7. Come with You

Steven lives in a villa next to Willa's. When they arrive at the car park, Willa refuses to join her Mama and she wants to join Steven.

Willa then took Steven and said, "i'm not going anywhere but with him. I'll go wherever he goes."

Mama Willa held Willa's hand so firmly and said, "you can't go anywhere but with me and go back to our house."

"Why? Tell me what's wrong with living with my own husband in his house." Said Willa with a look of annoyed face.

"He has his own reasons." Reply Mama Willa.

"There is no reason in the world to separate a woman from her husband in her own home." Willa said again.

"You want to do what I say with your own consciousness, or I'll get the guards to force you to come home with me? Go ahead, you decide what you want to choose." Said Mama Willa who looked furious.

Willa quickly refused and said, "i will never, never forever let go of her."

Steven felt very angry and at the same time felt sorry for the feeling that was raging in his heart and made him feel more regretful because if only if he did not go to meet Willa in the first place earlier and pretending to be her husband, this situation would not have been worse for Willa.

Behind everything that happened, Steven felt very guilty. But now, he was forced to accept all of this. No matter what he wanted or not, now he had no other choice.

As the guards were trying to pull Willa hard to remove Willa from Steven, he looked down at the ground and hardened his jaw so strongly, because he had no other choice and he couldn't help but look at that kind of Willa again.

Willa looked into Steven's eyes, as her own eyes filled with tears and she said, "you promised me that you wouldn't let anyone else take me away from you. But why are you looking down now? Are you afraid to look me in the eye because you lied to me?"

Willa looked so hurt.

Suddenly Willa shouted loudly.

"Look at me.... Even if you don't remember me, you will always be in my heart and will always be the husband I love the most. You can never be replaced by anyone else."

Willa began to sob and again said softly.

"Please Dion. No, I mean Steven, whatever your name is... Let me spend time with you. I beg you and I promise you that I will never bother you. Just treat me like your servant or like your pet in your house even you can treat me like a chair in your house. I've been very satisfied. Please, don't forbid me. At least to see yourself."

Then Steven bit his lips hard.

Willa began to cry, yelling and saying, "do you know what I felt when you let them take me away from you? You allowed them to take my soul out of my body in the worst way in front of your eyes and you just looked at them quietly."

"Dion, I've always loved your name because I've always thought that it fits you. Because you've always illuminated me. But if that name bothers you, I can call you by whatever name you want. If you like Steven's name, I'll call you Steven from now on. All I want is the man standing before me right now, whoever his name is."

While the guards keep pulling Willa away from Steven. Suddenly Steven pulled Mama Willa's hand away from Willa's standing position.

"I know that you're embracing culture to the timuran. You have a different culture and tradition to me that doesn't allow women to have a relationship with a man before they get married. So I promise you, no matter what he says or does, I will never forget who I am and will not have any relationship with him. Because I knew very well that I was a stranger and I was not her husband. So let him stay with me in my house a little longer, until he feels calm. We've started all this together, and now let's get this over with until it ends together." Steven said with a serious look.

Actually Mama Willa was very upset and also angry, because all this was not right for her daughter to do. Willa was not supposed to live with a foreign man in the man's house, and this was all in complete contradiction to the religion, tradition, and culture espoused by the Willa family.

While for Steven, the culture of living with the opposite sex even though not married has become commonplace. That's what made Mama Willa doubtful. But for this one, Mama Willa had to make an exception.

Willa has been living in a psychiatric facility for 4 years. So Mama Willa wants that Willa should be treated like a normal person. So he had to agree to the exemption to keep his daughter in a condition that did not return to what she used to.

"Remember, you promised me. She won't accept any wrongdoing if anything happens, because she thinks that you're her husband. But then, you're the one who'll be responsible if something happens to him."

Steven smiled and said, "i know. Thank you for trusting me. I promise you, I won't let you down."

Then Steven again approached the direction where Willa was standing and spoke to him.

"Come, we'll go...."

Willa instantly pushed all those guards with a single push. He then ran towards Steven and jumped onto his body, curling his arms around Steven's neck, curled his legs around Steven's waist and looked into Steven's eyes with his eyes filled with tears.

Then he laughed and said, "I know that. Even if your mind doesn't remember me, but your heart will never let me down."

The next second Steven curled his arms around Willa's body involuntarily. She then looked towards Willa's eyes and wiped her tears and smiled at him.

"Don't be sad anymore. Let's go home together."
