LOVE AND REVENGE LIONA

CHAPTER 2. I'M STILL ALIVE

Slowly the sunlight emanated from between the leaves.  Liona squirmed her body which felt very sick and weak.  Slowly his eyes opened and widened in shock at the sight that his body was on the branch of a tree, he faintly heard like the sound of running water but it seemed like the water was rushing.  As soon as he moved, instantly his hand held tightly to the tree branch.  His vision nar see below it flowing a swift and steep river.  Fear enveloped him, he raised his head to see his whereabouts. What he saw was a precipitous abyss, it would be difficult to crawl up. Glanced to the side, there are bags and suitcases that are also stuck in the roots of the tree. The girl heaved a sigh of relief, at least her diploma survived but how did it get out of there?

“There's no way I'm dropping into that river. The water is very heavy, there must be a lot of rocks on the bottom of the river, maybe my head broke. I have to crawl up.  What about my bags and suitcases? Without a second thought he grabbed his bag, it worked! Liona draped her bag around her neck and then tried to grab the suitcase, wanting to take her diploma and other important documents.  “There's no way I'm carrying that suitcase up, it's too heavy.” he muttered.

Finally he tried to crawl and grab the stuck suitcase, his thin body making it easier for Liona to hang on the tree roots.  He opened the suitcase and took out the important documents and put them in his sling. Luckily the wallet is in a sling bag that has a zipper so it is safe.  With her thin body she crawled slowly by holding the roots of the tree, tired and her hands scratched a few times but the girl did not want to give up, she had to survive and be able to get out of there.

With struggle and determination Liina finally managed to reach the edge of the abyss, reluctant to look down and afraid of falling again the girl quickly reached the edge of the abyss and pushed her body up.  Congrats! He was already on the side of the cobblestone road, Liona was circulating around the sight of no life, only the road was unpaved like a road in the far side of the village, but there were only trees around.  Liona decided to walk despite being very tired.

“Yes, God help this servant of yours. I don't know where to go.  Please lead me out of here.” he said non-stop praying.  Finally, he saw a small river with clear water.  Thirst made him not care, he stepped into a small river and cupped water with his hands and drank it. “Ahh...fresh once this mountain water.”

"Where is this actually? Why is there no one. The road is also like a street in the corners that are rarely visited by people. Let me follow this path down the hill, hopefully in the middle of the road I meet someone.

Liona remembered in her bag that she had put some bread in. He took out a biscuit from inside his bag, enough to prop up his stomach temporarily until he could get out of the place.  The girl continued walking until she finally arrived at a not so lush area covered in trees, sunlight touching her skin.

But it was as if he had heard the sound of crying.  When the feathers stood up, hi...in the middle of the forest like this there was the sound of baby crying? Liona was terrified but it was still daytime, there could be no ghosts in broad daylight she thought.  ‘Maybe there is a resident house around here.” He rushed down the cobblestone path looking for the direction of the sound, the further along the sound of crying became clearer until he saw a pile of clothes and the sound of crying seemed to come from there.  Liona approached and saw a baby basket. 

“I can't leave this baby here.  What if a wild beast were to prey on him later? This baby is very handsome, from his clothes it looks like this baby is a rich man's child.” But Liona did not care much about him taking the baby who was still in the hipseat sling, Liona paired her hipseat.  The baby looked at her and did not cry at all anymore as if understanding that Liona was her guardian angel.  “Don't cry baby.  What's your name?”

Looks like I have to name this baby “What if I give you the name Elvano Danish? Elvano means Son of God's gift and Danish means strong and wise.  That name suits you ELVANO DANISH! You are a gift from God to me today. May you grow up to be a strong and wise child.” Liona kissed the baby's forehead gently.

“I don't know what your plan is, God. My life has been very ruined but you gave me this baby boy gift, I promise I will take care of him, this baby is a blessing from You.” I don't know why Liona felt so fond of the newly found baby boy.  Whoever the baby's parents are, must be currently frantically looking for him.  I don't know who or why the baby was there.

There was sadness and happiness in Liona's heart back then, sorrow for the betrayal of her lover and younger sister, happy that she found a very handsome baby boy.  After walking far enough he finally came out of the forest area, I have to get out far away from this place and from this city. Liona walked out of the place with a beautiful view and arrived at the paved road.  Not long ago he walked down the streets along the mountain road. Walking up to his feet was numb but strangely the baby boy fell asleep in his carrier.

“I must live! I have to live well with this baby! I can't stay on this mountain forever and live like a vengeful ghost.  I have to go back to the city and face a life that changed drastically.” Liona said to herself, she looked at the face of the handsome baby boy who was asleep peacefully, and she was still asleep, encouraging Liona to persevere and fight.

The sun started to sink, there were several cars passing through the place, Liona looked messy and made her afraid to stop the passing car.  She was worried that people would think of her as a crazy woman.  Several passing cars glanced at her with shocked gazes, none of the cars would stop to help Liona. Perhaps in their eyes, I was a beggar, a refugee or even a madman who lost his mind and did not deserve to be helped even though they saw Liona holding a baby. Finally he took a risky opportunity by standing at the corner of the mountain wall waiting for the arrival of a perfect opportunity.  As soon as Liona saw a beam of light, she immediately rushed to the middle of the road without a second thought and spread out her hands. Whatever happens, I'm ready!
