37. Applying to Mama Steven

Suddenly Mr. Adam stood on his knees and hugged both of Ms. Anisa's legs and kissed her constantly as she said, "please Anisa, I beg you to grant me forgiveness from you."

Miss Anisa was so shocked and pulled her foot away from Mr. Adam's hand and walked back away from Mr. Adam as she said, "help Adam, in this way, you are hurting my heart even more. Please don't do this to me."

Then Bu Anisa stopped stepping back and remained silent for a while. He then raised his head upwards, closed his eyes with tears falling down his cheeks and at the same time he was breathing so heavily.

Miss Anisa then sighed again and again and suddenly she opened her eyes and said to Mr. Adam.

"Well Adam, I'll listen to you. I'll give you a chance to explain everything to me."

Mr. Adam looked bright and smiled because he knew that there was little hope for him.

At that moment Mr. Adam took a deep breath and started telling Ms. Anisa the whole story from beginning to end and Ms. Anisa listened to every word Mr. Adam said and opened her eyes so wide because I was so surprised.

Mr. Adam told all those stories and after that he said to Ms. Anisa, "at first I wanted to lie to you, but I fell in love with you."

Then Mr. Adam crawled closer to Ms. Anisa's feet and approached Ms. Anisa and said to her, "i've committed a great sin. But I know rightly, that your heart is far greater than the sin I commit."

"I know very well that you are the nicest person I have ever known. So I knelt before you begging forgiveness from you Anisa. I want to spend my whole life by your side. I promise you that if you forgive me, I will never, never again, leave you until death do us part."

Suddenly Ms. Anisa stopped crying and she said to Mr. Adam.

"Adam, I'm so confused. I don't know what to say."

Seeing this Steven began to step closer to his mother while she was still crying and said to her mother, "say that Mama will forgive Papa. Mama, please just once for me. Let's live happily together. Let us reunite with Mama. It was the first time in my life that I asked Mama for something. Will you let me down and refuse my request?"

Miss Anisa suddenly smiled and opened her arms wide to make Steven hug her.

Without saying anything Steven immediately dropped himself in the arms of the Mama hugged the Mama so tightly. Putting her chin on her shoulder and saying, "oh Mama, I can finally get something very important that I've always dreamed of and needed so much. This is the warmth of my biological mother. And so far I haven't been able to trust myself but God is Most Merciful."

Then Steven again said to his mother, "Mama please, I know that Papa made a mistake. But give Papa one more chance for me and I promise Mama, if Papa does anything wrong to Mama, I'm the one who'll punish Papa for Mama."

Then Miss Anisa hugged Steven even more tightly and said to Steven, "just for you my dear son, Mama will forgive him."

Then Steven looked happy and shouted very loudly, "yeahh... This is my very good mother."

After the Lord Adam heard that Miss Anisa had forgiven him, he stood up as if he was about to fly because he was full of happiness and suddenly laughed loudly like a child and said, "finally I can throw all the heavy weight on my back all this time."

After that Mr. Adam opened his arms wide and was about to hug Ms. Anisa. As she approached Bu Anisa and said, "thank you so much Anisa, I will never...."

"I'm the man who looks after Mama now. Now Papa must kneel before Mama and propose to Mama. And if Mama accepts Papa, then I'll think about whether I can give Papa a chance to marry Mama or not."

Sir Adam looked surprised and said to his son, "Steven what are you talking about? I don't understand?"

Then Steven said to his father. "Did Papa think that I would give my blessing to Papa so easily after what Papa did to Mama before? In the past Papa could do whatever Papa wanted to against Mama because Mama is a woman who is alone and does not have someone who supports her and defends her. But now I'm the man who will stand behind Mama, to protect Mama from everyone, whoever she is, even protect Mama from Papa though.."

Then Mr. Adam said to Steven sadly, "but my son, I am so old as to kneel before a woman to propose to him and ask him to marry me."

Then Steven kissed his mother on the forehead and then he hugged his mother and said to his mother.

"Don't be so sad Ma. Dad is too old to do that. So, she doesn't deserve Mama. Mama don't worry, I'll find the right husband for Mama as soon as possible."

So quickly Mr. Adam knelt down in front of Ms. Anisa and said to Steven, "well Steven I've knelt in front of your mama. Are you satisfied? Now, can you give him back to me?"

Steven shook his head violently in disagreement and then said, "does Papa think that I'm joking. I'm talking seriously. If Papa doesn't propose to Mama in a sweet way, I'll never give Mama back to Papa."

Then Mr. Adam said to Ms. Anisa in a soft, trembling voice, "An.... Anisa... do you want... me..... marry me?"

Miss Anisa was about to say, but Steven told her Papa first.

"Mama can't hear Papa's voice."

Then Steven looked at Mama while continuing to hug Mama and asked Mama.

"Did you listen to what Papa said?"

Miss Anisa was about to say something but Steven again said it first to her Papa.

"Look! Mama can't listen to Papa. So can Papa say that even louder, so that you can listen to Papa clearly."

Then Mr. Adam shouted very loudly.

"Will you marry me?"
