The creature in front of the Grey resembles a heavily hairy human body, with a bull-like head often called Minotauros.
Shortly before Anabeth killed the monsters she had escaped from, now Grey himself will avenge his adventurer comrade.
"Wait for Grey, you'll seriously fight him on your own" Irena said, stopping him with the hand Grey let go of on his own.
"I can't ignore this thing."
Irena has lost her energy and now only she can do it alone, especially the training she did for today, he remembered how he trained his muscles every day to fight with powerful beings and now it is a testament to that.
Grey pulled his sword and walked a few steps forward, Minotauros doing the same except with a large axe whose handle resembled a spear.
He lowered his body, yelling with screeches before lunging forward, Grey swung his sword and it created an explosion of ground as the sword struck the Minotauros weapon directly.
Grey's body was thrown to the side until he tumbled over before combing the ground. Minotauros ran at him while swinging an axe from above.
Grey rolled over and the ax almost split his head, kicking Minotauros with both feet until the creature was slightly pushed back so Grey could have time to correct his position and prepare to return with his sword.
Whether he or the monster in front of him both knew each other well, Minotauros's one left eye had gone blind and it was Grey's hunt as he slaughtered his partner.
Grey took a gap back then to stab his eyes because that was what Minotauros harbored the same hatred shown by him.
The two wanted to break that hatred by killing each other.
It produced an ear-splitting sound along with sparks of fireworks that extended into the air. The only thing he could do now was to narrow the distance, the axe Minotauros used had a wide range like a spear if he could approach it at least his space would be limited. Assuming that he pushed his body closer while swinging his sword faster, faster and faster.
"Unbelievable, what is the ability of an iron-ranked person," Irena said, her group also stared at the same thing and from within the city residents began to appear to watch.
Some people lamented the fate of the people who had protected them, there were certainly some that they knew and included his family as well.
But this is the sadness that they cannot deny that they live in a border town and no one knows when they will die.
Grey pulls himself in with a swing to the front of Minotauros' face, he swiftly restrains it but the friction from his weapon makes him comb over Minotauros' shoulder until he is severely injured, the axe that was about to fall back tightened and Minotauros returned with a diagonal swing.
Grey felt a hot sensation from his body however much blood had flooded his legs, whether Minotauros or himself still standing with the strength they had.
Grey coughed painfully and blood came out from the crevices of the helmet he was wearing.
This was the final fight, at a distance of five meters both of them ran while crashing their swords before turning their backs on each other.
A momentary silence appeared between the two.
The axe and body of Minotauros were split in two while Grey fell forward unconscious. Slowly her consciousness grew blurred, in the last seconds she only saw Irena running at him as the sunlight began to rise.
At least this city has hope for the future, he murmured.
