Being Strong On Your Own
Chapter 69: The Other Devil

The residents thanked the two while Grey said that it was queen Olivier who sent him here because that was his good name increasing.

"The other forces will definitely come here, I and Arina will have to go to the next place to defeat the other demons, then goodbye."

The two flew back leaving the residents bowing towards them.

With the direction of Via, they went to a gentle meadow. Arina thought where the demon Via meant and in an instant the answer appeared under her feet.

A jaw of a giant worm had slid towards him.

She opened her mouth wide, Arina took out her magic and instantly the mouth was covered in ice making her thrash and return to the ground.

"Bikin's just surprised."

"Do I have to help too?" grey asked, which was answered by the head.

"No, let me do it. I've been practicing for 10 years."

Grey chooses to agree to his wish and just watches away from the side as Arina begins to use explosive magic to afflict the entire surface of the ground.

The demon worm was invisible or to be honest he was able to hide in the ground.

"If that's what you want then I'll serve you."

Arina went into the earthen pit previously created by the demon, only waiting for a few moments for the explosion to occur that made the worm thrown into the air.

"It's not that it's a very bar-bar, sir."

"I think I agree with you too Via."

A pillar of fire had burned him until the worm vanished into dust, he was finished off before it could land on the ground again.

Both Grey and Via thought it was a merry death. The demons they were fighting were clearly different from each other in other words it was possible that the first demon was an evolved demon, Grey thought inwardly.

Arina propped up the stick on her shoulder as she said.

"Next demon."

He was more excited than he looked.

Undead King from the beginning thought that his demons would give humans fear unfortunately they were no stronger than him.

Four were successfully finished off and now only one more they have to defeat is a human-like demon hiding in a densely populated city.

Realizing both Grey and Arina's arrival, making her run immediately, she walks into an alley before being cornered.

"What do you want from me?" he was just a weak looking young man.

"This devil isn't what I thought, should we just let go?"

"There's no guarantee that he won't attack humans someday, it's unfortunate that we have to kill him."

Grey was about to step in before he found the family photo dropped by the young man.

"You live with them?"

"I don't know why you're after me, but I'm not doing anything bad."

His memory may have disappeared as it evolved.

"But you're a demon, too bad, but we have to kill you.. Grey please."

"Wait a minute, I want to live. I didn't do anything wrong."

This demon lives too close to humans, Grey can't guess if he's really good or evil.

"Grey."

The sharp sword tip pierced through the young man's body until blood spurted from his mouth.

"I'm sorry, but you were created from the core of the undead king, maybe now you don't feel evil but there's a chance it's happening to you too."

"If it's the best then, what can it do."

The young man's body collapsed to the side.

"It would be easier if he was really acting like a demon in general, Grey are you okay?"

"We're back"

Grey just walked by without saying anything more.
