16. Coincidence Or Not

Steven kept talking to himself.

'He said that I was the best and the best of all. He was wrong, I was the meanest and cruelest man ever. I'm the most selfish man ever.'

'I am not a human being. But what happens if it's the best or the worst. This is all out of my control. Every time I see him, I lose control of myself. My brain stopped to think. At such a time, only my heart goes towards him. But I have to hold myself back, I don't want to ruin him. He's been through a lot of bad things.'

Then Steven started changing his clothes.

Willa suddenly entered the room. When Willa saw Steven wearing his shirt, Willa held his chest and spoke to himself.

'I'm beating so fast. It's been a few years since I last saw him like this. I was so desperate to touch his chest that field, I was really desperate to feel the temperature of his warm body.'

Steven felt that Willa was staring at him as he put on his clothes. So he looked at Willa and said to himself.

Willa suddenly approached Steven and said, "let me help you wear your clothes."

"I'm almost done. Don't report yourself. Your hand still hurts from hitting those bars yesterday. You won't be able to tie a tie for me. I can do it myself." Steven tried to ban Willa.

"No, you can't. At least let me try." Reply Willa.

Willa holds Steven's tie to wear to him. Willa seemed to be trying hard to be able to put the tie.

"I told you. You won't be able to do it, your hands still hurt." Steven Said.

"No, please be patient. Let me do it." Willa's reply remained cool pairing the tie for Steven.

Steven spoke to himself again, as Willa was pairing a tie for him.

'Will he keep his promise? Can she keep that promise that she will keep her feelings in her heart and ignore all her feelings while with me? But everything seems so clear, that he really has trouble doing everything. Just look at her watery eyes.'

5 Minutes later...

Willa's done pairing ties for Steven. Then he pulled Steven's hand with his hand and held it then said, "come on Steven, I'm already so hungry."

Steven again spoke to himself as Willa pulled his hand to reach the dining room.

'This woman always amazed me. He was very strong, still trying to ignore his feelings and trying to keep his promise to me.'

The two of them then arrived at the dining room.

'Oh my God, now I am one hundred percent sure that this is not a coincidence. When she told me earlier, that she knew that using a massage would make me feel relaxed and better. I thought that it was just a coincidence, but after he had prepared my favorite meal, I was now convinced that this was not a coincidence. No one knows this except my mother and my mother have been dead for a very long time. This woman sometimes makes me believe that I am indeed her husband.'

"What's up Steven? Why are you staring at food like that? Don't you like it?" Ask Willa.

"It's not so, of course I like it." Answer Steven.

Willa was excited. He smiled then pulled the chair for Steven and said, "come on. If you really like it, I can feed you myself. So sit quietly and not your mouth."

Steven spoke to himself again as he sat in the chair and prepared to eat.

'I am very happy and sad at the same time. I'm so sad because I know that I'm gonna lose all this in a minute. I can feel the heat like this. My house became so warm after he came. He brings warmth to my life and this house.'

'I'm so happy because he reminds me of my mama when he takes care of me. I miss my mom very much. My mother left me when I was very young. Mama is the most affectionate person towards me and so is my concern.'

'Wait a minute, does Willa really remind me of my mother? If all these reasons were true that made her care for me, her excessive love for me, her excessive caring for me, is it all because I miss all the affection that my mom gave me when I lost my mom since I was a kid. So I want to get Willa's tenderness.'

Then Steven continued to shake his head as he continued to speak to himself.

'All of this is certainly not true, because from the first time our eyes met I felt so familiar with him. I felt sorry for him before, even I knew that he cared about me or loved me very much.'

Willa took a deep breath and said, "thank God. Can you open your mouth and let me feed you."

"Don't concern yourself. I can do it myself. You should let your hands rest." Steven Said..

"But I don't feel anything. I've told you before, that something like this doesn't hurt me. But you still don't want to believe me. So, do you want to open your mouth quickly? It's 08:00 in the morning." Reply Willa.

Steven opened his mouth and Willa started to feed herself with a big smile.

Steven returned Willa's smile and then went back to talking to himself.

'She looked adorable as she smiled.'
