THE CHAPTER 20

The atmosphere of The Star cafe is still the same as yesterday. Many are filled with visitors who are dominated by young people. Almost all tables are filled. And only a few desks look deserted. The sound of pop music that is heard makes the atmosphere of the cafe more vibrant on a sunny morning. And raises its own spirit for visitors to welcome the morning.

I've been between one of the tables at The Star cafe. With Brother Fatha and Rain sitting on my right and left. They're facing each other. Rain with his confused face and Brother Fatha with his restless face. I just realized that the corner of Brother Fatha's lips melted. But he tried to cover it with powder.

"Face Brother why? How can I bruise that?" I asked while pointing at the bruised area.

Fatha also held the corner of her lips. "Oh, here. It's just a little accident. Ordinary sometimes Brother likes to be careless."

"Oh.. Next time you have to be careful, yes. Poor thing, his face is blue green with murky."

"Yes, Han." Said Brother Fatha.

We started to be quiet again for how many minutes. I was thinking how to start our goal.

My sister and I laughed because we said the same thing at the same time. I allowed Brother Fatha to speak first. Because after all here he must be responsible for his mistakes.

Brother Fatha began to look at Rain seriously. Her face showed that she was very nervous. I understand the situation now. It must be very strange if we suddenly apologize to someone who does not know what our fault is. Especially to someone we just met. Brother Fatha seemed to take a very deep breath and momentarily exhaled. I guess he'll start raising his voice.

"Rain's. I'm sorry." Said Brother Fatha while sticking his hand in front of Rain.

Rain looked very surprised and I was confused. He showed a very strange reaction when Brother Fatha asked to shake hands.

"Eh, wait a minute. I still don't understand what Fatha did. I don't think you're wrong with me." Rain was still surprised.

Fatha looked at me. I also understood that he was asking for my help.

"So.. We had a fight in the car." I paused for a second. "And that fight is because you're Rain." I said as I looked at Rain with embarrassment.

Rain looked confused and needed an explanation. He was still taking turns looking at me and Brother Fatha hoped we would provide a more detailed explanation.

"Anyways, we have faults with each other. And I hope you will forgive Brother Fatha, Rain."

I looked at Rain's face with hope. I hope he apologizes to Brother Fatha immediately so that my problems and Sister Fatha's are over.

"Yes. I must be sorry, though. Anyway I'm sure it's just a trivial matter." Rain said with a smile. Then he welcomed the hand of Brother Fatha.

I was glad to see them making friends so quickly. I hope that after this they can become close friends like the friendship between me and Rain and Brother Fatha. There's one more thing I almost forgot. That's my apology.

"Sister.." Call me.

"Yes. What's up, Han?" Brother Fatha turned towards me.

I bowed my head, "I'm sorry about yesterday. Sorry for being mad at you, sister."

Fatha rubbed my head with a smile. He brought his face closer to my face.

"Sister sorry, really. In part it is also wrong Sister because of the bottom of emotions. So we just forgive each other, yeah." Said Brother Fatha.

I also smiled and nodded.

"Yes already. As my apology, today I will take you for a walk wherever you like. You can choose anywhere you want." Brother Fatha said excitedly to us.

"Seriously, Brother?" Brother Fatha nodded. "Bahh.. Rain we'll take a free walk today. Where are we going, huh?"

I also try to think about the most fun place in Pekanbaru.

"Ah, how about we go watch! You really want to, Rain, watch the movie that Joaquin Phoenix played." Said Brother Fatha who looks excited.

"Oh, yes. Good thing you reminded me of Fath. I almost forgot that movie. Yes, come on!" Bring Rain.

Suddenly, my stomach was rumbling. I just realized that I haven't eaten for a dozen hours. And now my stomach really feels empty.

"We can have breakfast?" I asked Rain and Brother Fatha. They just smile and nod.

Since we passed the entrance until now we've been sitting, I just kept hugging Rain's arm. I told Rain that I was afraid of the dark. But, Rain kept scaring me with his strange tone.

I sat between Brother Fatha and Rain. Like a child, I did not release Rain's arm from my arms. Sometimes I lean on Rain's shoulder because I feel tired. In the midst of busy watching, also heard Rain and Brother Fatha chatting about the film. Sometimes they sound like they are joking with each other. They seem to get along quickly.

I woke up after Rain shook my arm. The atmosphere of cinema is very different. The room that was dark is now light. The cinema screen is no longer playing movie scenes. And everyone started to leave the room.

"Rain I overslept, huh?" I asked the new one fully aware.

"Yes, Han, you fell asleep." Fatha answered beside my left.

"I'm sorry, Brother. His intention was to watch even fall asleep."

"Yes. Doesn't matter. If you're sleepy, how else." Said Brother Fatha.

I smiled at Brother Fatha.

"Oh, yeah. How about we go to Transmart? You guys never been there?" Ask Brother Fatha.

"Ehm.. Ever, anyway. Take a walk, Rain. But we haven't had time to ride the game." I told Brother Fatha.

"Yes already. Then we'll go, yok!"

We were invited by Brother Fatha to play in one of the malls that were in trend at that time. We satisfied ourselves to play, take pictures, and enjoy the food around the Mall. Not to forget, we also bought snacks to take home. Brother Fatha also gave me a pink jellyfish doll from the doll machine he played. Not to be outdone, Rain also gave me an easy blue jellyfish doll. And that day I thought was a very nice day.

It's almost afternoon. The sky began to be orange. The atmosphere of the streets began to become crowded. And the ambient temperature starts to cool.

I just finished praying Ashar. When I realized that my two friends were nowhere to be seen. I also checked in the men's prayer room. But they are also invisible.

One notification came from Brother Fatha. He said that he and Rain were going to the shopping mall to buy something. And I was asked to wait for them at one of the McDonald's stores.

I waited for Brother Fatha and Rain while eating the food I just ordered. I ordered a burger, a box of fries, and a glass of Coca-Cola so I wouldn't get bored waiting for them. However, when the food started to run out they had not returned either.

I started to worry and panic. I started thinking no. However, I am sure that Brother Fatha and Rain will never leave me.

After almost half an hour of waiting, Brother Fatha came with a bunch of flowers as well as chocolates in her hands. I feel great because Brother Fatha is already here. My panic began to fall and accompanied by a sense of chest airiness.

"Sir Fatha from anywhere? Which rain?" I asked while looking at the situation around Brother Fatha.

There was no Rain anywhere. But I'm sure he's okay.

"Huh.."

Brother Fatha took my hand and took me up from the chair. I was shocked by what Fatha did. She looked at me with a sweet smile. I just froze and looked into Fatha's eyes. And look forward to what he will do next. Everyone around us started to look us in the eye. Various expressions could be seen from the corner of my eye.

"Hany. Will you be mine?" Say Brother Fatha softly.

My blood flow moved like lightning. My eyes were so shocked. I feel like my feet are not on the ground. And the sentence that Brother Fatha had just uttered echoed in my head.

Brother Fatha gave me chocolate and a bouquet. However, I still did not wake up and was still fixated in front of Brother Fatha. My heart is really beating fast.

"If Hany, accept this gift, then you assume Hany received Brother. But if Hany refuses Big Brother, please throw the flower into the trash can there."

I consciously took the gift from the hands of Brother Fatha. However, I do not merely accept it. I also gave an explanation.
