Their dinner ends with a warm soup made by Grey. He included potatoes, meat and some spices needed to add flavor.
While enjoying the soup, Alexia explained the whole incident that happened in the capital, everything was not much different from what Nile told Grey, unless her army of followers is killed all and only Alexia can survive the only one.
"The king has done such a terrible thing?"
"No, it was my father who helped me escape. He was also against this, unfortunately the prime minister rebelled, he was the mastermind of all this with the other nobles."
So Nile lied, Grey muttered.
He tried to cover everything up so that the adventurers would not move.
"When was that head handed over to the Undead King?"
"I feel today."
Everyone fell into a slump, it was obvious they had been late but did not regret that they could save the princess safely.
"I think the Undead King doesn't side with humans, rather he's trying to divide us into fighting each other."
What Irena said was a rational thing, the Undead King could have eliminated them all but he instead chose a convoluted way.
Grey realized one thing.
"He wants to make us die by despair, before actually killing us. Once we are enslaved to make his territory he will kill us then kill the humans who work for him."
"Maybe," said Arina.
There was nothing they could do, tomorrow morning they would return to the city of Risol. Except Grey they all sleep hugging each other to warm themselves up.
Grey was used to not sleeping so it didn't matter, he just sat there with his hands out.
"Now how do I solve this problem," he said as he glanced at the dazzling moonlight.
Upon arrival at Risol City, everyone had moved as per the instructions, some not forgetting about the trap.
"Give it to me."
Before long one of the adventurers entered the room.
"The activity of monsters seen starting to come out of the dungeon, it was certain that the red moon would occur tonight."
"Everything's faster, this must be because a lot of people were killed in the second wave."
"Yes, we're totally cornered."
Princess Alexia stood up.
"I'm truly grateful to everyone in the border region, I feel ashamed that I can't do anything for you guys."
"Don't say that, instead of the princess herself giving a proposal to provide financial aid to every border region, it's a pity that other higher-ups don't pay attention to it."
"I just didn't force them any further."
"What happens let it happen, now we focus on facing them...how about other border cities?"cut Grey.
"Ah, we got the information this morning, they've gone to the Vardes kingdom tonight I'm sure they'll be there."
Grey breathed a sigh of relief. So they'll be fine.
"But Grey, it doesn't matter that we move everyone there, instead it's the same thing that makes them live there as residents of Vardes."
"No problem no, there are very few people if they can add people, it is very helpful.," he replied to the adventurer and added.
"I'm the king anyway."
Everyone was shocked and shouted at the same time.
"Did?!"
