The restaurant employee seemed to think, until finally asked Rayyan to wait a while. The employee went inside, probably asking someone for permission. Rayyan was getting impatient and kept looking inside, waiting for the employee to come back out.

"Please, Sir. You're allowed in."

Rayyan rushed in, circulating her gaze at the quiet-looking atmosphere of the restaurant.

"It's rented?" rayyan asked as she turned to the restaurant clerk who was walking after her.

"Yes, Sir. For a family dinner."

Rayyan was a little relieved. If this is a family event, it means the owner of the black sedan car is definitely part of the Zahra family. But suddenly his mind thought of a no-no.

"It can't be a matchmaking event, right? When two families meet for dinner together, it's also called a family dinner, right?"

Not even Rayyan made peace with her own mind, Rayyan's eyes had caught the figure of Zahra who was seen joking with a man. The look on Zahra's face even seemed to differ by three hundred and sixty degrees from his time in the office all day.

Rayyan's chest seemed tight, not willing to see her lover now widen his laughter at other men. While all day, he was just a part of Zahra's indifferent attitude. There was not even a call, unfortunately.

Rayyan walked up to Zahra who was standing opposite a man in front of a table stand that served various food menus. Zahra who knew Rayyan's arrival immediately turned her body, no more smiles on her face. Now the look of his face has returned to the look of the face that has been exhibited to him all day.

"We talk for a while, Zah" said Rayyan, grabbing Zahra's hand, intending to take Zahra outside for a moment.

"Just here." Zahra let go of Rayyan's hand which was holding her wrist.

Rayyan smiled faintly, not expecting to get a rejection from Zahra just to hold her. Rayyan's gaze turned to the male figure who was still standing not far from Zahra.

"That's okay, he's not interfering in our business. Tell me what you want to say."

"Who is he?" rayyan asked as she glanced back at the man.

Zahra looked back, looking at the man who had made Rayyan feel jealous.

"Him? If you want to know who he is, just acquaintance." Zahra shifted her legs, intending not to hinder Rayyan if she wanted to get acquainted with the man behind her.

"Dark!" Rayyan looked growling, holding back her anger when she felt her lover was really being annoying right now.

Zahra was still silent, but her eyes were fixed on Rayyan. Several times turning his face and sighing, Rayyan was actually fighting with herself. He had to struggle to hold back his emotions, so as not to explode right now. Even when he had not gotten any explanation from Zahra.

"You may forget that today is my birthday, Zah." Rayyan looked up at Zahra. His gaze was still sad, as if disappointed with Zahra all day who did not pay attention to him.

"really?" muttered Zahra with a wiry.

"I won't bother you if you forget. But please don't be this annoying anymore, Zah. You even stayed away from me all day, but instead went to dinner with him." Rayyan paused his words. Her chest is so tight. If he was not ashamed of his age that had just increased now, he might have whined earlier.

"I didn't ask for any gift from you, Zah. Just give me an explanation of what happened to you today." Rayyan continued.

Zahra cleared her throat, then lowered her head for a while before finally looking up and giving an explanation to Rayyan.

"I have to stay away from you today for this dinner. This show is private, and I can't tell you."

"His name is Sabian, he's a friend of Rafa's. We're going-"

"So you're avoiding me for a guy Rafa's age, Zah?" Rayyan could no longer hold back her emotions. The jealousy had taken hold of him, overflowing just like that and needing an impingement.

"Since when have you been in a relationship, huh?" rayyan's jaw hardens. There are still many things that Zahra has not explained and he must get the answer right now.

"A long time ago, I knew Sabian from childhood. And. I like it."

"What did you say? Liked it?" Rayyan was startled, speaking in a voice that rose one level while pointing towards Sabian.

Sabian who realized her position was increasingly insecure, immediately stepped forward to face Rayyan.

"It's dinner time. We can talk about it while chatting." Sabian said as she embraced and rubbed Zahra's shoulder.

"Grass your hand from my girl!" Rayyan deliberately pushed Sabian's body and kept Sabian's hand away from Zahra.

"Darling...." Zahra held back Rayyan who began to be provoked by those emotions. Both hands were coiled around Rayyan's waist, holding her tightly so as not to start a fight there.

Rayyan turned to Zahra who held her tightly, especially by calling her a call 'honey' that she had not heard from Zahra all day.

"Please stop, we're only here for dinner" Zahra said as she felt Rayyan's hand rub her back gently.

Zahra raised her head, looking at Rayyan who was still looking annoyed.

"I'm sorry, honey. This is all Eowyn's and Rafa's ideas." now it's Zahra's turn to be scared when she tells him the truth. Rayyan would be very angry if she knew that she had been deliberately away from him all day. His hands were still tightly hugging Rayyan's body, hoping that Rayyan could hold back her emotions.

"What do you mean?"

"Actually, a few days ago we planned to give you a surprise birthday. And from there we deliberately asked Sabian for help to get involved in this event. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. So please don't be mad again?"

Rayyan was annoyed to find himself being bullied, even he was jealous of Rafa's friend who did not know anything about it. Fortunately I did not have a fistfight earlier, if it happened it could be a long problem.

"Please.... There's our family here, so don't be mad, okay?" Zahra rubbed Rayyan's cheek gently as Rayyan made no sound.

"Fa, come out! I'm a mosquito repellent here." Sabian shouted as she took a few steps back from the couple who were still looking at each other.

"So where's our family?"

"It's there." Zahra pointed at a room. "That glass, only the person from inside can see out. So our family just watched our drama from there."

When Rayyan is not done with her shock, Rafa and Eowyn come out with a birthday cake with some candles burning there while singing a happy birthday song. Behind him were Rayyan's parents, their grandparents, and also the Zahra family.

Rayyan was moved, staring at the people she loved present on her special day. His teary eyes he hid by hugging Zahra before the family group that walked towards him was getting closer.

"I'll punish you, Zah. As soon as all these events are over." whispered Rayyan as she hugged Zahra tightly.
