Chapter 1005: Second Chance

"The Death Codex is absolutely incredible!" When the Celestial saw how Bai Xiaochun was able to fight against someone much stronger than himself, and consistently regenerate in the midst of his injury, he was quite touched.

"Thank God, this isn't the first time I've met someone who has mastered the Codex of Death …." Back at Heavenspan Island, Celestial eyes suddenly flickered with a crystal light.

As he did so, Du Lingfei shivered. Even as he stood there, silent and numb like a walking dead man, crystal light suddenly shot out from the depths of his eyes, and two strange magical symbols were there.

There was a strange power within him that the Celestials seemed to be able to harness because of those magical symbols. Back outside Giant Ghost City, as his hands remained closed around Bai Xiaochun, a crystal light suddenly appeared.

In the blink of an eye ...the entire hand turned crystal, and then shattered even harder!

Rumbling sounds echoed as Bai Xiaochun, his hair wild and disheveled, summoned the world treasures from the north. Unfortunately, Friid Matriark was still sleeping, and did not respond. Worse, it seemed that due to the tremendous pressure weighing down on him, his regenerative power was wavering!

Whatever magical techniques were involved with this crystal seemed to be in complete contradiction to the Codex of Death!

Without his regenerative powers working out completely, Bai Xiaochun could not stand the Celestial's raw strength. A popping sound rang out, and he was crushed!

At that moment, he could not remain conscious, and fainted.

The Heavenly began to slowly pull his hand. On returning to the vortex ..everyone in the area looked on, completely shaken.

The gods and gods are both high-floored!

Everyone from the River Suppression Sect trembled, and many of them clenched their hands tightly into their hands. The sounds of fighting returned, accompanied by bitter laughter, roaring laughter, and the sound of self-blasting …. Blood once again began to stain the ground, and the number of deaths increased .. It seems like the end times have arrived; the sky is dark, and the ground is destroyed. It would not be long before Giant Ghost City fell, as well as the other three king cities. When that happens, the Wildlanders will be forced to retreat ... all the way to Arch-Emperor City!

Deep beneath the surface of Heavenspan Island is .. an enormous necropolis!

Some of his bones were golden in color, and some were like crystals .. and even though they were dead, all of them seemed to exude an atmosphere of holiness!

Around the liquid pool were three deep holes, each containing a skeleton!

Surprisingly, all of the skeletons were partly gold and partly crystal. Although none of them fused perfectly, the pressure they exuded was enough to make even the gods tremble. That pressure ... was very close to the Heavenly Daoist Heavenspan level.

Although none of them were as strong as him, they were all only about half a step away from being in the true Mahayana Realm!

If the powerful Great Emperor could see this place, he would instinctively recognize who the three corpses were.

It was ... the remains of the three most powerful Arch Emperors in the past!

Clearly, the Celestials had found their graves and dug up their skeletons, then used them to create the most formidable spell formation!

The decaying sacred bones have been collected over the years from people who have cultivated the Eternal Codex or the Forever Life Codex!

It was an extremely terrifying sight, aggravated by the flashing lights that illuminated the area.

Suddenly, Bai Xiaochun shivered, and then opened his eyes. Once he did, the magical symbols that had crawled all over his body flew back into the water, seemingly having been shocked.

At first, his expression was empty. However, as he breathed, his eyes began to sparkle. Then he looked around the pool of water, and the bones that formed the spell formation.

He wanted to get up, but soon discovered that he could not control his own body. It was impossible for him to leave the puddle. Apparently, the energy of the Eternal Codex and the Forever Life Codex in the surrounding bones created an aura that disturbed his mind.

At that moment, a hoarse voice filled the air. "Don't fight. This water pool was made from the blood of countless Arch Emperor descendants, back when I drove his dynasty out of the Heavenspan land. It has been fermenting here for years. ” Bai Xiaochun then saw the air in front of the ripple, and Celestial walked slowly into the open.

Heavenly Eyes burned with excitement and anticipation as he looked at Bai Xiaochun, as if he was some very important medicine to consume.
