CHAPTER 41. THE WAR BEGINS

It's been an hour since Delvin called Reynard.  The man postponed the meeting and returned to Wilfred Media, the weather that day was a little hot from yesterday but Reynard entered the room with an icy and hostile gaze.  He stared at the ten cardboard boxes on the floor with the look of his ice-cold face.  He read the information of the sender, his face immediately pouted.

“Does Liona have a male fan, sister or maybe ex-boyfriend?” delvin asked as he followed his brother's steps. “Sorry, Brother. My words are nonsense, you don't care, yeah. But Liona is your lover how could she still be able to receive gifts from other men.”

Reynard ignored Delvin's words, his face grew grim and he remembered his conversation with Liona a few days ago. Liona says she loves Reynard and is officially his lover but asks not to rush into marriage. That made Reynard's face change.  He pouted and walked away from the place.  Delvin tried to run after his brother. “Where are you going?”

“Four filming!” sahut Reynard ketus.

While filming, Liona was in the dressing room to change her costume and apply makeup.  There were several seats in the room and all were filled except for the last seat.  All the main cast members are inside for the lineup, while the supporting cast is waiting for their turn.  Seeing that there was an empty chair Liona was walking and was about to sit down, until a voice stopped her. “Stop!”

The locker room door opened violently.  Aurora and her assistant walked in.  She wears a short white dress on her knees, featuring her curves, 7cm high heels making her look towering.  Aurora raised her eyebrows and sat down in the remaining seat.  Both hands folded in front of the chest with a sharp look at Liona “You newcomer here, you should respect a senior like me. Senior should always take precedence, so you have to stand in the corner there waiting for your turn.” he said as his index finger pointed towards the corner of the room.

Aurora is a beautiful and famous artist.  No one dared to fight him because it had a bad impact on them. It was only Kiara who first dared to challenge him. Everyone was silent, no one dared to speak.  “Why are you still standing there? Go far! I'm sick of seeing your face here!”

Liona had seen a lot of drama among the actresses, she remembered about what made Aurora angry at her, but Liona would not let anyone bully her for no apparent reason. Liona is a woman who is easy to talk to well but can't be bullied.  Hearing all of Aurora's ravings, made Liona even more disgusted and indifferent.

“Sorry, you asked me out? I don't want to! This is a room for everyone, not just for you so you have no right to kick anyone out of here! Or do you want to show me what senior attitude is supposed to be?” liona taunts.  Aurora got angry and smacked her hand into the table while cursing Liona.

“Just die you cheap woman! Perig to hell! Who do you think you are? How dare you talk to me like that! You don't deserve to be here, you think because of your beauty you can become an idol and rule over everyone? Remember that! You will be quickly replaced with another more beautiful actress in a matter of hours.”

Liona smiled elegantly and said “Thank you for praising my beauty, maybe because I'm beautiful you feel intimidated! If you are a good artist and have morals, you will not oppress other artists.  And I don't like that type of person. Take care of your attitude because when you know who I am, then you will beg my leg not to kick you.” said Liona ketus, maybe it's time people know about my relationship with Reynard, Reynard, maybe that way I'll be safe, he thought.

Aurora's eyes widened to hear Liona's flat, firm speech full of emphasis. Aurora got up and glared at Liona “ How dare you talk like that! Who do you think you are, hu?”

“You really want to know who I am? Be patient, soon you will know and if that time comes do not blame me if your career as an artist will end,” Liona said as she flicked her finger in front of Aurora's face.

“Oh, yes. Don't get angry often. Later wrinkles on your face more visible, you will no longer sell as an artist.  Asking you to go to Korea for plastic surgery.  If the plastic is less, in my house a lot of plastic trash matches your face!” liona's shout made Aurora gaped in disbelief if the woman had a sharp tongue. “If you want, I can recommend anti-wrinkle cream, it definitely helps to make you look young!”

Liona made fun of the older-looking Aurora.  He felt humiliated and Aurora felt unwelcome. Instead of stopping, Liona was getting hotter

“Ck...ck. Try to pay attention to your large pores and a lot of comedy, slowly your beautiful face will definitely be destroyed, that's why you envy my paripurn beauty.” gruntily stare at the cynical Aurora. “Your life is still twenty years old, but it has looked like forty years!”

“Bad you!” Aurora goes on a rampage and attacks Liona. The woman had predicted this, she dodged, and Aurora's hand hit the wall making her grimace in pain.

“Ups! Hurt huh?

“Damn you Liona! I'm twenty-eight years old, you want to say I'm forty!”

“Liona j*lang! I'll kick your ass!” Aurora was about to attack Liona who was standing near the door to coincide with it opening.

“How dare you talk like that to my lover!” a baritone voice screamed from the door. Instantly all eyes looked and were shocked, a hue of fear appeared on the faces of everyone in the room. Reynard entered the room and immediately hugged Liona. “This woman is my future wife! If anyone dares to insult or gossip about it, I make sure that person will be ruined!” Reynard's hand hugged Liona's waist while looking at her lovingly. Liona smiled and then her hand touched Reynard's face.

“What are you doing here, baby?” ask Liona gently while pretending to be friendly. Liona's actions made Reynard happy and hugged her.

“I just want to see if you're okay, baby. I'll have them make a special room for you.”

Liona simply nodded, a sweet smile not separated from her face. The room was silent no one dared to make a sound and Aurora was increasingly unacceptable because Liona got a rich man like Reynard but she could not act rashly because Reynard was a powerful person who could destroying anyone.

“Come out for a minute. I want to talk to you.” said Reynard hugging Liona's waist and pulling her out of the dressing room.  After they died, a sigh of relief was heard in the room.

“Oh. Lucky for Liona to be her lover.”

“Alaaa...the most she sells body!”.sambar Aurora was still envious.

“I've known Mr. Reynard never been close to anyone. Did you hear about tomorrow's press conference? Surely Mr. Reynard wants to announce about their love relationship.” said one of the makeup artists.

Aurora stomped her feet full of anger. He lost heavily to Liona the newcomer. Aurora had been eyeing rich men to be her lover but never lucky, she could only be a mistress to this day.

“Rey! What's the matter you came suddenly?” liona asked after they were in one of the empty rooms not far from the dressing room.

“I just want to see you. May I know who sent you those gifts?” asked Reynard to try to speak as gently as possible so as not to offend Liona.

“Don't mind about those gifts. I'll return it to the sender once I know who it is. I have no relationship with anyone.” he explained.

“Do you talk like this for fear of paying a fine?” Reynard smilingly looked at Liona's agitated face like a child caught stealing food alone.

“No! That's not Rey! I don't know who the sender is.”

“Alright, darling. This room is empty, I'll have them prepare this room for you. I don't want anyone else to insult you.”

“Ta--but.”

“Sssstttt......I don't want to hear anything. Don't reject me, ok?” reynard's hand rubbed Liona's smooth cheek which answered her with a nod of the head.
