Part 42's
Dinda saw Alex standing in front of the bartender's desk. Rudi is still not seen.
Alex walked over to the table where Dinda was. He then sat there.
"Where's Rudi?" ask Dinda.
"No, there!" said Alex. He pointed towards the workshop.
Dinda saw Rudi talking to a mechanic there. Dinda stands up to catch up with Rudi but Alex is arrested.
"Where are you? Just wait here first. Rudi will be here again" said Alex
Dinda sat back down.
"I've been friends with Rudi since we were in Elementary School" Alex said, opening a conversation with Dinda.
"I only went to college in Australia, but he chose to stay here" Alex said
It was only fitting that Dinda had never met Alex, Dinda thought.
"Have you just come back here?" ask Dinda
"It's been almost a month. I just haven't been able to contact Rudi. It was a real surprise, he called me earlier" Alex replied
"She didn't think I was here" Alex said with a small laugh.
"Eh, where are you two meeting? I don't think I've ever seen you in our school before" Alex asked.
"I met Rudi on campus" replied Dinda
"Oh... I don't think I'll ever get to know you" Alex looked at Dinda. The man smiled sweetly at Dinda.
Dinda just smiled a little then looked at Rudi who was still in the workshop.
Rudi sat down with Alex and Dinda.
"I'm sorry I went to Australia." Alex said.
"Why?" asked Rudi, while drinking bottled mineral water.
"If I go to college here, Dinda is not necessarily your fiancee" Alex said without burden.
Rudi who was drinking almost choked.
Rudi hit Alex's arm.
"Bas with you! Don't fuck around!" threaten Rudi's.
Dinda just smiled looking at the behavior of the two men.
"From the beginning, if there was a girl that I'd assess, Alex would have had a crush, too" Rudi said as he looked at Dinda
"aaah... You're the same, you must have a crush on my boyfriend" Alex added.
Both men laughed.
"Really! Don't you try!" Now Rudi put on a serious look.
"Quiet, Bro...!" said Alex.
Alex looked at Dinda, then blinked one eye with a sweet smile.
Rudi saw Alex's behavior.
"Aalllleex...!" said Rudi with a high tone of voice.
Alex just laughed, looking at Rudi who rose his emotions.
"When's the official show, bro?" ask Alex
Rudi looked at Dinda. The girl showed no expression at all hearing Alex's question.
"How about Australia, exciting?" ask Rudi. He wants to switch the conversation about marriage.
Hearing Rudi's question, Alex understands that Rudi does not want to talk about Rudi and Dinda.
"Yaa that's it. College like most people. Fortunately I met a new single friend, who is no less exciting than you, there." said Alex
"Oh that way, I forgot about you. Already back here there is no news," said Rudi
"Not that either. I've been busy renovating this place since I got back" Alex said
"So I wanted to invite the boy to play with us, but the number is no longer active" Alex continued
"The guy here?" asked Rudi while furrowing his brows.
"Yes... He first came back here about a few months ago," Alex said.
Alex then flicked his finger at the bartender. A servant came closer.
"What do you want to drink? I'll deal with it," Alex said
Rudi looked at Dinda, the girl shook her head while pointing at the drink glass in front of her that was still a lot.
"Latte coffee is for me" replied Rudi.
Alex looked at Dinda.
"No, my drink is not over yet" replied Dinda.
Alex then talks to the cafe waiter.
The waiter then left.
"Oh yes, as far as I know my friend's father has a pretty big business here. Just in case you've heard, my friend's name is Billy Harper,"
Rudi could see Dinda almost choking on her drink, when she heard Alex say.
"We know him" said Rudi
"She was just with us this afternoon" he continued
"Wow! Do you have any contacts? I want to see him again, so the job in this place is done. Once in a while want to invite him to play here, can the three of us play together!" alex said excitedly.
Rudi looked back at Dinda.
Dinda pulled out her phone. He looked up Billy's phone number, then showed it to Alex.
"okay! Next time we play threesome, huh, bro?!" said Alex.
"Take Dinda here later, too" Alex continued, smiling at Dinda.
Alex likes to joke, Dinda thought. The girl just smiled looking at Alex's silly face.
Rudi was not happy to see that scene of smiles. She then clasped Dinda's hand, as if claiming hers in front of Alex
"We can play again. At any time, when I am not busy working," said Rudi who was still holding Dinda's hand.
"OK! We set the date!" said Alex.
Alex stood up from his chair.
"There's something I want to see first!" said Alex who walked straight to the workshop.
When Alex left, a waiter came with two drinks on a tray and put them on the table in front of Rudi and Dinda.
Dinda thanked the cafe waiter. The servant replied to Dinda, then she walked away.
Dinda who felt something was wrong since Rudi clasped her hand. Then I asked Rudi.
"What's up?" Dinda was curious
"You don't return Alex's smile!" said Rudi.
"Huh...? Isn't he just kidding? That's your friend, isn't it?" ask Dinda again.
"It is precisely because he is my friend that I know that he is serious with you" replied Rudi.
Dinda laughed at Rudi's words. Dinda felt that couldn't be true.
Rudi's eyes glared at Dinda laughing.
"I'm not kidding!" rudi said firmly.
Dinda fell silent, she stared fixedly at Rudi.
"I know Alex has a crush on you. She must have asked you to talk first, when I wasn't here?" ask Rudi.
Dinda remembered that she wanted to catch up with Rudi, but Alex held her back. Seriously?
Dinda was silent, she was completely confused. How can anyone have a crush on people, when they first met? thought Dinda.
Really weird.
"How do you know?" Linda asked back.
"I guessed it.." said Rudi.
Not yet Rudi explained to Dinda, someone wearing a uniform with a workshop logo, approached them. He told me that the car was repaired.
Rudi still clasped Dinda's hand, taking Dinda quickly away from there.
"Let me explain on the road!" said Rudi.
After finishing taking care of the payment, the two of them hurriedly left from there. Without seeing Alex again.
On the way home, Rudi then told Dinda
"When it's about women, what Alex says is serious. At first I thought he was kidding, until I started dating. Any girl who's dating or close to me, Alex will definitely try to grab her, maybe because we have the same taste.
Because when I saw Alex's girlfriend, I was interested, too. It's just that in the past, I used to give in, so we didn't get into a fight over a boyfriend. Alex's movements are always the same as before, when he's with you.
That's why I know he's interested in you, and he's gonna take you away from me. This time I don't want to give up, I don't want to fight with him either. So better, I keep you away from him" explained Rudi.
In his heart he regretted having brought Dinda to that place. He did not expect Alex to be back from Australia, because Alex did not tell him when Rudi called him earlier.
"Try to see later! He will definitely find a way to contact you" continued Rudi again.
The man's face was red. Rudi was really tired and upset. Not yet finished overcoming Billy, even already coupled with the emergence of Alex.
Rudi had to think hard how, so that Dinda would stick with him.
