Meeting with Julia

One afternoon, at the biggest bookstore in town. Adam was going down shelf by shelf, picking out the novel that was lined up before him.

He picked up a few novels by Johanna Lindsey, the author of his favorite novel, then walked over to the cashier to buy the novel.

" But Adam" a woman's voice called her name as she stood in line at the checkout.

" Hey.. Julia's? ", Adam greeted the woman who had called him.

" O Adam, how are you? Long time we did not see", the woman named Julia remembers the last time she met Mas Adam about three years ago when she was still working at the same hospital.

" Good news, how are you? ", asked Mas Adam to the woman who works as a pharmacist.

" I'm good too Mas, ohh yeah I heard Mas Adam resigned from Mas Adam's job. Why Mas?".

Adam just smiled, not wanting to answer the reason he stopped working.

" For a moment, I paid at the cashier first", it happened that it was Mas Adam's turn.

After finishing at the cashier Mas Adam came back to Julia.

" Our Adam, how about we chat while eating out", Julia pointed to a ready-to-eat restaurant located in front of the bookstore.

" Can ".

They both went to the restaurant and ordered drinks.

The woman named Julia was 27 years old, she had put her heart on Mas Adam at the beginning of their introduction. But after knowing Mas Adam already had a wife, he backed off regularly.

" How are Mas Adam's wife and children?", asked Julia to open the conversation.

" Hhmm, I'm divorced from my wife ".

" Oh, sorry Mas I don't know with it" said Julia a little surprised because she knew in the past Mas Adam was a loyal husband who loved his wife so much. So hearing the divorce from the man's mouth he could hardly believe it.

" It's okay, there's no need to apologize. How are you yourself? Is she married?".

Julia smiled shyly hearing Mas Adam ask that.

" Hehehe, not yet Mas. Nothing fits in the heart yet".

That afternoon they talked a lot of things, Julia like getting a fresh breeze when she knew the status of Mas Adam now who is still alone.

They also exchanged mobile numbers.

" When if there is time we meet again, Mas" said Julia when the afternoon chat was over and they decided to go home.

Mas Adam agreed, for him meeting with Julia this afternoon is normal. Just like meeting old friends, but not Julia. The woman again put hope in the man she once liked.

They then split up in the bookstore parking lot.

" See you later, Mas Adam", Julia waved her hand.

" Heart on the road" said Mas Adam to the petite woman.

During the conversation with Julia, Adam's mind was busy thinking about Dena. Ask in her heart what she is doing now. He remembered the novel he had bought, then took his cell phone and called Dena on his way home.

" Good afternoon Dena, what are you doing?".

" Morning Mas, I just got home from Mom's house. What's the matter, Mas?".

" I just got home from the bookstore, and I bought some novels. You must like it, do you want me to take him to your house now?", asked Mas Adam, hoping that Dena would accept it because she missed meeting him.

" May, I'll wait at home ".

He arrives at Dena's house greeted by Noah's voice who keeps calling him Papa.

Maybe a few months after Adrian's departure, for Noah Mas Adam is his papa. Because this man often invites him to play on weekends.

Adam gave Dena the novel.

" Thank you ".

" Oh yes Mas Adam already ate?", asked Dena when she remembered that she had brought a lot of food from Mother's house.

" Already, it just so happened that in the bookstore I met an old friend and we were chatting while eating at a nearby restaurant".

" Hmm, old friend?", asked Dena curiously.

" Yes, her name is Julia. He used to be a pharmacist at the hospital where I worked", Mas Adam replied casually and as is.

Hearing the name called Mas Adam was a woman, suddenly there was concern in Dena's heart. He was afraid that the woman who had met Mas Adam was a very special person to him, as a former lover might be.

" Is she beautiful?", the question just came out of Dena's mouth.

Adam laughed.

" Of course it's beautiful, it's a girl. If a man means he is handsome, hehehe", Mas Adam replied with a joke but immediately the look on Dena's face changed.

" How is this, Adam said she was beautiful. Did Adam put his heart on him?", asked Dena in heart.

" But I think you're prettier than her" Mas Adam continued, which made Dena blush in shame.

Before long Mas Adam said goodbye to go home, he felt bad for a long time in the house Dena with their status who is not who.

That night, Dena was made unable to sleep because she thought of a woman named Julia.

Somehow he was afraid that Adam would turn away from him. Selfishly not, he hangs on the man's feelings while he is afraid of losing love from him.

If only Dena knew, the woman named Julia was indeed intending to approach Mas Adam surely he would be more panicked.

But for Adam there was no other woman that he allowed into his heart except Dena.

Julia kept looking for a gap to get close to Mas Adam, she always sent out short message messages with her small attention span.

And Adam is a kind of friendly man, he always replies to messages sent by Julia. It makes the woman look forward to being close to herself.

Julia several times invited Mas Adam to meet, but the man did not seem too interested to get closer to Julia.

It's okay for him he's not who for Dena, but he never intended to turn away by looking for a new woman in his life.

And for the umpteenth time, Julia has not been desperate to get close to Mas Adam. One morning he sent a short message to Mas Adam, saying it was his birthday. He wanted to take Mas Adam to dinner to celebrate his birthday.

Adam felt bad if he refused, finally he fulfilled Julia's invitation to dinner together.

Julia is quite beautiful according to Mas Adam, but she is not interested at all. Maybe for Mas Adam, Julia already he considered as his sister considering his age far below Mas Adam.
