CHAPTER 67. VEIN WOUNDED

Filming resumed, Vena and Liona are now on the bridge of a small river, shooting runs smoothly. The second scene was completed without any more drama. For the next scene they wait until the filming of another artist is complete.  Liona sat down while reading the script, before long she pulled out the phone from the bag and contacted Reynard.

“Halo.”

“Hei Rey! Hem...lt's thank you for sending me lunch.”

“Do you like your lunch, baby?”

“Yes, I really like. Rey, I've got lunch on set. Tomorrow do not have to make the waiter deliver my lunch, yes.” said Liona felt bad.

“You must eat healthy food, your food is specially made by the chef in my house. You work hard and I don't want you to be sick.” Reynard said.

“Don't worry about me Rey. I can eat my lunch rations here, they also prepare healthy meals for all the crew. I just feel bad about getting preferential treatment.”

“You deserve it Liona! You're the future Miss Wilfred. There are two kids who need you at home. Don't argue ok. I did it all for you.”

“Alright, Rey. It's up to you.” Liona knows very well the character of Reynard who can not be denied and likes to rule. The two chatted for a while and after Reynard ended the conversation somehow Liona's heart felt uneasy.

The filming resumed with scenes of Vena and Liona fighting on the river bank.  Liona was even more cautious because in this scene the two of them would make physical contact.

Shooting scenes of Vena coming with her servant approaching Liona who was sitting on the river bank while reading a book. Vena's cunning wits reappear to hurt Liona in this session.  When the scene of the two having a big fight, Vena's hand pulls Liona but when viewed from the other side it looks as if Liona is pulling Vein's hand. Sontak Vena splashed into the river, but fateful for Vena the plan is not that smooth.  When he fell he could not escape from a large rock until his head hit the stone and his body slowly entered the river.

“Cut! Help her! Quickly save him!” shouted the crew who ran and jumped into the river to help Vena.  The startled Liona covered her mouth with her hands and eyes glaring. She did not expect Vena would act that stupid but Liona recalled how Vein stabbed her own stomach to slander Liona in the past making the girl snort.

 The river water was mixed with blood and Vena's body slowly sank. A crew quickly jumped into the river, lifting the unconscious Veins.

“Quickly take him to the hospital.” chanted director Reiki. “Liona....why can this happen?”.

“I don't know, suddenly he fell down by himself.” Liona replied indifferently. Liona's face paled looking at the wound on Vein's head.

The location of the shoot suddenly splashed with the fall of Vena into the river and his head was hit by a large rock until it bled and fainted. One of the crew contacted the closest person to Vena, his lover.  Seth who got the news about Vein was instantly emotional, both of his hands clenched and hurriedly left his office towards the set.

While in the Wilfred Group office building, precisely in the workspace Reynard looks he is focusing on the files that are stacked on his desk.  When Bastian walked into his room, the man didn't even notice.

“Are you going to attend a meeting this afternoon with a client from Sweden?” ask Bastian.

“Yes. Please prepare all the documents. You follow me later after your work is done.” said Reynard.

“Good. What about Felicia and Elvano? Didn't you promise today to pick them up at school?” ask Bastian again reminding.

“Good. I'll tell the driver.” and then Bastian comes out. An hour later Reynard tidied up all the documents he had signed, and left his office. He planned to pick up Liona and bring her dinner together. When Reynard was in the elevator his phone rang “Halo.”

“Sorry Sir. Mr.'s car has a little problem, the car can't turn on. Now still serviced.”

“Why not tell from earlier? I'm in a hurry to meet clients now!” reynard growled while glancing at his watch.

“I'm sorry, Sir. Suddenly the car broke down while I was heading to Mr.”'s office the driver said.

“You call Liona driver now! Tell me to come as soon as possible! Don't forget, you have to pick up the kids from school. Go home and use another car to pick up the kids."

“Alright Sir. Again I'm sorry.”

“Hem...!”

The driver assigned to Liona immediately picked Reynard up to his office. The black Maybach car was sliding but the situation of the road was a bit jammed making the driver take an alternative path to get to the destination quickly.

Meanwhile the fainting Vein was rushed to a private hospital, Vena is still in the operating room to get the doctor's treatment. Soon Seth arrives at the hospital and runs to the operating room where Veins are being treated. Several crew and directors stood in front of the room.  Seth's face gripped with anger. “How is Vein?” ask the director of Reiki.

“He's still in surgery. His head is injured.” replied Reiki.

“What really happened? Why would he get hurt?” seth was angry.

“Sorry Mr. Seth. Earlier during filming, Vena accidentally slipped and fell into the river and hit her head on a rock and then she fainted.”, the director explained.

“Unintentionally? You are so irresponsible!” furious Seth.

“True Mr. Seth. It's just an accidental accident, if you don't believe please see the cctv. Events like this are inevitable, aren't they. Sometimes accidents happen at work.” is obviously a crew that is not happy to see the attitude of Seth who snapped at the Reiki director.

However, none of the crew liked Vena, let alone remember the incident of abuse that was deliberately done by Vena during the previous shoot. If it wasn't for Seth's support, there's no way Vena could have gotten a role in that movie.

“How dare you talk? Remember carefully, if until Vena why-why then you will receive the consequences!” shout Seth.

“Mr Seth, we'd better not fight in the hospital, we'll just pray that Vena's okay. This incident is nobody's fault. Vena was filming with Liona but accidentally Vein slipped and fell into the river.  How can you blame others for this?” the director again.

 "I'm sure it must have been the woman. Where's Liona now?"

"He's still in the filming location. He was also shocked when Vena fell into the river" said a crew member.

"Alaaa..it's bullshit! You're still defending that selfless woman!" seth shouted while clenching his hands.
