Chapter 935: Godkiller

When Bai Xiaochun looked up, it was as if the entire world had changed the color of blood. Waves started rolling over the water that formed a swamp, and the countless entities that lived within it sensed Bai Xiaochun's aura, and instinctively began to tremble!

Master Cloud Lightning's heart raced faster than it had ever been in his entire life, and his mind spun in fear.

"Damn it, how could this Bai Xiaochun be as strong!?!?" he howled in his heart. "He wasn't in the early Deva realm !!"

It was at that moment that Bai Xiaochun looked up. Due to the red mist surrounding him, it was impossible for anyone to see his blood-red eyes clearly.

And the voice he spoke hardly sounded his own ….

"Lord ... killer!"

As soon as those words came out of his lips, he suddenly disappeared, becoming a streak of blood-colored light that pierced through the air at an indescribable speed. In fact, it moved so fast that it seemed capable of moving across time!

It was much faster than any type of teleportation. In the blink of an eye, he was on top of the fleeing Master Cloud Lightning, and before that fellow could even react, crashed into him!

A scream echoed into the air, and Master Cloud Lightning trembled violently. He immediately began to wither, a sensation that filled his heart with indescribable terror.

"How .... how could he move so fast!?!? She ... she absorbed my life force !! ” The colorful light lit up when Master Cloud Lightning tried to fight back, however, he was no match at all for Bai Xiaochun's Godkiller technique.

In a few moments, Master Cloud Lightning was nothing more than skin and bones, his face pale and dyed by the shadow of death. The flames of his life force were already flickering on the verge of being extinguished.

It happened too fast. One punch, and almost his entire life force was sucked in a shocking manner. With a tremble, Master Cloud Lightning let out a desperate scream.

"No!!"

An overwhelming regret filled him, however, at that moment, he suddenly realized that something strange had happened to Bai Xiaochun. He looked puzzled in his blood mist, as if he was not even conscious.

A tremble passed Master Cloud Lightning when hope suddenly appeared in his despair. Knowing that now was not the time to reflect on the situation, he took a deep breath and unleashed another divine ability that reversed the withering from before. Then, a colorful light shone brightly as he gritted his teeth and shot down towards the swamp below!

In an instant, he was inside the swamp, yet a moment later, Bai Xiaochun looked down .. and followed him!

The whole swamp shook. At the shortest moment, the horde of leeches was killed, not by the tremors, but by Bai Xiaochun's blood mist, which sucked up all of the surrounding life force.

Not just leeches, but larvae and other entities in swamps as well. Anything too close to Bai Xiaochun ended up dead!

It gave Master Cloud Lightning the chance he needed. As Bai Xiaochun absorbed the life force in the area, Master Cloud Lightning began to accelerate through the swamp itself. Although doing that was dangerous, it was not as dangerous as dealing directly with Bai Xiaochun.

There was clearly something strange going on with Bai Xiaochun, however, he did not even think of looking over his shoulder to try to determine what it was. Bai Xiaochun's magical technique was too frightening, and left Master Cloud Lightning with just a single thought in his head, he had to get away from Bai Xiaochun at all costs !!

After the time it took to burn the incense, that messy Master Cloud Lightning was quite far away. At that moment, he came out of the swamp water. He was covered with leeches and larvae, but did not even take the time to remove them. Gasping for breath, he shot forward as quickly as possible, glancing over his shoulder, an expression of terror on his face.

After a moment passed, his eyes opened, and they flickered in fear.

One thing he believed in was that after he lost consciousness, his mind was not taken over by any other entity. His body had acted of its own accord .. to absorb as much life force as possible from the surroundings.

That thought caused Bai Xiaochun to shiver in fear.

"Cannot be. Before, I had no idea how Godkiller actually worked. But now that I do, I can't use it. That's too dangerous." The feeling of having just lost control of his own body was truly terrifying.

A few moments passed. Suddenly, a shocked expression appeared on his face, when he realized that the drops of Immortal Blood that had been destroyed were now fully recovered!

He could only imagine how much life force he absorbed within two incense sticks in the swamp ….

"If only I could control it, then it would be a much better divine ability." Feeling torn, he looked down into the swamp and then scanned it with divine sense, only to find that it contained no life force at all ….

Even the far reach of the swamp was completely empty of the fluctuations of life force.

"How much do I absorb …?" Shaken, and eyes wide open, he suddenly felt somewhat excited.
