Adit and the extended family of papa and his mother directly take care of the funeral of his father at that time. Adit's parents' home has been packed with mourners, ranging from neighbors, friends and business associates of his papa.

Salma, Mama Tari and Eowyn continue to be around mama Mei who since at the hospital had often fainted and cried hysterically. Her husband's departure was sudden. Even before the husband fell in the bathroom, he still got a friendly flutter even though they were no longer young.

Zahra and Meta ma'am who had just come, approached Adit and Rayyan in front to say condolences. They were the ones who took Rayyan's job this afternoon he got a call from Salma if the grandfather was rushed to the hospital. Afterwards, Zahra ran towards Eowyn and hugged her.

"Prophey, Wyn. Lo's strong so you can nenangin grandma and parents lo." Zahra spoke softly as she rubbed Eowyn's back tightly around her.

Eowyn simply nodded while wiping away her tears. "Thank you, Zah."

Preparation for the funeral is over. Although time has shown almost eight p.m., mourners still keep coming. Just a moment ago, both of Zach's parents came to serve. Zach's mother tells him that Zach will be late because he and his teammates are still working a lot.

Shortly before the release of the body, Eowyn's teammate arrived. They meet Adit first, and then greet the other family members. Zach stepped swiftly towards Eowyn who was standing next to Rayyan. Zach bowed to Rayyan and conveyed his grief.

"Darling.." said Zach Iirih as he was near Eowyn.

His hand reached out to Eowyn's hand, as if to channel power to Eowyn who seemed so devastated by her grandfather's departure.

"It's OK, your grandfather has settled down in heaven." Zach continued.

Eowyn simply nodded with a smile towards Zach. I want it to feel like he is pouring into Zach's arms while crying and sobbing with his firmness. But that is not possible, all his family even withstood deep sadness to keep his grandmother's condition from fainting again.

"So my mom and dad have been here for a while, because grandpa and grandma are just at Ronald's house. They're afraid Ronald can't handle it."

"Yes. I asked your father to come." Zach clasped Eowyn's hand tightly. "I'm sorry, I just got to come."

"No problem. In the office there's a lot of work."

Once everything was ready, the delivery troupe moved towards the family cemetery. Mama Mei who forced to participate to the funeral made the whole family became anxious if later she would faint again. I don't know how many times he fainted since the IGD. But Salma and her mother were always by her side to strengthen her.

Adit went into the burrow to deliver his father's departure at his final resting place. As the only child, this was the last task he had to do with the Papa.

While Rayyan calmed Eowyn who was quietly sobbing while embracing her arm. Rafa, Alita, and Zahra stand next to Eowyn. Zach kept glancing at Eowyn who was so comfortable crying in Rayyan's arms. He felt envious, feeling Eowyn had not fully trusted himself as a tenpat sharing his joys and sorrows.

But the thought was hurriedly brushed aside. This is the loss of the Eowyn family. With their relationship still in a matter of days, of course Eowyn will prefer the shoulder of the brother who is always a protector from childhood.

After the funeral procession was over, Adit decided to stay at his parents' house with his wife and child. Although there are many brothers darinpapa and his mother who stay, but Adit and Salma are reluctant to leave his mother just like that.

Salma had just come out of the guest room to be put to sleep by her mother-in-law. After closing the door slowly, Salma stepped up to her husband's room. Adit turned his head, then stood up to ask the wife about the condition of her mother.

"Well, you're asleep?"

"Udah. But.. We are forced to give sleeping pills without my mother's knowledge, because my mother needs rest." explained Salma as she approached her husband.

"What...is there nothing that mom sleeps in her room?"

"Mama doesn't want to sleep in her room, she says she's still in Papa's shadow. Been sleeping in the guest room that used to be made by Eowyn."

"So you slept with Eowyn?"

Salma nodded. "There's aunty Ika there too."

Adit nodded, then exhaled his breath that felt heavy all day. Salma touched the husband's arm, then spread out both arms as Adit turned towards him. Without waiting for a long time, Adit immediately hugged her.

"Crying, mas. Not arrested. You also feel a deep sadness because you are left behind." whispered Salma while rubbing Adit's back gently.

Adit tightened his embrace, his shoulders shaking a sign of his sobbing starting to come out. The release of the emotion of grief that he endured from this afternoon, when Heru's doctor said that his papa could not be saved.
