6. Unsick

Suddenly Willa instantly fused with Steven's body. Willa curled her arms around Steven's neck and kissed Steven's eyes, then said,

"You can't imagine how much I miss these two eyes. Look, I'm dying to see your eyes, see how they look at me."

Willa brought her face closer to Steven's neck. He took a deep breath and again said, "please, I'm just begging you to let me smell your scent."

"You don't know how I'd really like to smell your body, to touch you, to see you. You can't imagine how much this affects me."

"There is such a deep pain lodged within me. I really hope that the pain will go a long way. So I tried so hard to cry and kept crying. But that feeling still can never go away, because my heart continues to cry. So I still can't let go of that pain."

"I feel that the world became so empty after your departure. So I have to try to feel better. But I find it all getting harder and harder for me to just breathe. I even feel like I'm suffocating."

Steven just stared, then said to himself, 'God help me. No one's choking here, except me. I can't hold out much longer with all this. The words he spoke made the iceberg melt. Please, stop.'

Willa said, "after all, I am just a woman standing in front of a man asking for love from him. Asking him to fill the heart of this pitiful woman. I don't want any answers from you right now. I can wait for you forever. But I beg you to let me stay near you."

"If you don't let me do it, I can make sure to you that I'll die soon. Last year, everything went by so sick that it seemed to me like forever. I couldn't endure this pain any longer, every minute passed like a year to me."

Steven looked very confused, he did not know what he should say or do. He just kept talking to himself and said, 'Please give me a moment of rest. If things continue like this, I will feel dizzy.'

Suddenly Steven looked at the floor that was already filled with blood. He really looked so surprised.

He immediately held Willa's hands together and said, "do you not feel any pain? Do you want to die?"

Willa said, "when you feel a great pain in yourself, something like this will be nothing to you. Do you think that this hurts? The pain inside me, it hurts so much more than this."

"You don't know how much I want to die in your arms, and I don't care what happens to me, as long as I'm around you. I don't care what I'm going through next, as long as I'm finally going to die between your arms. In your arms."

Suddenly Steven let go of Willa's hand, then put his hand in his own mouth, and again said to himself.

'Oh my God, are my eyes getting wet? This was the first time someone had made my tears come out. Then what should I do now?'

Suddenly Willa looked to her right and left and said, "why are all the officers and people here looking at me like that. And they seem to cry. I'm sure they must be planning something to take you away from me. That's why they feel sorry for me and cry when they know how much I love you."

As fast as lightning Willa hid behind Steven's body, curling his arms around Steven's chest from behind. Put his face on Steven's back and hook his two fingers tightly.

"I won't repeat the same mistake a second time again and let them take you away from me again. If they want to take you away, then they'll have to cut my fingers off one by one."

Steven tried to speak with great effort, "do you believe me?"

Willa said, "yes, of course I believe you."

Steven said, "listen to me. I promise you that I won't let anyone take me away from you. So, can you let me go, please."

Willa seemed confused, she was afraid and hesitant between letting go of Steven or not. In the end he decided to let go of Steven then by starting to release his fingers one by one slowly and then release his embrace from Steven's body.

Then Steven said, "let me take you to the hospital to treat your wounds."

Willa said, "no, I don't need to go to the hospital and I won't go anywhere but to your house with you."

"At least let the officers treat your wounds here, at the police station." Steven replies to try to persuade Willa to want to be treated for his injuries.

Willa nodded and said to Steven.

"I will not allow others of them to come near me, to coerce me and to take myself away from you. By the way, they won't be able to treat my injuries. I told you before that no one else can treat my wounds but you."

"All right, I gave up. I'll treat your own wounds." Steven said as he sighed.

Willa was so excited that she made him smile.

Then one of the police officers brought a p3k box and gave it to Steven. Then Steven began to treat the wound on Willa's hand.

While Willa himself smiled at Steven and said to him,

"You always have a miracle in your hands. I no longer feel any pain in my hand, after you hold my hand."

Steven was very tired and did not know what else to say. He had already gone through such a heavy thing and made it a lot of thought today. He had so much going on with him today that he had never experienced any of this before and he had no idea how to deal with it. All this happened to him in just 1 day.

So he said to Willa, "thank you, I hope your hands heal quickly. Now, let's go back home."
