I used to think that a relationship was enough with just love. But, I also question myself is that enough? There are times when my loyalty is tested. I hold on for time

old ones.

But now I knowingly have an illicit relationship while wearing my wedding ring.I feel bad, but I don't want to stop this either.

"Looking at your secretary firsthand, it seems like she's a smart, learned person."

Ruby nodded, pretending to focus on

the tablet. “Ya, indeed. He is very smart and organized. He did everything very well."

Ketrin breathed a sigh of relief. “Happy to hear it. I've noticed that since you changed secretaries, you're no longer staying in the office because of overtime work. You have a lot of free time. So I think it seems like you're not too busy.”

Ruby looked at Ketrin who directed her eyes towards the street. Jenny made her job easier for him. Jenny is very proactive and meticulous in doing things so that she does not have to work overtime. “Uh, yes. I've also realized it. He did make it easy for me, but I doubt the statement ‘ is not busy’. After my overseas meeting, I'm sure I need to overtime and stay again.”

Ruby looked back at the tablet. His mind was partly focused on the emails he read and partly on his affair with Jenny. Her heart felt guilty, but at the same time, Ruby

finding a way to make things easier for her and Jenny. Ruby knows very well that she does not need the ‘lebur’ mentioned earlier, but she will use that time to be with Jenny. His mind has already

filled with images of the hot activities they will do in the office bedroom.

Ruby flinched from her mind. She thinks she's really addicted to Jenny. He could not distinguish whether his feelings were pure like and attraction or partly animal lust.

“Tired right?” Ketrin glanced at her unusually quiet husband on the way home. “You sure

tiredness. Is the meeting going well?”

Ruby cleared her throat, she tried to feel her chest, she was afraid Ketrin could hear her heartbeat. He did not know it was due to exhaustion or his strange feeling of being betrayed for the first time

Ketrin and very brazenly remember her activities with Jenny on the plane a few hours ago, even when there was a wife beside her.

“The meeting went fine. I just lack sleep. Flight's bumpy. My head hurts a little from being drunk.”

Ketrin nods and smiles “I'll call a massage therapist to massage you. The maid has also cooked your favorite food. You can rest as soon as we get home.”

Ruby looked. “Can you personally give me a massage?”

Ketrin. “Ruby, you know that's not part of my craft. I can't believe after 20 years, you still don't know that. I'm gonna make popcorn

when we watch movies in our room. It will be more calming. What say?”

Ruby just smiled not responding to his wife anymore. That was the gap in Ruby's heart. She wanted

his wife takes care of him, cooks for him, notices little things about him. But his wife doesn't want to even when Ruby herself asks. He will argue that they already have a maid who is paid to serve them. So Ketrin doesn't have to do any work.

“Already arrived, quickly down.” Lucas wakes up Jenny who fell asleep during the trip after an argument.

“Quick grab your bag and get off! I want to hurry home and rest” Lucas does not respond. She felt a huge headache after her argument with Jenny.

“Come stay, I don't lie if I miss you.” Lucas did not flinch.

“So you're angry? So annoying. Is now your hobby turning into arguing and getting mad at me? Thank you for picking me up. I've been troubling you.” Jenny stomped her foot when she opened the car door and then closed it hard. Lucas shook his head to look at Jenny's childlike behavior while being upset.

Lucas got out of his car, opened the trunk of the car to drop off Jenny's suitcase. “Don't bother, I don't need your help.” Jenny brushed Lucas' hand off.

“Do not sulk like a child.” Lucas chases after Jenny who is walking fast and not listening to her.

“OK, I'm sorry for being so angry with you. So let's get you inside” Lucas picked up a suitcase bag from Jenny. Jenny turned to face Lucas.

“Waaah, fine because I'm kind. I forgive you.” Jenny giggles which makes Lucas sneer.

“I'm also exhausted, so carry me.” Not yet had time to answer, Jenny had already jumped onto Lucas' back, making Lucas slightly staggered.

“Jeez hey. You're 25, why act like a 9-year-old. I can't believe I've known you for 13 years, you haven't changed at all. Quick down! Weight know.” Lucas

grumbling while walking towards the elevator.

“No, walk fast and Don't lie about my weight. All men say I'm slim and sexy.” Answer it while laughing.

“You are not sexy at all.”

“Don't say like that, you just haven't seen me already*ang, if you see it then you will pull your words.”

“Sial, can you speak normally? Why are your words always cab*l.” Lucas was annoyed and grew annoyed because the person he scolded instead laughed happily. Jenny really likes to tease Lucas with dirty words. Because Lucas and his life is too straight according to Jenny.

“Come quickly down. I feel like my back is going to break.” Jenny got off Lucas' back when she got to the apartment. The apartment is neat and clean, which Jenny is sure Lucas cleaned.

“What are you here for every day?” looking around his apartment that looks like some decor

unaltered.

“Only every time I come home from work, I stop by to clean up. And I changed some decor because I felt like you haven't changed it for a long time.” Put Jenny's stuff on

Chamber.

“It's okay I like whatever your taste.” He put his tired body on the bed.

“Don't lie down, you're dirty and need a shower,” Lucas pulls Jenny's hand to get up.

“Jeez, you're very fussy.” Jenny with a heavy heart got up and took the towel.

“Day with warm water, and I will prepare a meal for you.” Lucas tidied up Jenny's stuff.

“OK okay, I'll take a shower. Thank you, but I'm full. So I'll go straight to sleep.”

Jenny kissed Lucas on the cheek and headed straight for the bathroom.

Lucas sighed after Jenny went into the bathroom. His mind was still very anxious about Jenny's forbidden relationship and her married Director. Lucas could do nothing. Lucas loves Jenny very much, he wants to always take care of her and protect her. But when Jenny herself chooses to cross the barbed path, Lucas cannot choose but to accompany Jenny through the path. That's his weakness, he can't not always support Jenny.

Whatever happens, Lucas always tells himself that he will always be next to Jenny. Through the bad and good days. He did not want to regret for the umpteenth time for not being able to protect the people he loved.
