Bai Xiaochun stood there staring at Bai Qi calmly. For some reason, he was not angry at how he erased Bai Hao's name from the stone inscription, and perhaps, the stone inscription for spirit enhancement and soul medicine.

In the beam of light was a black-robed man who exploded with a murderous aura. An evil grin covered his face, and his eyes flickered with killing intent. Surrounding it were the vindictive soul clouds, and soul fluctuations that instantly identified him as a necromancer.

This was the same person that Bai Xiaochun had seen talking to Madame Cai at the pagoda when he first arrived at the clan.

"I've been waiting for you for a while now," Bai Xiaochun said loudly. "It's time you showed up."

When the black man saw Bai Xiaochun standing there as if he was waiting, he looked surprised. The truth was that he had waited all this time to get a chance at Bai Hao, but did not dare to move within the clan itself. Eventually, the enraged Madam Cai finally convinced her to do just that, and even guaranteed her safety. However, just as he was about to attack Bai Hao within the clan, to his surprise, he discovered that he had left.
