CHAPTER 84. TEASE LIONA

If in Aurora's apartment there was a severe storm, much different from the Wilfred family residence. The calm and peaceful atmosphere was decorated with the joking laughter of two boys who always liven up the atmosphere.

In the kitchen of Reynard's house, a pair of lovers who looked busy struggling with groceries. Reynard's face looked serious as he placed the washed vegetables on the cutting board. Liona was silent after hearing Reynard's explanation. Car wreck? It really happened at the right time!

“Actually the man deserves punishment but it seems violence is the best way to deal with a bastard man like him. I hope this incident makes him kapok.” Liona said.

“Do you know that Reno will not get a penny after divorce?”

“Great wah! Miss Marsya really inspired the women out there who have betrayed her partner.” Liona smiled feeling that Reno was really punished by her actions. After all Marsya only defended what was rightfully his from the start. The man had nothing before.

Suddenly Reynard dragged Liona out of her daydream, his big hand grabbing onto Liona's face. The touch made Liona nervous. “Hem...what's up?”

Reynard tucked a strand of hair behind Liona's ear. The man's fingertips touched Liona's face, and closed his eyes, enjoying every touch the man gave him to his spine.

Liona's heart rate is getting tighter and less complicated. He felt something was different with Reynard's attitude today. Usually the man had a scary and cold expression on his face all day but lately Reynard's facial expression had changed. He still kept his distance with others but did not make others feel afraid anymore.

Most importantly, he no longer avoided physical contact with others. It has been a few days that Reynard always touches Liona's hair or head and caresses her face but Liona is still not used to her attitude. Right now he was feeling very nervous about Reynard's treatment of her. “Are you okay?”

“Yes, I'm good. Why are you asking? Is something wrong?”

“Hem...I feel lately you are a little..eh....begini....you are a little different than usual.”.

“Really, darling?” asked Reynard in the ear Liona deliberately teased him by exhaling right in his ear made Liona's body shake.

The man's voice sounded very soft and alluring making Liona's heart pounding. ‘Yeah why is she getting teased?’ he murmured in the heart.

‘Ah....happened again. Really happened again.’ Sometimes Liona wonders if Reynard realizes that her every touch and sweet treatment affects Liona. That guy was teasing her. And Liona always couldn't control herself whenever the man touched her gently.

Unknowingly, Liona touched her forehead and felt her body temperature was still normal.  Reynard pulled Liona's hand and clasped it in her chest. The man's palm felt warm and the feeling was channeled throughout Liona's body. He tried to pull his hand but Reynard kept holding it tight.

“You.....emmm...” Liona stutters.

“What do you want to say, honey?”

“It...” Liona felt a little dizzy from Reynard's touch.

“Say! You can tell me anything.”, Reynard said in a soft voice.

“Thank you so much for helping me.” said Liona with a blushing face. “If it wasn't for your help I would definitely be caught in this mess. Thank you for everything you give.”

“And what else?” muttered Liona confused.

“Dan….? Reynard's tone began to sound impatient.

Well, especially now? Liona tried to rack her brain but could think of nothing more. Confused he said. “Moreover what should I say?”

Reynard's jaw clenched tightly. “You said you wanted to thank me. Is this how you thank me? Just a few sentences and done?”

Liona was silent in confusion for a few minutes finally she spoke in a low voice but still sounded clear. “You know there is no saying, do everything well and never expect anything in return then you will never be disappointed.”.

“It's just a saying not everyone can help selflessly.” Reynard deliberately walked closer to Liona slowly making the woman's throat suddenly cringed and her heart again beat fast. As Reynard approached, Liona retreated until her back touched the wall.

She could not dodge anymore now and Reynard drew closer while looking at her, Liona getting immersed in the dark eye charm of the man who seemed to imprison her soul unable to escape. Then Reynard leaned his body forward.

Closing the distance between them. Brak! Suddenly the kitchen door opened from the outside and Liona immediately pushed Reynard away. “Ma-excuse me madam.” said the waiter while lowering his face then closing back the kitchen door.

Liona felt so embarrassed, she rushed towards the stove and dared not look Reynard in the eyes, her heart pounding even more.

‘Yes God…..Reynard this is getting more and more so. Fortunately the waiter came.’ Unknowingly Liona stirred the food carelessly and almost spilled the contents of the floor pot. ‘Aduh....what should I do now?’ Every time Reynard approached her, she would melt and fall into a puddle of Reynard's charm and passion, especially when Reynard looked at her with those dark, enchanting eyes.

Liona always loses control of herself, while Reynard more and more awkward teasing and seducing Liona. He never wanted to let go of that when he was in his arms. Liona held onto her chest trying to calm herself down, sweat dripping her and then she wiped it off with the back of her hand.

Meanwhile at the Vena residence, he was in a great rage after reading the news of the Aurora boycott. “Stupid basis! You idiot! You useless woman! He should have brought down Liona instead of him destroying his own career!”

“Vena what should we do now?” ask assistant.

“You're still asking what should I do? Time you don't know? I didn't think you were that stupid of that woman, either. Quickly you make an apology statement publicly.” said Vena with a mouth closed.

“You can use my social media account, just say that we misunderstood about Liona. Tell me that my social media account was hacked and don't forget to post an apology that is sad and touching.”

“Oh yes...create the apology sentence that convinces the wider community to see my good intentions. Make sure the apology looks sincere.” said Vena again.

Shima also nodded. “Liona is truly a lucky woman, she should have been devastated by all of those scandals. But we have no other choice now.”

This was all because Aurora the idiot who had destroyed all of Vena's plans, after posting an apology the assistant turned to Vena.
