Julia had not expected this day to end with such a beautiful impression embedded in her mind. A day with Theo in his village, it turned out to be completely different from his expectations.

Slowly Julia opened the box which was covered in black velvet. After opening, Julia saw a beautiful bracelet with a sparkling diamond stone decoration.
"Wow this gorgeous bracelet, Theo. But sorry, I can't take it." Julia again closed the box and placed it in front of Theo.
"Why? It's a gift for you and I don't mean anything" Theo asked in surprise.
"Sorry Theo, but I'm afraid my husband will think something's wrong. In addition, these bracelets are very expensive. I can't take it."
"Julia, please accept it! Don't tell your husband that this bracelet is from me. You know, I've kept this bracelet for years for you. I used to want to give it as a gift for our engagement, but it turns out we are not a match. So, this bracelet is yours, indeed" Theo explained.

"It's very pretty and very fitting in your hand" Theo said, looking at Julia's hand.
Theo let out his breath, setting a tightness in his chest that suddenly burst out. His heart ached every time he saw the bracelet. Yeah ... The bracelet he was supposed to give first, but everything turned out to be not as planned.
"Thank you again, Theo. I'll keep this bracelet," Julia smiled.
