OPEN MARRIAGES

OPEN MARRIAGES
Part 47's

Laura was occasionally seen nodding, as Mita spoke.

Dinda watched the behavior of her two friends. Here he felt like he was estranged. Because of him, they could meet.

All this because of that stupid marriage, Dinda thought.

Dinda pensively herself. He then looked at Billy, who was sitting daydreaming on the swing. Dinda moved to Billy's side seat.

Billy couldn't believe what he saw. Tumben once Dinda wants to get close to him.

"What's up?" ask Billy.

"I still don't understand what you're thinking." said Dinda.

"What do you mean?" ask Billy again to make sure.

"You want to get married but live it like someone who is just dating. Why not just go out? Why marry if it's just like that?" said Dinda.

Billy held Dinda's hand. The girl let him.

"I told you I got married just because of Papa's business deal." Billy said.

"Or are you talking about Mita ? You don't know what happened between him and Dovi?" ask Billy.

"I already know. The problem is, now Laura also wants to get married in your own way" said Dinda

"Do you disagree ?" ask Billy

"Yes...! But how else, I think he wants it right. Ah already! I'm sick of marriage!" said Dinda who then took off Billy's grip, in his hand.

Billy looked at Dinda. Billy realizes that something has happened to Dinda. He held Dinda's hand.

"Is there something going on between you and Rudi?" ask Billy.

Hearing Billy's question, Dinda looked back at the man. Dinda took off Billy's handrails violently.

"Don't lure me! I'm tired!" said Dinda

Billy leaned back, then started pushing the swing chair, until it started swinging slowly.

"It turns out that's why." said Billy.

"What do you know!" exclaim Dinda. Dinda's voice was loud enough to make Laura with Mita surprised and look at her.

Dinda was uncomfortable. He wants to distract them. Dinda held onto the swing pole for her chair to stop swinging.

"I'm going to the bathroom first!" said Dinda looking for reasons so that her friends do not take offense, when she was about to leave them there for a while.

He stood up, walked into the house. Dinda is fed up with talking about marriage.

She wants Dinda to be happy with her friends, not just to talk about it.

Dinda is still upset to hear the word "married". That made him quarrel with Rudi. As long as she was dating Rudi, only this time the two of them did not talk for days.

He intended to calm himself first, before going out to face his friend.

Dinda drank a glass of water while sitting at the kitchen table.

Dinda's still sitting there, Billy's been following her.

"You don't want a story, what makes you angry?" ask Billy

Dinda ignored Billy's question. He just kept quiet.

Billy sat there.

"I was your friend before we went out. Think of us now as it was." said Billy in a calm voice. Just like Dinda knew him.

"I had a fight with Rudi. I haven't talked to him in a few days" Dinda said.

"Why?" ask Billy.

"He insisted on getting married quickly. I'm not ready yet. I still want to finish my intern at the office" said Dinda.

"You've talked to him what do you want?" ask Billy again. He really maintained his style of speech, so that Dinda could continue to tell stories.

"I didn't get to tell you. I'm just looking for an excuse to delay" Dinda said.

"You should have talked to Rudi. Maybe he can understand" Billy said.

Dinda furrowed her brows. He looked at Billy sharply.

"She asked to get married in a hurry. I don't know what to say. You know I don't like being pressured" said Dinda, remembering how she was with Billy, until she lost contact.

"Yes, I know! But Rudi knows?" ask Billy.

Dinda speechless. He turned his face away. His fingers twirled around the lips of the glass in front of him.

"Who...! Bodo greatly!" said Dinda

Billy sighed. Dinda is still like before, not changing at all, he thought. Billy is confused whether he is happy because Rudi will most likely be eliminated, or even upset by Dinda's hard attitude on this one.

"Yeah already...! Don't think too much now. Let's go ahead, Laura and Mita are waiting!" take Billy.

"First, I washed this glass!" said Dinda who then went to wash the glass, in the sink.

Billy walked out first. She doesn't want to force Dinda, even though she knows Dinda is looking for an excuse to slow back together with her friends.

Dinda finally caught up with Billy. He then picked up a packet of chips, and joined Laura's conversation with Mita.

"Said Mita you used to be a loner. Until now it is still so. How can we be friends with you?" laura said teasing Dinda.

Dinda could smile, with Laura's joke.

"Oohs... So you guys are telling me bad stories behind my back?" dinda. Dinda pinched Laura and Mita's arms.

The three of them laughed together. Then continue joking there.

Dinda now looks more cheerful, she smiles a lot and laughs a lot. His two best friends did not discuss marriage. All are just engrossed in telling stories about their stupidity in the past.

Billy who was sitting in the weaving, took a can of beer, then downed the contents of the can that was already open. He did not stop looking at Dinda, even though Dinda was unaware of it.

Felt they had gathered long enough, Mita who had been picked up by her boyfriend came home, followed by Laura who then joined the party home as well.

They still had a deal to get together again, before Mita returned abroad.

Billy was there with Dinda.

Dinda's starting to get clean. He cleaned up food and drink containers, which scattered.

Billy helped her.

After everything was done, Billy still did not go home. He sat back on the swing, pushing the chair to swing softly. Dinda sat there.

"You remember, we were both together until there was no contact? Just like you are with Rudi now." chirped Billy.

"I think you should talk to him. If he already knows what you want, then he still forces his will, well, it's up to you again later. Go ahead or break up...

Obviously, you need to tell him first. Don't shut it up like that! I know the pain of being hanged, while still a pity," Billy continued.

Dinda listened to Billy talk without responding to anything. He felt Billy's words had a point. Dinda leaned in Billy's arms. The man held Dinda's hand.

"Whatever happens, I'll be there for you." said Billy.
