OPEN MARRIAGES
The Part 57
The three friends are with their partners, having fun on the lake. Some are there swimming, and some are just sunbathing on the dock.
Using a boat, Dinda and Mita enjoy the view on the lake.
"I'm curious about you and Billy." chirped Mita, when they were in the middle of the lake. He put the paddles they were wearing, on the boat.
"How are you with Rudi?" connect Mita
"I think I should forget about Rudi." said Dinda. His face showed sadness.
"May I know why?" ask Mita.
"Rudi forced me to marry her quickly" said Dinda.
"Keep, what's the problem? Don't you love Rudi?" ask Mita.
"I'm not getting married yet. Yes I love him, but I still want to pursue my career first. We had no contact for a few days, when he asked me to quickly marry him...
I kept talking to Billy. He suggested that I talk to Rudi what I wanted. So I talked to Rudi, but we could only be together for some time, then part ways...
Ever since I separated that day, I contacted Rudi. But until now he didn't reply to my message, just read it" Dinda said.
"As long as I'm with him, what he wants me to do. But for this one, he does not want to give up" continued Dinda.
"Can't pursue a career when you're married?" ask Mita
"My office has warned me that until an intern gets married before the internship ends, he will not recommend that person to be a partner" Dinda said.
"I've been struggling all this time, facing my workaholic boss. I don't want to fail just like that, when it's near the finish line," continued Dinda.
Mita nodded. Mita understood Dinda's intentions. But still confused by Rudi's response.
"Aren't you asking why she's in such a hurry to get married?" ask Mita
"Rudi does not want to talk" said Dinda ketus.
"Ah, stop! Maybe he's not my soul mate." he continued.
"Now you're with Billy?" ask Mita.
"I think maybe in the meantime, just like you were with your boyfriend. Now just for s*x. Next I don't know, what I know, the career that is my priority now," said Dinda.
"Yaa already then... Just relax! Who knows what it will be like" said Mita.
In her heart Mita is happy, because even though Dinda loves Rudi, but she loves her career more. It's more calming because if it's just a career, chances are Dinda can still achieve it, so it won't drive Dinda crazy.
While Billy is obsessed with Dinda, Mita does not know how. He only hopes that later Dinda will give his heart to Billy, or maybe later on the contrary, Billy can meet someone, who can remove Dinda from his life.
They both sit there relaxing.
From the edge of the pier, Laura waved at Mita and Dinda.
Mita looked at Dinda.
Dinda shrugged both of her shoulders.
They decided to go back to the dock. The two rowed the boat together.
When they reached the dock, Laura rode on the boat without warning. The boat became hollow. Shake left, almost drowning.
"Laluraya!" mita shouted along with Dinda.
Dinda immediately jumped up, up the dock. Dinda stroked elus chest, laughing.
The boat is small if you have three who go up there.
After Dinda jumped, the boat calmed down.
The three of them laughed out loud, laughing at their stupidity.
Laura waved her hand, then together Mita paddled to the middle of the lake.
Dinda sat on the edge of the dock swinging her feet in the water, watching the boat move away.
For some time, Dinda daydreamed there. She was unaware of Laura's boyfriend, who was engrossed in sunbathing bare-chested nearby.
Billy won't let it go much longer. He walks towards Dinda, leaving Mita's friend who is still talking to her.
As Billy approaches, he watches Dinda closely. Then he realized that Dinda was just daydreaming. Almost, Billy thought. He rubbed his face with one hand.
"Miss...!" call Billy in a soft voice.
Dinda turned.
"Huh? What's?" dinda.
Billy walked closer to Dinda. He sat down next to Dinda, then stuck his feet in the water.
"There's a crocodile!" billy said.
Dinda stopped swinging her legs. He looked at Billy.
"Yes! You're the culture!" said Dinda ketus.
Billy just laughed.
"You're the female crocodile!" billy said.
Dinda laughed too.
They both stared at the lake. The boat that Laura was riding with Mita, began to approach.
The two girls got off the boat. Just say hello to Billy and Dinda, then come to their respective boyfriends.
"It's hot, you know! Let's go in!" billy said.
Dinda saw Billy's white face, already turning red like a boiled crab.
"Come on!" dinda said while standing from there.
Billy stands. He held Dinda's hand and walked towards the trees.
They both saw the villakeeper walking up to them. I wanted to tell him lunch was ready.
Billy looked around. He gave his friend a code to go back inside.
Billy shifted the chair for Dinda to sit down. Before long, Mita and her boyfriend sat down.
Laura half-runs, appears alone there.
"I'm home first, yeah!" said Laura.
"Why?" ask Dinda.
"Bokap called! I'm waiting at home!" said Laura. The girl looked panicked.
Not waiting for her friends to speak again, Laura immediately ran to her room. He started to clean up his stuff.
Dinda walked up to Laura. She sees Laura busy putting her luggage in the bag, aided by her boyfriend.
"What's up?" ask Dinda
Dinda looked at his side. He saw Mita also standing at the door.
"don't know. But from the voice I heard, my father was angry again." Laura said.
"Udah yes! We go first!" connect Laura. He's done tidying up all his luggage.
Laura hugged Dinda with Mita alternately, then said goodbye to the others, who followed to the front of the room.
Dinda just made a gesture like calling Laura, then waved her hand as Laura's car passed away.
Mita with Dinda stare. No one can guess what happened.
They all went back inside and continued their lunch, with their heads still filled with questions.
Everyone was silent, no one was talking about Laura.
