CHAPTER 99. MIKO VS REYNARD

The other person listening to their conversation must be thinking the same thing. But how could that be? What the fuck? When Reynard said that he was going to Liona's house for dinner, she looked very calm as if it was normal for her to eat at home. Goddamnit! Miko grew increasingly frustrated after hearing Delvin's reply, she felt the heartache of an arrow piercing through her heart.

“Liona is mine.” she said in a displeased voice.

Delvin smiled cynically while patting his nephew's shoulder while comforting, “Poor child, just face the reality in front of your eyes. Liona told you that you two broke up.”

“Yes he did ask for a break up but I disagree. So she's still my girlfriend now.”

“Ckckckck. Even if you two haven't broken up, Reyard is your rival now. The heaviest competition. Are you sure you can win in love with your uncle?”

“Yes I'm sure. I will never give up.” Miko replied in annoyance.

Delvin sighed feeling sorry for his nephew.’You silly boy! You wait and see. You're going to lose a lot!’

Since Miko was unwilling to give up, she rushed into the kitchen to help Liona. “Liona, let me come help you.”

“Good.”

“What should I do?”ask Miko.

“Take chives in refrigerator then clean and cut into pieces.”

“Alright.’ Miko said. ‘Ah just cut the chives is easy.’ thought.

As if receiving a very important state assignment, Miko opened the refrigerator door with a serious face. For a moment he was astonished because he did not know what kind of leek shape. The refrigerator was full of various kinds of vegetables and fruits. There was a handful of leeks, leaves and chives.Miko looked at the vegetables in front of her eyes and tried to study for quite a long time. But he still couldn't identify the chives.

Miko wanted to ask Liona but she was afraid of being laughed at, secretly she pulled out her phone and searched for a picture of chives on the internet. Finally he found information about the chives. Miko breathed a sigh of relief then she quickly took the chives from the refrigerator. But he was also confused. ‘What the fuck? How do I clean this leek?’ Do I have to cut the leaves and keep the white parts? Or a bit?’

While humming he began to separate the green part of the chives from the white part. But he did not throw the dry part at the end of the leaf. He threw all the white pieces into the trash and rushed to give the chopped chives to Liona happily. He acted as if he was offering Liona a treasure. “I'm done.”

He was satisfied and waited for the compliment from the woman. ‘I've done a great job. Come on Liona praise me, praise me.’ she murmured to herself.

“What is this? Where's the white part?” asked Liona confused.

Miko pointed at the trash. Liona looked at the leek stem in the trash and saw the chopped chives in Miko's hand. Liona could only complain of being annoyed in her heart.

Reynard who saw the evasive sight immediately took the chives from Miko's hand and threw away the dried leaves, washing them under the tap. Miko was silent to see what her uncle was doing. He lost to his uncle in the first round. After straining some groceries and breaking two didpaur plates, Liona could no longer stand kicking Miko out of the kitchen.

“Liona! Give me one more chance. I can learn.”

“Before you can learn to cook, this kitchen has been destroyed first by you. Go out there! Just wait until dinner is served.”

Having no other choice, Miko walked out of the kitchen with a sullen face. Delvin who was sitting in the living room patted his thighs and laughed out loud.

Miko who was upset to see the reaction of her uncle who seemed to mock her was only silent/He turned to see Elvano and Felicia who were playing in one corner of the room. The two children played seriously, Miko stepped closer and squatted beside them. She throws a sweet smile, “Felicia, Elvano what are you doing?”

“We again play the rubik cube.” Felicia replied while raising her head. “Kak Miko, do you want to play with us?”

“Ya, of course.” replied Miko happy. Miko took the rubik cube from Felicia's hand,”This rubik cube looks very difficult. Take a look at this, the color of each side is mixed. But I'll fix and restore each side of the cubenot just one color.”

Felicia looked at her cousin with a hopeful look. Whereas Elvano only glanced at Miko indifferently, to him the man looked foolish. Ha ha!
