Apocalypse Regression's

Apocalypse Regression's
The Abyssal Shadow Lynx

This shouldn't have happened.

In twenty days, besides Old Franky, Shani, Nathan, and Nala. All the members of the Sword of Sufferings had completed the first evolution. Not only that, even Abigail and Darin had obtained their first Miracle Root.

As requested earlier, Darin obtained the Miracle Root from the power-type red zombie. While Abigail, following Ark's advice, the woman took the Miracle Root from the speed-type dark green zombie.

Ark even admitted that their luck was excellent.

Other than the two of them, the other members had also thought of a suitable Miracle Root for themselves. Natasha, she had clearly chosen a Miracle Root-type power similar to Darin. Yonas, unexpectedly the man chose a type of defense that until now had never been their group to meet. Vadim wanted a type of vitality, a type of regeneration as it had a great possibility to heal his left eye as well as severe injuries in his body.

Lisa herself also chose the speed type. Even if it was less suitable for her, the girl insisted. The reason was simple, to look like Abigail who also matched her Butterfly and Bee Dance skill.

It's just, Ark was quite disappointed. Other than Jay and Abigail who showed special talent, the other members did not arouse any special talent at all. Although he already knew that the probability was very low, but he still felt sour. It seemed that the dreams of an elite team with special talent abilities could not be made.

Reality is not the same as imagination!

Even so, Ark himself was already very certain. Right now, the Sword of Sufferings was the most powerful group among the entire group in this city.

The state? A continent? The world? Ark had never thought so far away because all of his energy had to be focused in this city!

Even if he was focused, the change of the world was completely unfathomable. Ark itself had run out of manpower to take care of things that might happen in this region. Not to mention the country or even the world!

Ark sat on the sofa with a grim expression. The young man clearly remembered, Debby was at the top of level one. There was a high chance that the creature broke through level two, crazed and ended up attacking its own owner.

Seeing the gray clouds in the sky with the dancing lightning as its decoration, Ark complained inwardly.

'This is the reason why I don't want to trust anyone. Humans alone were unbelievable, let alone mutant beasts that were hostile towards humans and considered them as food.'

Ark stared at Jay and Old Franky. Seeing how serious their expressions were, he finally asked.

"What do you want now, Old Franky? As you know, patrol work does have risks. That's why I told Lisa to practice more than play around.

Go outside to pretend to be a justice enforcer. Easy way to kill yourself."

"..."

Jay disagrees. He was a bit upset that he was always called "Uncle" by the girl. However, the man knew that Lisa was actually a good girl. It's just really stubborn. That's why Jay just kept quiet, absolutely no intention of defending.

Bruk!

Old Franky suddenly prostrated. The old man banged his head on the floor and shouted out loud.

"I beg you, Chief! I know that girl is reckless and stubborn, but she is not evil. I will do anything as long as you save her!

So please, please save Lisa!"

Seeing the usually arrogant old man prostrate on the floor, Ark was shocked. He did not expect that the rude scientist with high self-esteem to prostrate.

"Is your pride only up to this, Old Franky? You really prostrate?"

"I don't care! I lost my wife when I gave birth to my son. I lost my son and my son-in-law in an accident many years ago.

What pride! I'm just an old geezer who doesn't want to lose his granddaughter!"

"..."

Hearing the angry, sad, and helpless roar of Old Franky made Ark sigh deeply. He really knew what the old man was feeling. The young man had only one family, his sister. She was really worried and helpless, wanting to save her sister but separated so far.

"I'll look for him."

Ark said in a flat tone. This surprised Jay. Old Franky even felt misheard.

Ark then walked towards his room to prepare. He took a coat, wore gloves, and shoes. Then the young man walked into a wooden box and opened it.

There, it appeared a curved sword with a sharp blade upside down. A simple craft, but it looks beautiful. He has made it himself with a lot of effort. Being able to cut through iron as if it was nothing.

Grabbing the sword hilt, the young man stroked the smoothed sword body while saying.

"We're gonna find a suitable prey."

Ark's eyes flashed coldly as a gentle smile appeared on his lips.

"The figure deserves to be the one you're killing for the first time."

Meanwhile, in the elite residential area was quite far from the headquarters.

"I really didn't expect it would all end like this."

Lisa's body was trembling from exhaustion. He looked up at the dark sky with a sad smile on his face.

"It seems that I really can't keep my promise. I have to leave Grandpa alone."

Drops by drops of water fell from the sky. Heavy rain began to pour down on the earth. The little girl who had lost both her weapon and her spirit again said.

"Go, Debby. Just leave me here. That way, at least you can still survive."

The figure of the Black Doberman who was filled with wounds was still standing in front of Lisa with all four legs. The creature continued to growl, making threats to the figure who was several meters in front of the two of them.

The body was similar, even bigger than an ordinary tiger. Its entire body was jet black, with bright green eyes and vertical pupils. The two long fangs looked like two swords that were ready to tear apart their prey.

A beast similar to a sword tiger with a scorpion tail that made its appearance even fiercer stared at the figures of Lisa and Debby!

Think of both as their prey!

"Go from here, Debby! You can't possibly beat him!

Leave me alone! Anyway ... I've been poisoned."

Lisa shouted in despair. Just then, the figure of a creature similar to a sword tiger and Debby suddenly turned her head in one direction.

Under the rain curtain, the figure of a handsome young man with blue eyes walked calmly. Pulling out a strange sword-like weapon, but not entirely a sword from its scabbard, he began to speak.

"It seems I misunderstood you, Little Blacky."

Ark then looked towards the figure of the saber-toothed tiger with a flat expression. The young man muttered in a voice that only he could hear.

"Who would have thought, all this was you ... The Abyssal Shadow Lynx."
