Uneasy

Julia releases Irfan's embrace. Suddenly he remembered Arka. Julia feels unworthy of having fun while leaving Arka alone at home.

"Why, Jul?" asked Irfan to touch Julia's cheek warmly.

"I need to get home quickly. I left Ark with Nadine. Sorry Fan, I'm going home first" Julia said as she picked up her bag.

"Jul, your phone sounds. Pick up first who knows it's important,"' said Irfan who heard the sound of a cell phone from inside Julia's bag.

Julia took her phone, saw if Ben was the one who called her.

"From Ben. I'll pick it up for a while" Julia told Irfan as if asking for permission.

Irfan just nodded his head.

- "Hello, Ben."

- "Jul, where are you going? Why is your house empty and dark."

- "Ben, are you in my house now?"

- "Yes, but your house is quiet and dark."

- "Ben, now I'm at Irfan's house. I left Ark with Nadine this afternoon. Please check around the house first, who knows Arka is sleeping with Nadine."

- "Jul. Ehm .. house not locked. I'm going in first."

There was a pause for a while, it seemed like Ben was turning on the lights of the house and checking all the spaces.

- "Jul, the house is empty. There's no one."

- "Ben, this is my call to close first huh. I'll call Nadine first. Please also call Nadine."

- "Okay, Jul."

Julia hung up, her hands shaking. The feeling is starting to feel bad. Indeed, Julia did not contact Nadine and Nadine did not send photos of Arka as promised.

"Ben is at home, but the house is empty and dark. Nadine took Arka away, didn't even lock the door" Julia said quickly.

"Julia, calm down. It's possible that Nadine took the streets of Arka looking for dinner," said Irfan pacified Julia.

Julia sat back down and tried to call Nadine's phone again but always failed. I think Julia wants to slam her own phone.

Ben pacing the porch. He failed to call Nadine's phone. In his heart he blames Julia for entrusting Arka with Nadine. A swearing came out of Ben's mouth when he could not call Nadine many times.

Ben threw his body down on the porch seat of the house. His hands ruffled his hair. He is confused how.

That's when the sound from his phone signifies a message coming in. Ben quickly opened it, his forehead frowning at the sight of the message from Theo.

- Quickly come to the airport right now if you want Arka safe. I can't call Julia. If you can take Julia too.

As Ben's eyes widened, he saw a picture of Nadine holding Arka. Ben immediately locked the door to Julia's house. He also forwarded a message from Theo, as there was not much time. He must catch up with Arka before it is too late.

Ben stepped on his car gas deeply and immediately the car ran fast leaving a loud squeaking sound.

Irfan drove Julia's car at high speed. He was very worried about something bad happening to Arka, but he tried to calm down in front of Julia. It was very desirable he reported the police, but it was not clear whether Arka was kidnapped or just taken to the streets by Nadine. Throughout the journey, only silence. Irfan and Julia were silent, preoccupied with their respective thoughts.

Julia's phone rang, there was a message coming in. Julia's eyes widened when carrying a message from Ben, but on the other hand she was a little relieved because she already knew where her son was.

Irfan turned the car towards the airport. His heart was crumpled, afraid of what was about to happen. Irfan glanced a little at Julia and Julia's situation was not much different. There was clearly anxiety in Julia's eyes.

Irfan increases the speed of the car to arrive soon. But he was a little relieved because Ben also helped, probably going to the airport first than himself and Julia.

"Calm, Jul. Nothing will happen. There is Ben who will get there first" said Irfan calming.

"Yes, Fan." Julia wiped away her tears as she continued to pray that Arka would return to her arms in good health.

Nadine put the Ark in her lap. Arka looks tired and sleepy. Nadine immediately gave a bottle of milk for Arka to sleep, she was tired from earlier carrying Arka. Not long after, Arka also seemed to have fallen asleep.

"Theo, are we still waiting for the plane?" nadine asked impatiently.

"Propsy. But Nad, are you sure you'll take Arka away? It's not easy being a mother" asked Theo.

"I'm sure. I can't possibly have a child of my own and I want to repay my heartache to Julia. I will raise Arka so affectionately that she only loves me as her mother and will not know Julia" Nadine said with determination.

"Okay, it's up to you. I'll only help you get this far. The rest is up to you. And remember, don't call me again!"

"Yes, I know Theo." Nadine gave her best smile. But in his heart he would never let Theo out of his grasp. Nadine wants to have Theo. Not because he loves her, but Theo can give her a very good life without her having to work hard.

"Nad, wait here for a second. I'll ask the officer how much longer we wait" Theo said as he walked away.

Ben parked his car carelessly. Walking quickly, Ben called Theo's phone. Unexpectedly, Theo picked him up and told Ben where he was to get Ben to see him.

Ben ran with all his strength, his gaze sweeping in all directions in order to see Theo's whereabouts.

"Ben!" call Theo restrained.

"Theo, what's going on? Where is Arka?" ask Ben directly.

"Calm down, I'm waiting for the police to come. Nadine was there. You hide here, don't let Nadine see you" Theo said.

"But what exactly happened?"

"Where's Julia?"

"Julia is on her way. I hope it's not long before it's over."

"okay."

Theo waved his hand at the few policemen who came. While Ben is starting to catch what is going on.

"Theo, wait a minute. If we catch Nadine now, I'm afraid I'll endanger Arka's safety" Ben said.

"So, let's talk to the police. They are more experienced" said Theo casually.

The police who came already knew what happened because this morning Theo had told him all about what Nadine was going to do. Ben expressed his concern and the police asked for help.

"Sir Theo, please hold the Ark first so that Nadine does not suspect. Once successful, then leave it to us," the police said in a statement.

"Good, sir."

The police and Ben follow Theo from a distance. Theo walked over to Nadine.

But Nadine was not as stupid as they had expected. As Theo was leaving, Nadine followed him from afar. He knows Theo met Ben and some cops.

Nadine smiled cynically, she cursed Theo, Ben and Julia inwardly.
