Being Strong On Your Own

Being Strong On Your Own
Chapter 04: The New Identity

There was a simple house inside the forest that many people had always avoided, rumor has it that the place is filled by witches who use the organs of the human body as a certain material but truthfully the house is just a house owned by a beautiful woman who a few years ago lived alone, she is 175 cm shorter than Grey, wearing a black funeral gown to cover her porcelain white skin.

Unlike a funeral dress in general, the dress still shows shoulders, back and also half of her chest are abundant, from his long red hair there is a black rose ornament decorated with skull-shaped hairpins on his head.

Her red eyes glowed brightly and she also adorned her little lips in a similar color, as Grey opened the door the woman would smile at her with a teacup in her hand.

"Welcome back."

"I'm home."

Grey took off his coat and folded his clothes to go to the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat today, Anabeth?"

"I think I still like the food from yesterday."

"Steak meat with vegetable pieces right."

"It's true."

While Grey prepares the food, the woman smiles at him in her own way, she has seductive wet eyes.

"Because you still decided to be an adventurer I'm so lonely. Can we go together sometimes."

"I think the weekend will make time for you."

"Hore, it's a date."

Grey is still focused on cooking and now he is putting in every seasoning necessary to make the food taste good.

A woman named Anabeth isn't human, she's a vampire ancestor. The reason why Grey is still alive today is because of his help, when the first wave and the dying Grey meet him.

"You've been hurt so badly, why do you keep working so hard?"

"I'll save everyone."

"Your friends are dead."

"No way."

"And seeing from your condition you too will die in the near future."

"How about this town?"

"How do we make a deal, I will finish off all these monsters on condition that you become my servant, of course I will also save you but in exchange you have to throw away your humanity."

"This city is only a border town, I think you are only used as a collision by the strong people in the capital, while you fight they are just engrossed in living with luxury."

Grey couldn't deny it, if only they were willing to make a move, he wouldn't be volunteering with his friends right now.

"So what's your answer?"

"For the sake of my fallen friend and for the sake of this city I will take it."

"Then we agree."

Anabeth bit the tip of her mouth where it was dripping fresh blood from there, she unhesitatingly raised Grey's face with both hands then the two kissed each other.

"Take my blood."

They did it repeatedly before Anabeth dropped it, of course one time was enough but Anabeth just took more chances for her.

"You rest there, let me finish everything for you..Your name?"

"Grey."

"From now on please help."

Since then their relationship is like a servant and a master or maybe more intimate than just that.

Grey served food on the table making Anabeth's gaze glow.

"The smell is very fragrant, welcome to eat.. Grey takes off your helmet when you're home, you haven't forgotten the rules, have you?"

"I understand."

Grey followed what Anabeth said, just as it seemed, Grey also had bright red eyes while for her hair she had disheveled silver hair.

"When you're so handsome and have a warrior face baby should be covered all the time."

"Eat a lot."

"You ignored my praise!"

"Isn't what you eat my share?"

"Belgroff."
