Apocalypse Regression's

Apocalypse Regression's
Do as you please

Trees with an average height of about thirty meters filled the scene. The vines hung, swaying along with a gust of wind. Dense bushes and fallen leaves filled the city garden floor.

More precisely, a vast forest that suddenly appeared within the city!

"It's really weird. I don't think the city park is that big, do I?"

Looking at the scene, Jay could not help but feel astonished.

"Could the earth grow bigger? To become wider?

That should not be possible. It is possible that the world is becoming increasingly smaller because it is attracted by the force of gravity. But it is becoming wider. That's really impossible."

Darin muttered with a confused expression. Felt that the science he had learned until now was really less useful. Still useful, but not as absolute as it should be.

"I know you're amazed. But now is not the time to enjoy the view."

Ark's words immediately resuscitated his teammates. They then looked towards Ark looking.

On the road bordering the forest, there seemed to be many zombies roaming around. The numbers were overwhelming, and among them appeared a green-colored zombie with a figure full of muscles.

Special zombies with regeneration abilities!

Ark glanced at Jay and said.

"It seems that our harvest this time is not bad at all."

"Ughhh!" Jay's lips twitched. "That thing brings me bad memories."

"You're overreacting, Jay."

"I'm not overdone or overdone! I had already fought with such a creature before, but my efforts ended up being wasted!"

"At least you have experience fighting with stronger beings, right?"

"I won't deny it."

By the time Ark and Jay spoke, the zombies were naturally aware of their existence. The creatures instantly ran over, rushing towards Ark as well as his comrades with wild and crazy expressions. It was really similar to a starving beast.

"There are also some level two zombies there."

Ark stared at the zombie figure with grey skin. Unlike the normal zombies, his body was intact and looked sturdy. His appearance was like a normal zombie, but it was more sinister and crueler.

"Is that level two? Doesn't look strong, does it?"

Jay drew his sword, staring towards the level two zombies with a strange expression. Because in his feelings, the creature is not as strong as a first-rate special zombie.

"At least the creature's skin is harder to cut. It also seemed to be stronger, faster, and cunning compared to ordinary zombies. Plus the number, it seems harder than facing a special zombie."

Ark pulled the katana while walking forward along with Jay.

"So that's it," Jay replied.

"Then, which one did you choose?"

The two talked while walking. When some ordinary zombies attacked, the hands of the two of them instantly moved. Beheading the zombies with one swing of the sword.

"I still have hatred for such a green creature, so I chose it." Jay said firmly.

"Let's say you're lazy to face a new, complicated zombie."

A slash!

Katana and the sword swing back. The heads and bodies of ordinary zombies fell into the streets.

"You've always thought badly of your partner, man."

Jay complained. He and his best friend walked faster.

"I'm just stating a fact" Ark replied.

The two of them walked faster, faster, then started running. Not to forget, keep decapitating the zombies in the process.

"They both ..."

Darin muttered softly. He, Yonas, and Vadim helped each other in fighting the zombies while staring at the head and vice-chairman of the Sword of Sufferings who chatted casually while fighting hundreds of zombies as if they were walking in a flower garden. The strength of the two of them actually further shocked the three of them.

Stacy hunts down one zombie after another alone. He now uses a short sword. The girl took advantage of this opportunity to hone her Butterfly and Bee Dance skills.

Ark's figure arrived in front of several second-rate zombies. His face and clothes were filled with black blood spots. Without changing his expression, he instantly slashed out quickly.

Swooshes!

The sound of splitting the air sounded. Then, a surprised zombie figure was immediately flown. Roll out onto the streets before getting up again.

"As I expected. Old weapons like these were increasingly reluctant to be used against higher level zombies. It can still be, but ..."

Thinking of a higher level zombie with harder and harder skin, Ark frowned. Even if the weapon was taken care of, there was no denying that it was just a piece of junk that could still be used.

"This thing (zombie) will definitely harm the members of people who have just evolved, let alone ordinary humans."

Several level two zombies attacked the Ark figure. Yet the young man dodged every attack as if he had experienced that type of attack thousands of times. He then jumped back, landing in a beautiful motion.

"If without using a rather heavy force, just finish it off with the ability. Anyway ..."

Ark's eyes turned blue. Just then, a powerful killing intent emerged from within him.

"There's no time to waste in this place."

***

About an hour and a half later.

On the streets bordering the city park, there seemed to be pieces of zombie bodies everywhere. Black blood welled up in the streets, forming a pool of dark and gloomy blood.

"So soon do the harvest and then leave this place."

Ark immediately gave a firm order. At that moment, Jay's voice sounded.

"What should we do with this thing? It's impossible to just throw it away, right?"

Jay points towards a special zombie that is dying, but not yet dead. Although speaking loudly, but the condition of his body really does not look good. His body was covered in cuts and bruises. Not as severe as the first fight, but clearly still going through a tough fight.

"Cut all four parts of his body. Take it away from this place before it starts to be distributed."

"Ok," replied the exhausted Jay.

Finished harvesting, Ark and his comrades left the place while carrying the bodies of the green-colored special zombies. They rested in one of the buildings.

Seeing some members who were confused when they saw the special zombie body, Ark finally decided to explain the theory of evolution and absorption of Miracle Root that he and Jay had done.

The members of his group were immediately shocked. They didn't think there was anything like that. Absolutely magical. A way that can be used so that humanity can adapt in this crazy world.

"The "absorbed ability is the same as that of the creature. This zombie is a regeneration type, so if it is absorbed, you will gain vitality and regeneration ability quite well.

Jonas and Vadim, you have not gone through the first evolution, so this is impossible for you to absorb. So you'll wait another time. Stacy, your abilities are actually more towards speed, so I do not recommend taking this Miracle Root.

And you, Darin. I think this is perfect for you. Since there is a high chance that if you absorb this Miracle Root, your half-healed left hand will be completely healed. It can even be used and better than before!"

Hearing that, Yonas and Vadim looked towards Darin with delighted expressions. They would be happy if their comrades healed and became stronger. However, Darin lowered his head and suddenly said.

"I'm sorry, Chief. But may I have another opinion?"

"Say," said Ark.

"I'm sure without any regenerative ability, my left hand will heal. Yes, although slower and do not know when.

Moreover, I actually want to absorb Miracle Root from the red zombies. Like the special zombies I, Yonas, and Vadim fought before."

"DON'T KIDDING! DOESN'T THAT MEAN MIRACLE ROOT WILL BE A WASTE!"

Not Ark, but Jay who was hunting for the second time actually felt very depressed. He felt very depressed, even quite depressed.

"Enough, Jay." Ark said relax.

At that moment, Stacy raised her hand.

"May I absorb it, Chief?"

"En?" Ark surprised. "But I told you, this special zombie doesn't suit you very well."

"When I heard the explanation about the zombie abilities, I actually had also chosen a zombie like this, Chief. So if I may, I want to absorb it."

"Even if it means rerouting forward? Make you more trouble?"

"Yes!" reply Stacy firmly.

Looking at Stacy's stern gaze without the slightest hesitation, Ark let out a long sigh. Obviously, the girl also had her own idea. Even if Ark was their leader, he did not want to force them. Provided that they were still on the same path as him, the young man did not mind at all.

In the end, Ark finally retaliated.

"Do as you please."
