There were many stories and opinions about how the Deadmire Realm Heavenspan had been formed. No consensus has ever been reached, and most likely only a handful of people around the world know the truth about its origin.
For one thing, it was a puzzle as to why the living creatures that entered the area would die. Neither the gods nor the gods who entered Deadmire ever returned.
Although there were people who were interested in Deadmire, and found certain ways to study it, the only thing they knew was that it was filled with white seas.
It was a composed sea, not of water, but .. bones!
From the top of the mountain bordering the Deadmire itself, all one could see was a vast and endless mist. Under the fog was an endless stretch of white bones that looked like a sea of water.
There are human bones and animal bones, although in general, it is difficult to distinguish the types of bones present. Furthermore, the entire area was silent, and filled with a clear grudge.
There are no living beings. There's no sound.
And that silence is scary.
Many legends about Deadmire involve multiple wars of epic proportions that were fought even before the world appeared. Supposedly, the battlefield where the battle had ended up becoming a sea of Deadmire bones.
There are actually four Deadmir in the world, and they are all the same ….
In Deadmire which is on the border between east and north, it is possible to see three figures. The first was Bai Xiaochun, who was trembling in fear and dismay as he walked across the bones. The crackling sound that came with each step broke the silence, resounding in a strange and frightening manner.
Despite believing in the gravekeeper, Bai Xiaochun was still frightened, and gripped his command medallion until his hands were white. Following behind him were Song Que and Master God-Diviner, both trembling in anxiety.
Thankfully, as soon as they stepped into the Deadmire itself, the command medallion had lit up like a candle, sending out light for tens of meters in all directions, and pushing the mist away from them.
It alleviates their fears to some extent. As they walked, the sound of their strange footsteps resounded continuously. Considering that they were still new to this place, they did not dare to try to fly, and walked on foot, throwing wary gazes around them as they left.
Due to the thick fog, for Bai Xiaochun and his comrades they walked through the night, with their small and bright areas making them very conspicuous ….
Bai Xiaochun's face was pale as he crackled. Based on what he could say so far, there were really no living beings in Deadmire.
Three days passed. Even though they did not fly, they still moved quickly. At this point, Song Que seemed accustomed to the crunching bones, and the stifling pressure from the fog and darkness. His expression was actually rather calm. Master God-Diviner also seemed to be fine. Bai Xiaochun was the only one who was on full alert.
Song Que could not help but snort in his heart at Bai Xiaochun's anxiety. It also seemed to spark his own courage, and he began to stomp his feet a little harder. However, Bai Xiaochun was not happy with that.
Master God-Diviner also happened to feel that his actions were a bit extreme, and quickly said, "Stay calm, Song Que!"
Song Que snorted, and was just about to offer a reply when, suddenly, the extremely wary Bai Xiaochun said, "Did you guys hear that?!?!"
Song Que stopped walking, as did Lord God-Diviner. Everyone was focused on listening, and although they were unable to hear anything at first, it only took a while for both of their faces to fall. Somewhere in the fog ... Is there singing!?!?
That sounds like a woman. However, he was apparently so far away that they could not understand what he was singing. Regardless, the presence of the chant caused Bai Xiaochun's face to flow blood.
Song Que and Master God-Diviner looked around nervously, trying to identify the direction from which the chant came from. After a while, the eyes of the Diviner-God Master widened, and he pointed in a certain direction.
"There!"
Bai Xiaochun and Song Que immediately turned to look in that direction, that was when they saw countless corpses! These bodies were not just bones lying among the other bones, they were walking upright. There were thousands of them, hunched over at the waist, black ropes hung on their shoulders, making them seem almost like boatmen pulling a huge galleon !!
Behind over ten thousand human-sized corpses were over a thousand gigantic corpses! They all had black ropes hung on their shoulders as well, and pulled them!
But there is more! Behind the thousand giants were over a hundred beast corpses, each more than 3,000 meters tall! All the wild animals looked different. Surprisingly, at the very back, there were three bone dragons!
To the astonishment of the three cultivators, what next appeared before their eyes, just behind the three bone dragons ... was a huge galleon, 30,000 meters long, and made entirely of bones !!
The galleon was pitch black, and in very poor condition, with a tattered flag attached to a dilapidated flagpole. However, regardless of his condition, he still emitted a shocking energy!
Surprisingly, despite the fact that the corpses were pulling galleons across the surface of the sea of bones, no resulting sound could be heard. The entire Deadmire was still completely silent .. with the exception of the singing voice coming from within the galleon itself!
Bai Xiaochun was already trembling with intense fear, and had already started to retreat.
"There's something strange here" he said nervously, his face deathly pale. “What does a warship like this do in Deadmire ?! And why did all those bodies pull him? It's scary! Why don't we just go back. I think ... maybe the Great Wall is a better idea! " However, even when her words left her mouth, the giant galleon suddenly disappeared ….
The corpses went with him, and even the singing was gone, as if it had never existed before.
Bai Xiaochun's jaw fell.
Song Que and Master God-Diviner were also terrified. There's something very strange about it all. As for Song Que, when he looked at Bai Xiaochun and saw how scared he was, his own fear disappeared. Snorting mockingly, he said, “Deadmire should be weird. What's so scary about boats ?! It's just an illusion, that's all. Just ignore it and it's gone. What, Bai Xiaochun, are you scared or what? ”
When Bai Xiaochun heard that, he glared back.
"I? Afraid ghosts? " He swung his sleeve. “I am actually a heavenly necromancer, and the most important ghost in the world is my disciple. Why am I afraid of ghosts? Are you kidding me!?"
Song Que chuckled coldly, but did not say anything more. Grabbing the God-Diviner Master, he continued the journey they had originally set out on. Master God-Diviner went back and forth between Song Que and Bai Xiaochun, but did nothing but smile wryly and follow Song Que.
"Maybe it's really an illusion …." Bai Xiaochun thought, feeling somewhat embarrassed. How could he have guessed that such a galleon would appear so randomly, and then just disappear? Rubbing her nose, she reminded herself that she outperformed Song Que, and therefore, needed to watch out. Sighing, he hurriedly followed the other two so that they would remain within the protective perimeter created by his command medallion.
An entire month passed, as the strange galleon never appeared again. Slowly, Bai Xiaochun began to calm down. At the same time, the group began to add speed.
However, just a few days after that, their faces all fell down when they again heard the voice of a woman singing!
This time, the song was much clearer. Even ... they could hear the lyrics clearly!
It was a strange song, the kind that could not be forgotten once heard. It tells the story of a mother whose arm was eaten by her own child!
