A Will Eternal – Chapter 1099

Chapter 1099: The Key

Not far from Saint-Emperor City, Bai Xiaochun stood in midair, looking back from behind his shoulders. Considering the level of his cultivation base, it was easy for him to hear the sound of excitement behind him, although not so obvious.

"Never experienced this feeling for a long time!" He could not help but clear his throat slightly. After all, he knew exactly what was going on, and it was rather embarrassing. Thankfully, he knew exactly how to deal with the embarrassment.

"It's all my fault." In his heart, he breathed deeply. After all, it had been a long time since he had realized that no matter what he did in life, he could not stop being extraordinary.

“What other explanations can there be? Why is it that every time I stay anywhere for some time, people always get very emotional?

"Mount Hood, Spirit Stream Sect, Blood Flow Sect, River Antidote Sect, Starry Dao Sky Polarity Sect, Wildlands …. And now, even the people in the Eternal Domain realize how incredible I am. ” While wagging his sleeve, he turned around and continued on his way.

"Ah, whatever. Now that I am heading to the second immortal domain, I should definitely keep a low profile. ” As he moved, he thought about the Saint-Emperor edict, and no matter from which angle he considered it, it made him feel like he was kicked out into the cold air.

"I'm afraid that if I reveal my extraordinary nature to the people from the second immortal region, Saint-Emperor will only find another way to oppress me." It was easy to see what kind of situation he was in.

“The second immortal domain already has a celestial in charge of it. If I end up having problems with this other heavenly .. Saint-Emperor will definitely not side with me. " Having reached this point in his thinking, he realized more than ever that he should remain humble.

“Being too prominent is not a good thing. Well, I guess that's like that old phrase. How outcome? Everyone envied the tallest tree in the forest! ” It caused him to rethink how everyone had targeted him within the broken fan, and anger grew stronger in his heart. However, he forced himself to calm down and continue on his way.

Half a month has passed. Bai Xiaochun was not in a hurry, so he kept his pace and enjoyed the scenery. With his celestial cultivation base, there were not many things in the Eternal Immortal Domains that could cause trouble for him.

He was also not worried about the person who tried to kill him. The number of people qualified to try to do that can be counted on a few fingers. Seven days passed, and he ended up in the second immortal domain.

At this point, it becomes very difficult to stop thinking about a broken fan. That's especially true given that, based on his analysis, the harm involved in trying to reach it is minimal.

Furthermore, if he ended up losing the fan because he ignored it, it would be a huge parody.

"I can't wait any longer!" he thinks. After making her decision, she waited three more days, then gritted her teeth and grabbed the fan through the strange relationship between the two of them.

At first, he was agitated nervously, but after a while had passed, his expression flickered. He made a few more attempts, and then started to get confused.

“Why no reaction at all ?! Don't tell me the fan flew too far? Or did one of the emperors steal it? Goddamnit! I tried so hard to get that fan and stay safe! ” Not willing to give up, he tried a few more times. And thus, what was originally a journey of about half a month turned into a full month, because every day, he would spend time reaching out to the broken fan.

Thankfully, his efforts were not in vain. On the tenth day, he was happy to find that he felt something stirring between himself and the fan, even though the fan was clearly in a very distant location.

"So, I'm not too late!" Feeling excited, he used more divine sense and spent more time trying to get a reaction. As he did so, the capital of the second immortal domain grew closer and closer.

He saw towering mountains, and many flowing rivers. There were innumerable ferocious beasts, sects, and cities. It was almost like a raised veil, revealing all the details of the Eternal Immortal Domain.

The entire immortal region contained sixteen prefectures, with the Saint-Emperor Dynasty controlling eleven of them. The other five, those in the north, were sparsely populated, and separated from the others as if they had been exiled from them with sharp knives. The five men were occupied by the Emperor-Vile Dynasty, or disputed territory.

Five prefectures to the north, and eleven to the south!

Each prefecture had a different topography and terrain, but right now, Bai Xiaochun was not interested in seeing the scenery anymore. Although he seemed to be just in a hurry, almost all of his attention was focused on the broken fan. Finally, after repeated attempts, by the time he was only about three days away from the capital he finally made direct contact with the divine feeling slip he left behind in the fan!

As soon as that happened, it felt like his mind was struck by lightning. He stopped flying in the air and started to pant, suddenly, he had a vision.

He looked at the completely dark starry sky, and stretched out without end.

An enormous broken fan slowly floated in that starry sky, going in an unknown direction on a never-ending journey!

"My precious fan ..." he thought, his heart pounding at the sight of him. At this point, the vision began to ripple. Fearing that the fan would drift too far, he quickly added more power to his divine senses in hopes of stopping it from moving.

Unfortunately, he had overestimated his level of control. Initially, he assumed that after the trial with fire ended, the twenty percent control he gained would be enough to gain fan approval.

But now, that's definitely not the case. The fan was still ownerless, and Bai Xiaochun's control over it was minimal. In fact, his level of authority seems to have slumped by ten percent. And in a few months, he'll even lose it.

“This must be the spirit of the automaton from the fan! It took advantage of my absence to remove my brand! " More anxious than ever, he exerted more effort. As he did so, the fan that was previously floating smoothly suddenly started to vibrate and shine with flickering light.

Excitement flooded over him, however, before he could do anything else, a roar of anger filled his ears, the source of which was a spirit automaton from a broken fan!

Clearly, spirit spirits had awakened after their previous conflict, and were now doing their best to fight back. After succeeding, only ten percent of the fans Bai Xiaochun occupied would be taken from him.

Although his branding mark was indeed slowly erased, it did not eliminate his control of the fan!

"Damn it!" he grumbled furiously. Although great distances were involved, he used his divine sense to fight with spirit robots. Even though he knew he could not win such a fight, as long as his branding mark remained, he would not give up so easily!

When anger filled his mind, he found a comfortable place to sit cross-legged, where an indeterminate amount of time passed. It was the night when he finally opened his eyes, his robe was soaked with sweat.

His eyes were red and tired, and he was panting. But there in his hand was a glowing ball of light that gradually shrank into the shape of a command medallion.

The command medal was what he obtained after a round of conflict with the fan spirit robot, after being forced back to sleep.

“This spirit tomato must be tough. No wonder I am not yet qualified to become a fan owner!

"If it wasn't for that robot, I would definitely be able to bring the fan back. This time, all I got was this command medal. " He wasn't too happy about it, which was compounded by the fact that he didn't understand it. However, he felt that it was some kind of key ….

The key that represents his level of strength!

After a while had passed, he sighed and prepared to put away the command medal. However, it was at that moment that his expression flickered, and he looked down at the command medallion.

"The aura …."
