Chapter 56: The Beginning of the War

During the winter everyone helped reconstruct the city in the Astrea region which would later become home to mermaids. Meanwhile they will stay in the Capital of Vardes and it is planned that they will move when the snow melts.

"This is the perfect place, I never thought there was a lake near the city that we would restore," the words came from Arina who smiled widely.

Via who was on Grey's shoulder retorted.

"Even if the lake is frozen now, can't you mermaids get far from the water?"

"In short sometimes we want to swim, it's our default to dive."

Grey cut.

"We can't do anything about the funds, let's go back."

"It looks so."

They can't be sure whether the funds are safe or not, which is clear until the ice melts then they will know, the region in this place is abandoned because that's sometimes a lot of monsters that settle.

Grey helps to repair the shattered walls and Arina uses her magic to clear away the shattered rubble. Their work continued for the next few months, and as the snow melted, their mermaids went to the lake before.

"Do we have to wear this? Bra like this feels uncomfortable."

"Sorry Oliviera and all of you, according to Grey you should not be completely naked. Bra you should wear. Over time you will get used to it."

It was normally done, the mermaids obviously did not have what is called shame.

Grey only hung his shoulders limp as they began to jump into the lake water.

Arina took off her clothes and jumped up, her legs turning into fins as she was about to touch the surface of the water to splash water ripples upwards.

Grey could see how the mermaids were splashing water on their faces.

After this, all that will be waiting for Grey is a war.

In the capital of Vardes in the meeting room a giant map was laid out to the size of a table.

Arina, Grey and Sartina were in the room to discuss the tactics of war. Since Florisa and Anabeth were pregnant Grey chose not to involve them in the war.

The entire plan would only be done with the three of them.

"Undead King is really serious right now, they're eyeing us from every direction."

"Well, it's quite difficult.we're still outnumbered, what's coming is this army."

Arina pointed to the rocky cliff area above the map.

"If it's this place, we can handle it with just a few people."

"You're planning Grey?"

"Let's blast the cliff as they pass."

And the three of them went through Arina's teleportation magic, on top of the cliff they could see how the army of skulls had arrived, their leader was a man named Dulahan who held his head in his armpits and rode a headless horse.

It's been the afternoon since they've prepared the explosives, just as Grey pressed the button.

The enemy troops looking up began to be buried one by one and shattered into pieces.

"Would you?" sartina said, but as she waved her own death flag, the buried Dulahan burst out of the rubble and then jumped up to the top where the three of them were.

"What a coward, if you dare to fight me one by one!" shouted so.
