28. Accident

Willa said to Steven.

"Tell mama that you're coming back to live for me again, because you know very well that I lost my mind, if I lose you, tell Steven's mama."

Then Willa said to Steven with a loud cry.

"Please Steven, don't do this to me. You're slowly killing me for staying silent like this."

But Steven kept quiet and biting his lips while looking down with his sad face.

Then Willa fell down and held Steven's clothes with both hands. Willa then shook Steven's body very hard and shouted loudly and also cried.

"Look at me Steven! Why do you keep looking down and bite your lips like that. Look into my eyes and tell me the truth."

Then Willa cried even louder and said to Steven.

"Don't tell me that what mom said is true."

Willa shouted even louder.

"My answer is Steven, you're driving me crazy for being silent like this."

Willa shouted again.

"Steven answered my question. Is my question really that hard for you?"

Then Willa's mother said to Steven.

"Why do you keep quiet. Tell him the truth."

Then Steven said to Willa in a voice that shook with himself continuing to look downwards.

"I'm not your husband."

At that time Willa felt a knife stuck in his heart. Then she stopped crying and held her chest hard because of the pain her mother and Steven were giving with what they said.

Mama Willa said to Steven.

"Say that I am the one who came to you and asked you to help him. Tell him you've got a fiancee and you'll marry him after two weeks."

Mama Willa said to Steven.

"Tell him that I've put my trust in you and you think that you're a trustworthy person. But I was wrong for thinking that."

"Tell him that he has to get up before it's too late. Tell him he has to get up before you marry that woman or he'll lose his mind again." Willa's mom said to Steven.

"As for Steven, he has to face reality now." Mama Willa said again.

Willa stood at the gate of Steven's villa hearing his mother's words without saying anything as if all those words had been erased in his mind. Willa was no longer crying, Willa's tears had dried up. He just stood up and opened his eyes wide in shock as if his heart had been petrified.

On the other hand Steven spoke to himself still looking down with a sad face and felt a great pain in his heart.

Steven kept staring down and still talking to himself with his eyes filled with tears and pain in his heart.

'Willa, I love you as much as you love me. Every part of me screams out loud that I love you. You love me because you think I'm your husband. But I love you because of yourself and now that you've made me drown in your love, you're going to leave me because I'm not the man who should have accepted all these feelings from you.

'It's a punishment for me for expecting something that wasn't for me in the first place. Oh my God, how painful it is to lose a soulmate because of this. Oh my God, what should I do.'

'What Willa said to me hurt me so much because it made me feel that I was the one who caused all that pain to her. Because if I hadn't played the role of her husband in the first place, she wouldn't have endured the pain. I made things harder for her. This guilty feeling slowly kills me.'

While Steven kept talking to himself, Willa started to step back as he continued to stare at his mama and Steven with an angry look and then he shouted out loud.

"You two lied to me. No. All that can't be true."

But Steven didn't notice Willa because he was busy with his own thoughts by looking down because he didn't have the courage to look at Willa's face and was talking to himself with his eyes which is full of tears.

After that, Willa started running away from the two of them with her seemingly crying self out loud.

As Willa began to run away from them in tears, Steven suddenly heard a voice from the high-speed car that came closer.

Steven immediately raised his head quickly to find where Willa was running quickly. And then, Willa is seen crossing the street where there is a police car chasing a large truck and the truck will hit Willa.

Steven shouted very loudly then he ran towards Willa.

"Willa.. watch out for trucks."

As Willa heard Steven's voice, she wiped her tears and turned her gaze to the side to look at the truck that Steven said. Then the truck hit him very hard.

The truck made Willa's body roll over because she was hit so hard that it bounced away to the side of the road.

Steven shouted very loudly.

"No...."

Steven's tears began to fall on his cheeks subconsciously and he continued to run towards Willa.

On the other hand Mama Willa also ran quickly towards the daughter of Willa and approached the daughter of Willa and closed her eyes with both hands in order not to let the little princess of Willa see the scenery that creepy one.

Steven quickly sat down on the sidewalk with his knees touching the pavement and lifted Willa's body into his arms which left his own body covered in blood.

Then Steven clasped Willa's hand and kissed Willa's palm gently and looked towards Willa's eyes with tears reminiscing in his eyes.

"No...no..."

Willa wiped Steven's tears and smiled at him and said to Steven.

"This is our destiny. We can't stop the world from turning. The world is like a wheel that keeps chasing us and will never stop. And by the way my death will be the best thing for both of us. You already have your new life. If I stay by your side, I will disturb your happiness and for me I will live like an undead without you by my side."
