Apocalypse Regression's

Apocalypse Regression's
Hells?

"Are you crazy, Ark?"

Jay asked Ark with a frightened expression. Despite having a large and powerful body, in fact, the man was actually a coward who did not dare to hit others.

"Stop asking the same question, Jay. Enough ado, we're getting out of here."

"Go? Go where?"

"To where we're supposed to go."

"What the hell with that abstract answer!"

Seeing Ark had walked away leaving him, Jay immediately ran after him with a terrified expression.

"Wait for me, Ark! You're not leaving your best friend alone, are you!"

Jay immediately followed, but when he stepped on the pool of blood, the man subconsciously lowered his head. Seeing his neck, esophagus, red meat, and brain being crushed.

"Hey, Ark!"

Walking beside the Ark, Jay called out. Having a terrified expression, he continued.

"What if the people you killed were infected with certain diseases because of this sudden change?"

"Then, it makes no difference." Ark answered without looking. "Rather than contracting strange and dangerous diseases, I'd rather kill them."

"But ..."

"Accept this fact, Jay. The world has changed all of a sudden, so you have to adapt.

After all, only people who have the ability to adapt quickly will survive in various conditions."

Seeing how Ark still didn't care, Jay felt perplexed. He felt, the young man beside him suddenly changed drastically. However, from how Ark cared about himself, Jay knew .. the young man still Ark whom he knew.

"By the way, why don't we remind the people who were on the hill earlier? If we—"

"There's no time. Besides, the more crowded and crowded a place is, the more dangerous it is."

"Why?"

Jay tilted his head with a confused expression.

"Picture it like the apocalypse game or movie you've played or seen. Zombie viruses can be transmitted through bites, claws, and several other things.

In essence, try not to get hurt because of their attacks."

"So, you said ... The city will be filled with zombies?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Then ... don't we now walk towards the city?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"..."

Hearing Ark's flat reply, Jay stopped in his place. Looking towards his best friend with an expression of disbelief, he immediately cursed.

"Holy empty egg! Doesn't that mean we're going to kill ourselves?

Can't we find a hideout and wait for reinforcements?"

"Group ..."

Hearing Jay's words, Ark grinned with a smile full of ridicule.

"What's so funny?"

"Didn't you see it for yourself? Power outages, cars and electronic equipment are all damaged, even.

That means, most likely the firearm won't work."

Hearing Ark's remark, Jay tilted his head and asked in a strange tone.

"Isn't that easy? I mean ... beat those zombies?"

"..."

Ark was silent for a moment. A few moments later, a smile appeared on his face.

"Then it's appropriate."

"Eh? Meanin?"

"Holding the British key even tighter, we've got some visitors."

"Eh? What's?"

Together with Ark's words, in the opposite direction, there appeared to be many pale figures walking in a strange manner. They growl like animals. Looking towards Ark and Jay, they rushed to attack.

It's just, they .. are too slow.

Seeing how Jay looked so nervous, Ark could only let out a long sigh.

"Time doesn't wait for anyone, Jay."

After saying that, Ark immediately rushed forward as soon as possible. He ruthlessly beheaded some zombies. After which, he glanced towards Jay.

Ark's words immediately made Jay speechless. Holding the English key in his hand, the man looked dazed.

"It should be easy, right?"

Advancing towards the one remaining zombie, the restrained Jay swung the English key firmly right behind the creature's neck.

Bruk!

The zombie fell to the floor. Seeing that, Jay who previously looked scared and reluctant suddenly smiled. Raising his head high, he said.

"Look! I can do it too."

Right Jay finished saying that, the zombie he hit got up. The creature instantly swung both hands filled with sharp claws.

Jay was shocked and panicked. When he was about to retreat, he stumbled instead. Thinking he's about to get hurt and become a zombie, Ark suddenly grabs behind Jay's collar. He then decapitated the zombie with ease.

Crat!

Blood instantly splashed onto Ark's clothes and Jay's face. Feeling the blood that hit the clothes and the bottom of his face, the big man immediately shouted.

"ah! The blood! It'll poison me! I'm gonna die!"

Plaque!

Ark slapped Jay in the face. Seeing Jay stunned and stop shouting, he said in a lazy tone.

"In addition to the stench, the blood means nothing. Didn't you see I was okay?

What's most important is avoiding claws, teeth, tails, and other dangerous body parts."

Hearing that, Jay wiped the blood on his face with a relieved smile.

"Oh ... Thank goodness then. Waita minute! You say, tail?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Ark continued walking without looking back. Jay who got up immediately walked up to his friend and asked in panic.

"That's just your fantasy, isn't it, Ark? No way a zombie has a tail, right? You didn't say there was some sort of mutated zombie, did you?

Tell me .. It's impossible that there's such a creature, right?"

"..."

Seeing Ark still walking in silence, Jay immediately followed with a depressed expression. Like a man who worked for a month without getting a single shred of pay.

"Do you want to try it?"

Asking this, Ark gave Jay a cleaver. He looks so calm. His expression did not change much when he saw some zombies moving towards them.

After Jay received the machete, the battle finally began again!

***

A few hours later.

On a long and lonely highway, the figure of Jay and Ark was walking quietly. On the right and left side of the road, there were tall trees, different from before. In addition, the grass also looks more lush than before.

Previously, it was the only highway leading to the hill. A road around it is a small forest. But now it looks like a tropical forest that has not been touched by humans.

"Why can you defeat them with one strike, Ark?"

Jay opened his mouth, trying to make conversation. He felt very strange when the situation around them was so quiet.

"Incar his weakest point."

"I did that too!"

Hearing Jay being so dissatisfied, Ark said again.

"Incar that point and slash it with all your might. Reassure yourself, make sure to put everything in. Make yourself sure ...

In one strike, the enemy must die."

Hearing Ark's words that weren't very helpful to him, Jay could only let out a long sigh.

As they continued walking, the dawn finally arrived. Feeling a little light that brings hope and warms the soul, Jay said.

"What we go through is really like hell. Perhaps, this world has become hell for us mankind."

Hearing Jay's words, Ark shook his head. Out of the forest, they saw a city in the distance. But rather than the beautiful and magnificent city as before, what they saw now was ...

A dead city that looked terrible.

Seeing that sight, Ark opened his mouth.

"If you consider this hell ..."

Staring at the dawn with a red ray of blood poured out into the world, Ark's expression became even quieter.

"Then you will wail and die knowing what awaits us."
