40. Agree to Get Married

After that Steven said to Willa by hugging Willa and sitting on the bed.

"Sometimes the same thing happens to identical twins. I love you as much as he loves you...."

Then Steven again said to Willa with the same words, where it was said to Steven before when their story was just starting.

But what Willa did, he just stared at Steven in silence and just kept crying.

Then Steven took off his arms from Willa, then got up from the bed and knelt under the floor in front of Willa. He then held Willa's hand which was sitting on the bed, then looked into Willa's eyes so deeply. Steven then said to Willa with the same words that Willa had told him before at the beginning of their meeting.

"I am, after all, just a man kneeling before a woman, asking for her love. Ask him to live with me. I don't want any answers from you right now. I can wait for you forever. But I beg you to let me be by your side and live near you."

"If you don't let me do it, I can make sure to you that I'm going to die."

Willa then suddenly broke out of her silence and said to Steven by looking into Steven's eyes and wiping his own tears with his hands and saying, "I will never be able to marry you."

Steven looked surprised and stared at Willa sharply. Then Willa said to Steven again, "you already have a fiancee."

Steven looked at the floor, shook his head and bit his lips. Then she smiled because she knew that Willa also wanted her very much. But there was something in Willa's mind that made him think that he would never be able to get to her.

After that Steven looked back into Willa's eyes with himself still kneeling in front of Willa and holding Willa's right hand while Willa sat on the hospital bed.

"No, the engagement is over. Now you have no reason to reject me, do you?"

Willa looked so surprised and stared at Steven sharply. It lasted a while. After that Willa looked the other way, and did not look at Steven, then he said,

"If I fall in love with you, you'll always think that I just think of you as a replacement for your brother. So our relationship will never work."

Then Steven pulled Willa again closer to his face with his hand still holding Willa's right hand and then closer to Willa's face and looked at Willa with passion. Then he said to Willa, "come on, look me in the eye and say it again."

But Wila couldn't keep looking in Steven's eyes. So he turned his head towards the other side to look the other way instead of having to look at Steven's face.

Then Steven held Willa's chin in his other hand and forced Willa to look into her eyes as he said to Willa.

Willa's eyes suddenly wet as she said to Steven in a trembling voice.

"You might say that I'm crazy. But to me, you two are not different people. To me you are two copies of one of the people I love. Whatever the name, be it Dion or Steven, I don't care. Because you two are the same person to me. So I love each one of you as much as I love the other. If you can believe that, then I'll marry you after 11 days from now, but on one condition."

Steven looked bright and smiled. He then said to Willa, "I'll listen to you. What's your condition?"

Then Willa pressed her hand with her fingers very hard in shame as she told Steven....

"If you promise me that you will always be by my side and will never leave me."

After that Willa bit her lip and again said, "then I'll let you marry me after 11 days and make me yours."

Without a doubt and in a very romantic voice Steven said to Willa by getting closer to Willa and was about to kiss Willa.

"I promise you that as long as I live, I will never dare to leave your side. Trust me, there's no life for me if I stay away from you because you're my life."

Steven clenched Willa, then brought his lips closer to Willa's. But Willa put her fingers on Steven's lips quickly, to block Steven's kiss to him. Then he said...

"I always kissed you before, because I thought that we were a husband and wife. But from now onwards, there's no kiss until we're officially married."

Then Steven looked surprised and at the same time sadness appeared clearly on his face. And he said out loud, "it's all unfair. I'll spend 11 days without kissing you! It was a very long time. Those 11 days would pass forever to me and it would be very hard for me to do."

Suddenly all of them, Steven's parents, and Mama Willa in the room, even Willa himself laughed loudly and Mr. Adam then said to Steven as he laughed.
