Apocalypse Regression's

Apocalypse Regression's
Calm Yourself and Sharpen Your Sword

The next day afternoon.

"Really, I don't understand what Ark's thinking."

Jay walked over with a tray. Above it are two bowls of porridge and two glasses of water. He then went to the reserve warehouse, more precisely. The man then went up to the second floor.

Arriving on the second floor, Jay saw two people who were different cells (cages). They were Draco and Leon who were back together with the Dark Caravan this morning.

"Time to eat, man." Jay said kindly.

The man then gave Leon and Draco a bowl of porridge with a glass of water. Without a hint of hesitation, they began to eat and drink. This surprised Jay.

"Aren't you afraid of being poisoned? You (former) bad guys and many who hate, are you really so relaxed?"

"Master won't bring us back just to be poisoned," Draco replied with a flat expression on his face.

Hearing the plausible answer, Jay pensive. After a while, he couldn't help but ask.

"Do you guys know? Actually all the confinements on this floor were not prisons at all, but places to tame ferocious beasts. Aren't you guys angry?"

"As long as I gain the strength to take revenge, I don't care if you treat me like an animal. Since childhood, I have been used to seeing people like that. I don't know if Master is the same kind, and I don't care." Draco said flatly.

"So did I. As long as it gains the power to take revenge, it's all worth it" Leon added.

The answer left Jay speechless. He really did not expect that there were people like them.

"Go back, Jay. They were not people who wanted to survive or were power crazy. They're just people who thirst for revenge and murder."

A quiet voice came, Jay and the two others turned to the source of the voice.

"One person was forced to live by his sister and tried to continue to remember his figure. While others are people who do not want to die before taking revenge. Two pathetic people. You won't understand what they're feeling, Jay."

"But you don't have to lock them up in this place, do you? The way you treat them is a little excessive, Ark." Jay said helplessly.

"I just don't want them to influence the other members. Currently they were filled with a murderous obsession, it was not at all good to get along with the other fellows. I'll talk to them and teach them meditation."

Ark glanced at Jay before adding.

"Meditation to calm the mind and soul. It has absolutely nothing to do with qi, chakra, or anything like that .. so stop that wild imagination and go!"

"Tsk! I know," said Jay dissatisfied.

"Then go."

"..."

Seeing Jay leave reluctantly, Ark shook his head. He then looked towards Leon and Draco.

"Are you not surprised by how I look?"

"Just surprised, but not too concerned. Even if you were a woman, I wouldn't care as long as you could give me strength, sir." Draco answered flatly.

"That's not funny, Draco. But I appreciate your determination. So I'll be honest with you guys.

Unlike the other members, I want to train you as my weapon. Of course, I still treat you as human beings. However, you will have a heavier task than the other members."

"Kill people, huh?" ask Draco flat.

"Yes." Yeah." Ark nodded. "In addition to you and Leon, there is still one person .. Saito."

Looking towards the Ark, Draco and Leon nodded.

"Meditation is very important to you. Tranquility is a must to distinguish what can and cannot be done. Don't just live with obsession because it might lead you down a perverse path.

In the afternoon, in the Sword of Sufferings meeting room.

"Since everyone has gathered, let's start the meeting."

Sitting in the chairperson's chair, Ark looked towards his comrades. More precisely, the members that he considered to be the higher-ups of the Sword of Sufferings. There's Jay, Darin, Stacy, Natasha, Abigail, Kurona, Shirona, Lisa, and Old Franky.

Right now Ark is not calling all the old members. Only ten people including him. Jonas, Vadim, and Shani will be entrusted to Darin. Saito, Nami, Draco, and Leon will take care of the Ark themselves. As for the two branch groups, Scarlet Sword and Violet Sword would move according to the orders of their chief, so there was absolutely no problem.

"Maybe some of you have known it because there are 'some people' who spread the news without being told."

Hearing Ark's words, Lisa turned her face away. Pretending not to hear what his chairman said.

Ark himself only shook his head lightly before continuing.

"Seven days later, two days before winter arrived. He wanted to do the Black Panther member cleanup, making the group more united and sturdy.

We and Silver Cross will help in the process. After that, the plans of the Dark Triangle Alliance could really be completed. Therefore, I will mobilize quite a number of people.

Kurona and Shirona will come with me. Darin, you will go with Yonas and Vadim. There's a mission you three need to do. Stacy, you will bring Roxanne and the other members of Violet Sword to do another mission.

The rest will be at the base. Perform activities as usual while maintaining headquarters security."

After Ark said that, Jay and Lisa raised their hands.

"Why don't I come, Ark? Isn't this mission important?" ask Jay.

"You are needed in defense. Other than me, Kurona, and Shirona .. only you have completed the third evolution. Although it should be safe, it never hurts to be careful."

"What about me? Isn't my strength needed on the battlefield?" ask Lisa.

"Your abilities are not needed at this time. I believe that your abilities are very useful in dealing with zombies and mutated beasts. As for fighting humans .. I'm still not sure."

"I can beat them easily!" lisa said in a annoyed tone.

"It's different, Lisa. This battle is not only about winning and losing, but also life and death. Fighting with killing intent and having no difference. For now ... You are not ready to do such a thing."

"But ..." Lisa was doubtful.

"Once in a while you have to listen to your laughter, Lisa." Old Franky advises.

"Well," Lisa replied reluctantly.

Ark then looked towards the other members. More precisely, towards Natasha and Abigail.

"Do you have an opinion?"

"I have no opinion. You must have known my work before. I can't kill people easily, especially cops or soldiers I might know." Natasha said calmly.

"I don't mind either. I thank you for setting me up at the headquarters so that I can be close to the kids." Abigail added. Not at all against Ark's suggestion.

Hearing them all agree, Ark nodded. He was quite satisfied as they did not reject the arrangements made by him at all. Taking a deep breath, the young man then said.

"In that case, I hope you can sharpen the sword in the remaining seven days."

"Remove your doubts and focus on the goal!"
