BABY AND FAREWELL

There was a little angel, in his demonic eyes...

"The doctor told me that Jenny's psychiatrist was coming. He hasn't given me any information yet. Even though she assured me that Jenny was fine, I still wanted to know the details. Why can't I hear it, just because it's not the guardian. Jenny's family. Jenny would definitely be angry if I would ask her mother to come just to hear her status." Lucas complained while sitting next to Rania.

"Knowing Jenny's psychiatrist, I'm sure she'll share the information with us. And I think he did it because Jenny hurt herself. So don't worry too much, we can figure this out" Rania patted Lucas on the shoulder seeing him worry and frustration.

Lucas sighed and shrugged his shoulders. They waited several hours because Jenny had undergone surgery due to Jenny's injury. Once they were convinced that Jenny was safe, Lucas was now more concerned with Jenny's emotional and mental status.

Rania cleared her throat and sat on the sofa in the waiting room. "Can I tell you something?"

Lucas looked at Rania. With Rania's tone of voice, she was sure Rania knew something.

"I met Jenny a few days ago."

Lucas' gaze now turned into a sharp gaze.

"Please listen to me first, will you?"

Because he knew Lucas would not give a good answer, he convinced himself and started telling stories.

Jenny handed an envelope to Rania . His eyes are red and red. When Jenny calls him and asks him to meet, Rania offers to go and visit him at her apartment. Not wanting Jenny to drive because she got a clue something was wrong just by listening to Jenny's voice over the phone.

"What's this?" Rania holds the large envelope, and reads it.Rania is surprised but also confused.

Jenny snorted, calming down. "I'm pregnant, I think I'm pregnant with Ruby's child. I did it many times with Ruby using kond*m, but I thought there could be a leak. We'll meet on Friday, but I told him not to come.”

Rania furrowed her brows. He doesn't understand. She knows Jenny is very aggressive to have Ruby . He knew Jenny's intentions as well. Hearing from Jenny that she is pregnant and is about to meet Ruby, but not wanting Ruby to come to their meeting leaves her confused.

“I love him. I feel like I love him and I'm sure he loves me too. When I found out that I was pregnant, I was very happy. I'm sure she wouldn't leave me if she found out I was pregnant. I went to the hospital to do a DNA test, planned to throw my baby's DNA test right in Ketrin's face, so he could know that Ruby was serious with me. Ta-but ...” Jenny cried a hiccup unable to continue

Rania took a deep breath and held Jenny's hand. " Jenny, you knew I was up against him from the start. I only agreed to avenge Lucas but by using Ruby's feelings and hurting their children, I was disappointed. Besides that's not true, and Ruby's gonna be so hurt, I know it's impossible not to fall in love with her."

Jenny's tears fell as she nodded. " I already knew that once he knew Ketrin's secret everything would fall apart. Before, I thought it was okay. I just wanted to see Ketrin go through misery, and Ruby go through grief just like Lucas did. Then I'll forgive him and start a new chapter with Ruby. I thought I could just go to sleep, wake up tomorrow and move on. But reality surprises me. I'm pregnant with Daniel's son. I became very confused and sick. Thinking back, I didn't understand why I let Daniel touch me more than I should, why I always asked for his help when I was confused. I don't understand myself. What I really feel."

Rania was shocked to hear the thing she never expected, Rania knew it was not the time for her to ask

how could Jenny relate to Daniel. "Jen, then what's your plan?” Rania patted gently on Jenny's back which was shaking from crying.

“I don't want this baby. Why do I always have chaos. I thought I was going to lie to Ruby and say that this is her son. But seeing how devastated Ruby was when she found out Leo wasn't hers, scared me and worried me. I plan to start all over again with him. But, why did things never support me?”

“Jenny whatever decision you choose, you must be hurt. But, the baby is innocent of any kind, don't say hurtful things to your baby. I know it's complicated. Try talking to Daniel. It's not too late to do what's right."

"I don't feel good because I want Lucas to get justice but I can't imagine seeing Ruby get hurt in front of me. He told me that his children were everything. He told me how much he loved them. I thought about everything, not just about this baby, and this baby made me even more upset. Daniel and I have no relationship. I can't let this baby

keep on living.”

Rania snorted, "Jen, everything has happened, there is no time to regret it. Talk to Lucas, maybe he'll be disappointed, but you know that he won't leave you under any circumstances. We can still fix it if you want."

