Apocalypse Regression's

Apocalypse Regression's
Wrong People?

Saito Ishigami, an unknown man who just appeared.

That's what Ark remembers most about him.

In his previous life, in his early years no one knew Saito. It was only after humanity continued to experience a crisis many years later that he appeared out of nowhere.

A person who appeared out of nowhere and started slaughtering many zombies and mutant beasts.

No one knew him when he appeared. Saito only introduces himself as the last descendant of the Ishigami clan. One-sword style user, the Wind Way.

Saito is one of the famous figures that Ark challenged to perfect his swordsmanship. Out of the many people he challenged, the man was one of the powerful memorable figures in his head.

If described, there is only one word suitable for Saito.

Although Saito's sword style had the name of the Wind Way, it had absolutely nothing to do with airbending or sword energy release techniques. The man had no talent of some kind of telekinesis. Only, his sword was so fast that it had cut off both hands of Ark.

If not for Ark having such a powerful recovery that a severed limb could easily reconnect, the young man would have already been cut to death by Saito.

Who would have thought, when Ark asked where Saito came from, the man said that they used to be from the same city.

(Because the city collapsed a few years after the apocalypse, the townspeople left. Ark himself began to wander.)

After searching for various information, Ark finally found out who Saito was before. An heir to a kendo dojo that has been shut down. A genius who had stopped holding his sword.

Ark himself did not know what reason made Saito again hold his sword. However he admitted that the man's sword talent was extremely powerful.

That's why Ark is trying to find and attract the man into his group in this life!

Only, Ark was now even confused.

"Are you giving me the wrong information, Joseph?"

Hearing Joseph's explanation, Ark felt that the middle-aged man was messing with him.

"This information is absolutely accurate, Mr. Hades. If you wish, I can discuss this with the Jade Scorpion chief.

Not knowing what grudges you have against this man named Saito, he will obviously release the man who lived like a parasite that easily."

"..."

Ark silent. He was still trying to digest the information Joseph gave him.

According to the information Joseph got, Saito is indeed the heir to the kendo dojo. But the dojo itself had closed many years ago before the apocalypse.

Saito is a man in his mid-twenties. His appearance was similar to the younger version of the figure Ark was familiar with. But they are also much different.

Compared to the proud kendo expert or the figure who had secretly hidden his strength, Saito before the apocalypse period was a lackluster man in his life.

Not to mention when the apocalypse arrived. Not only did he not struggle with his own strength, he instead depended on a girl, his childhood friend. It just so happened that the girl was the younger sister of the vice-chairman wife of the Jade Scorpion group.

Instead of just relying on the girl's help, the b-bitch wasn't even willing to help the group. Just being a parasite that comes with absorbing the Jade Scorpion's labor. The leader and vice-chairman of the group wanted to deal with him, but regardless of what kind of luck he obtained, the vice-chairman's wife and his sister actually tried desperately to protect him.

If such a man was in the Sword of Sufferings, Ark had already killed him earlier. He would cut off his body then throw it into the zombie nest. Let the creatures eat them alive!

A typical useless burden that Ark hated in his life!

"Even the Jade Scorpion chief said he wanted to send it to you without having to exchange it for anything.

Think of it as their good intentions to make friends!"

"..."

Ark's lip twitching.

'Send parasites to people and talk about friendship? Something's wrong with that guy's head!'

"What about the others?"

Hearing the question, Joseph shook his head.

"Young scientist named Stein, we haven't found him yet. If that person is indeed in this city, there are three possibilities.

First, he's dead. Second, the man was hiding in a secluded and hidden place. Lastly, he was under the Imperial Tiger so we couldn't find any information about him."

Ark nodded lightly. Although he wanted to immediately find people who were quite important in his plan, but all was not as easy as it seemed.

"Imperial Tiger ... is really troublesome," Ark muttered.

As the two of them spoke, there was a figure approaching them with a nervous expression.

"Report, Sir! It seems that Sir Thomas chose to return to headquarters first without waiting for us. If that happens, we'll be short of personnel to carry food and water supplies."

Ark. He looked at the figure of a handsome young man with pure white skin, wavy blonde hair and emerald eyes. He looked thin and weak, but quite excited.

"..."

Looking at the young man, a memory appeared in Ark's mind.

***

Dark clouds cover the sky. Heavy rain is pouring down the earth.

It looks like a vast countryside with many buildings collapsed. The place looked so dark, damp, and gloomy.

Among the damaged houses, there was a small hut still standing. There, there was a small flame that became a source of light as well as warmth in this dark and cold place.

In a small, rickety hut that was about to collapse, there appeared the figure of a man wearing a hooded robe sitting near a small stove. On top of the small stove, there was a clay pot.

A puff of smoke appeared, indicating the water had boiled. The man opened the lid and put in some strange-looking leaves and flowers and then closed the teapot again. A while later, a fragrant and refreshing aroma began to spread.

Just then, the sound of footsteps could be heard from a distance. The sound of metal shoes stepping on the rocks was barely heard in the rush of rain. Moments later, the figure of a tall man wearing knight-like armor with a large sword on his back was visible.

Heavy rain poured down on the man, but there was no change in his expression. He did not seem cold at all.

"Who would have thought that Ark, the Lone Star who was considered one of the best swordsmen actually escaped to a remote coastal area like this.

It seems that the rumor that you were scared and ran away is true."

The man in the hut who was making tea turned his head.

Ark looked at the figure of the man with long hair that was wet by the rain. The emerald-colored eyes emitted a dangerous luster. It reflects the reddish color of the only light source there.

"Do you know, in the past, there was a story where there was once a place called Oahu. It rained there for 247 days.

This place might be similar to the place mentioned. Being a rain country where the sky is always dark, continue to cry as if sad because the world is becoming more crazy and chaotic.

Uh! Sorry, I know you didn't come to listen to your senior lecture. Did you come to enjoy tea while talking about life?"

"..."

Seeing the man on the other side pull out the huge sword on his back, Ark smiled gently. He took a long breath.

Two pairs of eyes looked at each other. A cold glint was visible in their emerald and sapphire-like eyes.

Down the stairs, rain began to fall soaking Ark's body. Drawing his sword, a pair of blue eyes with vertical pupils stared at his opponent's figure.

"Yes ... Where could Siegfried, The Dragon Slayer came all the way here for tea, right?"
