Being Strong On Your Own
Chapter 46: The Next Fight

The sun began to peek out from behind the mountain as Grey sat on top of the fortress. He had been on guard all night and finally morning had arrived.

Everyone had prepared to continue the journey however, before that they decided to prepare food for everyone.

Grey did not participate in the cooking and just sat on the outskirts while waiting for everything to be finished, Via sat on his shoulder while eating bread. He was too hungry to wait for everyone to finish.

"I thought I saw a bee just now."

"Webah kah, instead of them always produce a sweet liquid called honey," said Via excited.

"That's right, how about we go find him?"

"That's a great idea."

Grey stands up and then leaves without anyone's knowledge to walk into the forest, he sees one bee in this direction and it is clear that the nest is not far from where it stands.

He watched every tree he passed. So far there is no sign that the beehive is there.

"It's harder than I imagined" said Grey back down deeper until he appeared in front of a clear stream.

Via first realized it.

"Look at that Grey, right there."

"It's true."

Across the river there is a tree and in the hole of the trunk there is a collection of bees that alternately build a nest.

Via flies off to watch from afar as Grey crosses the river and arrives nested by bees, he carefully separates his hive so that the queen bee does not get carried away and only carries her hive to taste.

He even used smoke to drive them away even though there were still some bees attacking him.

"It turns out you can use fire magic."

"It's just the basics."

"so."

Grey squeezes the honeycomb, letting the sweet liquid fall into the jar he had previously provided.

Via took a few spoons for himself until his stomach squeaked.

"Well, it's delicious, especially if plus the bread my stomach is very full."

"I can see it."

Grey stuffed a jar of honey into his storage ring, while he carried Via by letting it lie on his palm.

By the time he returned all the adventurers had taken the line to queue where it was the Irenalah group in charge of distributing food, the prisoners also got their food rations.

"Where are you really from? Take it," said Irena.

"I'm just watching for a second, thanks."

Grey took his place with the others and ate it quietly. After this there were still other generals they had to defeat and most likely even if they did not move the enemy would come by itself.

Given that, during the day they began to prepare everything, they did not leave but waited a few days at Grey's suggestion.

On the third day the enemy troops had arrived, led by a general named Abel he directed 200 troops to attack the place.

"They really came full of preparation."

"That's true."

The cries of the enemy echoed.

"You will pay for daring to oppose the kingdom of Neira including the new king, all pull your weapons and attack."

Simultaneously the cries of war rumbled.

They ran without hesitation and they easily fell into the ground as a result of the hole being made transverse. There was some sort of liquid inside there that made them rush to get out.

"Get out, this is flammable liquid."

An arrow of fire was dropped from above the sky and it was precisely stuck in the hole until at the same time the fire gushed into the air forming itself like a wall of fire.

Those who could not escape were burned alive and those who were still alive received an endless rain of arrows.