Rania hugs Jenny tightly, rubbing Jenny's back while comforting her. "I'm here for you. Lucas is always there for you. You're not alone. Didn't you ever think about that, please? You're the precious Jenny. You're a good woman. Ye. And I love you. We love you."

Lucas' eyes widened as the truth slowly dawned on him. Realizing that Ruby may already know the truth about her.

Lucas immersed his face into his hands as frustration began to surface. She knew Rania was right about it, but she only felt excluded because she knew nothing. "You should have told me."

"You know you're very sensitive about Jenny, I know you love her a lot and protect her. I felt I had no right to tell you the big news, and Jenny assured me that she would talk to you."

“I know that. But Jenny seemed to be expecting Ruby that day. From the way he spoke, he was sure Ruby would come. Now that you've told me, it becomes clear that he's just playing me. He's just pretending. He knew that Ruby would not come. I feel like she's obsessed with Ruby, not a real feeling. He is confused about himself and his own feelings. You know that he didn't take the pills. And he hasn't seen his doctor for quite some time now. Oh God. If only I had known, I wouldn't have left him alone."

Rania could feel anger in Lucas' voice and she felt bad for it."I know and I'm sorry. That's why I'm telling the truth now even if Jenny forbids me from saying that. It makes me feel worse than ever. I feel like it's all my fault. I'm sorry for what happened last night with Jenny.  Lucas I'm sorry, can we just deal with all this and fix everything?"

Ruby was sitting on the porch of Daniel's apartment that morning. He doesn't know what else to feel.

"I honestly don't know what to feel. I'm so angry, I'm afraid I could kill Ketrin and Sean. But I'm thinking about our kids. They don't deserve any of this."

Daniel took a moment to find the right words to say. They had been sitting there for hours and it was the first time Ruby had spoken. "Do you have a plan now?"

Ruby chuckled, still staring at the overcast sky. "What can I do? Leo deserves to be with you. To be honest, I feel bad and ashamed of you. I can't imagine Ketrin doing all that. He's very sly."

Daniel strongly agreed. "I heard Sean went to the US last night.  Escape. I'm sorry for what I said that night to you, I didn't mean to say that you had a bad influence on Leo, I know you love him so much and I thank you. I was just so angry that night."

"Just calm down, I know you've been very angry all along, I understand. I feel so betrayed. Ketrin, Sean, they're outrageous. Jenny, I don't know if I should scold her or thank her as an eye opener. I don't even know if I should believe that Jenny loves me, once I find out that her best friend Lucas is Yoona's younger brother. I feel so guilty, I'll apologize to Lucas, but I still need time. All I have right now is anger, not only at Ketrin and Sean, but also at myself. I don't know who to trust anymore."

"I can't blame you for feeling it. I don't know if you need this but I guess right now, you should focus more on yourself and Irene. Others, think about it later. Anger will not benefit you. But take your time first. You need to rest. A few moments for your anger to subside. You're right, you should apologize to Lucas after you've calmed down. But, if I may say it again, I feel like Jenny really loves you."

Ruby didn't answer anymore. Daniel stood up, to take a bag. "I think Leo and I should go now to the airport. Our plane will fly in 2 hours."

Ruby nodded, "Alright, please be careful. And I hope Leo will be happy with you." Ruby hugged Daniel as a farewell.

Walking towards the door, Ruby was startled by Leo hugging her legs. His son was a quiet child, as if he always looked fine, even when he was sad.

"Hi baby, I'm going home because you're leaving soon." Carrying Leo who immediately hugged him.

"Why aren't Irene's father, mother, and sister coming with us?" Leo looked at Ruby with his innocent eyes.

"Listen darling. Like I said a few days ago. Uncle Daniel is your father too okay? Isn't it good that you have two fathers? Since Leo's been together a long time and lived with dad, it's Leo's turn to stay with Daniel's dad, okay?"

"Yes dad."

"Then I have to go, then" Leos down from his arms.

"Don't be naughty, I'll always miss you." Ruby kissed Leo's entire face before leaving.

Walking with big strides, not wanting Leo and Daniel to see Ruby cry. His heart was broken from having to part with his son. However, he is also happy, as Leo will live a better life, away from a family that is in turmoil.
