27. Not Willa's Husband

Steven finally finished his job and went to his company to finish some important things as he had told Willa before.

On the other hand, Willa was standing in front of Steven's company next to the car waiting for Steven's arrival until he was done with his job. Then Steven will return to her as soon as possible.

As Willa waited for Steven, a woman in charge of the dressing room approached Willa and said,

"Miss, you need to return this dress you're wearing as soon as possible. Everyone who works here can only borrow clothes from the dressing room, but they must return their clothes to the dressing room at the end of working hours."

Wila said to the woman, "I'm really sorry. I didn't know it was the rule. So I'm sorry, right now I'm going to go to the locker room and get it back immediately."

Willa quickly went to the dressing room to return the dress and used her driver's uniform again. Then he got back in the car and went back to waiting for Steven next to the car.

10 Minutes later.....

Steven looked out of the company very quickly. He ran to the car and said to Willa.

"I'm gonna miss my flight. It's 08:45 at night. There's only 45 minutes left until my scheduled flight arrives."

When Steven got in the car, he said to Willa.

"Hurry Willa! I beg you, I need to go to the villa first to change my clothes quickly, before I go to the airport."

As Steven sat in the back seat of the car and closed the door, Willa immediately drove the car towards the villa very quickly.

As they were on their way to the villa, Steven looked up at the clothes Willa was wearing.

Then he said with a surprised face to Willa, "Willa, why are you wearing the driver's uniform again? Where's that blue dress you were wearing?"

Willa said to Steven, "a woman in charge with the dressing room asked me to do it. He said that all workers should return the clothes they borrowed when working hours ended. I don't have any clothes to wear except this uniform. So I have to use it again."

"That stupid woman! Who asked him to do that? How could he treat you the same as the other workers? Why didn't you tell me that, when he asked you to do it? Didn't I give you my phone, so you can call me when you need something." Steven said with a face that looked so angry.

Willa smiled and said to Steven, "it's Steven, it's okay. It doesn't even bother me at all."

Steven sighed deeply and said, "when I get back, I'll fix everything for you Willa."

Willa was about to say something to Steven when she suddenly saw the figure of her mother and daughter standing in front of Steven's villa. Just then sadness emerged from Willa's face and and her tongue suddenly felt faint.

On the other hand, Steven spoke sadly to himself as he sat in the back seat and looked from the window at Willa's mama's face.

'Problem comes. The look I see now from his mother's face makes me one hundred percent sure that things will not end well. God help me.' Steven said inwardly.

As Willa stopped her car, Willa's mother quickly approached Willa and said angrily.

"What is this Willa? Do you work as a driver for him? Have you lost your mind? A woman like you who is the richest woman in our city working as a driver?"

Then mama Willa shouted loudly, "why? Tell me why? You don't need the money, you don't even need anything."

Mama Willa bit her lips in anger and was silent for a while.

Then he took a deep breath and said to Willa.

"I never wanted to tell you this, Willa, but you're the one who forced me to tell you this now." Mama Willa took a deep breath. "Willa, that man standing in front of you, is not your husband."

"If he's not my husband, then where is my husband?" Willa said with surprise.

At this moment Steven's eyes looked watery. His eyes looked downwards, he bit his lips sadly and said to himself.

'Oh my God, for a moment I believed that I was her husband. Even though she told me that my father had hurt me and my mother before. Really, it makes me feel pain from inside my heart. But I still hope that my papa will tell me that I am the same person as Willa's husband.'

Then Steven bit his lower lip again and continued talking to himself.

'Oh my God, help me. How am I supposed to deal with all this? How can I live without him after he became everything to me in my life.'

"Your husband died 4 years ago."

Willa laughed very loudly and she said to her mother.

"That's not true, mama lied to me."

"Sooner or later, you'll face the truth. So tell me, aren't you a civilized person. So, you're not gonna live in a foreign man's house. I just let you stay with him under one roof to calm you down, because I don't want your condition to get worse. But I was so wrong. Your condition is getting worse every day. So I decided I'd never let you be with that guy even for a second, never again." Mama Willa.

Willa said angrily to her mother.

"Do you want me to believe all that? I would never trust my mother and leave her. I will never leave my rightful husband.

"Mom why did you do all this to me? My mother always loved and appreciated my husband. So why is mom trying to get me away from her now. Tell me why is mom suddenly acting this weird?" Willa.

Then Willa's mother shouted very loudly.

"Willa, you need to wake up. Don't ever tell her husband again, you gotta remember that."

Mama Willa again said to her, "let me tell you slowly so you can believe. Your husband was murdered before your own eyes and he is now lying quietly in his grave."

Suddenly Willa put both hands in her ears and pressed her very hard as she shouted loudly, and cried so loudly then said to her mother.

"Stop mama don't ever say she's dead. I don't want to hear anything anymore."

Mama Willa said to Willa.

"Actually, deep inside you, you know very well that he's dead. So why do you keep denying and still rejecting the facts." Mama Willa said.

Then suddenly Willa recalled the image of her husband, Dion, inside her head as Dion held her wounded neck.

At that moment Willa shook his head to the right and to the left and he put both his hands on his face. He scratched his face very hard with his nails. He cried loudly falling on the ground with his knees and shouted very loudly.

"No, no, no, it's impossible. It's all not true, it's all not true."

Willa yelled again and kept shouting again and closed her eyes with both hands as if she did not want to see the events that were inside her head because she felt that if she closed her eyes with both hands then he would not be able to see the events that made his heart so hurt.

But all that was useless because the incident just kept coming to Willa's mind and made her heart feel so hurt.

Then Willa shouted and shook her head as if refusing and she said to herself.

'I will never accept this reality.'

Willa shouted loudly again.

"No Dion, no way, no way."

Suddenly, Willa stood up and approached Steven. Then he looked at Steven and spoke to him with a face so angry.

"Is that all right, Steven? Let's tell me that my mom lied. Tell him he's wrong. Tell him the truth. Tell him you're my husband. Tell me that none of this is true."

But Steven didn't say anything....

Then Willa laughed very loudly and at the same time she also cried so hard and said to Steven.

"please Steven. I beg you, tell mama that you're back to living for me again, because you know that I can never live without you."

But Steven again said nothing....
