda also kicked Alex out of there." replied Rudi. He refocused on the road.
They both fell silent, along the way back to Dinda's house.
