10. Begged

"After all, I know that you've always been a shy guy. I said that and it made you even more embarrassed. I'm really sorry." Willa said with an expression so sad on her face.

Steven drew closer to his disappearance and patted him on the shoulder and said, "i'm not mad at you, so don't be sad. I could at least see that sad expression on his face. Smile and go take a shower."

Willa smiled and said, "you've always had a very good heart all this time."

Steven smiled then pulled Willa's shoulder making her turn around and said, "the bathroom is there. You need to be quick to shower and don't waste your time. It's time to go to sleep."

Willa walked towards the bathroom until she arrived at the door, then she turned around and said, "wait for me until I finish taking a bath."

Steven hoped if he could cry, because he knew that Willa would never leave him alone and it would be a long night for Willa and himself.

Suddenly an idea popped into Steven's head and he said to himself, 'other people usually say that if you see others yawn, you can't help but yawn as well. I hope it will work on him and make him sleepy.'

After that Steven started yawning and said, "i'm sorry I'm too sleepy so I'm going to go sleep in my room."

"I won't be long. Just give me 10 minutes until I finish the shower and come back to you. Please wait for me. I want to say something important to you and after that you can do whatever you want to do." Willa.

Steven was about to say, "but...."

Willa immediately stopped him and said sadly, "however I have locked the door of this room. But I know that you can open it if you want. So please, can you promise me that you won't be going anywhere for 10 minutes."

Steven felt that he could do nothing more and he knew that he would wait for Willa. So he sat down in a chair, loosened his tie, took a glass of water on the table and drank it and said, "I promise God, that I won't go anywhere until 10 minutes. But if you're late I'll go to bed in my room."

"Well, that's enough time for me to finish my bath." Willa said to Steven cheerfully.

10 Minutes later...

Steven was sitting on a chair, leaning his head against his desk, looking down and thinking about what to do next. Suddenly she heard the sound of the bathroom door opening. Then he lifted his head and saw Willa coming out from inside the bathroom.

Steven looked surprised and looked at Willa with his eyes wide. No, not only was she shocked, but she felt that her heart would stop beating because of Willa's beauty and her tongue felt stiff as well. Because he doesn't know what to say to Willa or how to act. So he also spoke to himself.

'I can smell her amazing scent all over this room. The perfume she used was perfect for her. The fragrance of the perfume she wore spread throughout this room. Now I believe what her mother told me earlier, that Willa is one of the prettiest women in their town.'

'And if he wanted any man, he just had to point at the man and the man would kneel under his feet.'

'I've seen other women's beauties a lot, but this is the first time I've felt that feeling. I don't know why, I feel that my heart almost stopped beating. Oh my God, he now looked at me, smiled and drew closer to me.'

And whenever I come closer to you to touch you, I suddenly see that you're instantly gone. After that I woke up from my sleep and I screamed. I always felt pain in me because I always felt that you were angry with me for some reason and you no longer wanted me to get close to you. It makes me feel so bad because I don't know what the reason for all that is and I don't want to be at a distance with you. So you can't think of how much I want to feel the warmth of your breath or how much I want to touch your lips with mine. I know that I promise you, I won't bother you and I've kept hold of my words so far. But just for once, would you make an exception and let me kiss you?"

Steven was about to say something, "..........."

When Willa put his fingers on Steven's lips to make Steven not resist and said,

"I know that you've forgotten me and you don't feel the same way about me right now. But can you force yourself to do this to my madness and let me kiss you, just once."

Steven looked into Willa's eyes in surprise.

"Don't worry, I promise you that I won't do anything other than kiss you."

Willa was about to put her fingers away from Steven's lips, when she suddenly put her cheeks on Steven's cheeks, then whispered gently pleading to him.

"Help me, I beg you only once. And I promise you if you let me kiss you this time, just this time. I'll never talk about my feelings again or I'll never do anything like this again. I'll keep all the memories inside me and move on with our lives as Willa and Steven and it'll start right now."
