A Will Eternal – Chapter 1041

Chapter 1041: Another Meeting With Ghostmother!

After confirming that the Giant Ghost King was unharmed, Bai Xiaochun got up and prepared to say his regards. But before any greeting left his mouth, he suddenly disappeared!

As for the Giant Ghost King, he felt very proud about how smoothly everything went, and was especially pleased with how he had killed the teacher from Crosspeak Prefecture without anyone noticing. "Xiaochun, this is–"

Before he could finish speaking, Bai Xiaochun appeared right next to him and slashed down with his hand. The Giant Ghost King immediately shot forward with a burst of speed, performing a two-handed spell motion that summoned a black mouth of smoke that shot into the air behind him.

Even as rumbling sounds echoed, the Giant Ghost King spun around on the spot to find a child-sized little ghost behind him that had just been cut into two pieces.

The green-skinned ghost screamed in pain, and then the two parts of its body faded to zero.

At that moment, an unsightly expression appeared on the face of the Giant Ghost King.

"Damn it! That half-god of Crosspeak Prefecture secretly hit me with ghost magic! "

"No." Bai Xiaochun said, his expression grim. "It's not half the god of Crosspeak Prefecture!" The Giant Ghost King followed his gaze to a point in the distance, where his expression flickered. Approaching quickly was a huge storm made from innumerable evil ghosts, a raging storm with an extremely destructive power.

Above the ghost storm was a huge bone lizard that seemed to fill half the sky. It was cruel and ruthless, and on top of his head was an emblem that looked like a galleon !!

Two flags flew over the bone galleon, where a ferocious ghostly face could be seen. Their aura combined with the aura of galleons and lizards created ghost qi that filled all of heaven and earth!

The seven gods stood on the deck of the bone galleon, all of them looking with cold yet excited eyes at Bai Xiaochun and the Giant Ghost King!

However, what had caught Bai Xiaochun's attention was not the gods, but rather someone else standing on the deck. It was a beautiful young lady who looked like a paragon entity within heaven and earth!

She has an attractive figure, white skin, and delicate features. His phoenix-like eyes shone with an incredible brightness, making him seem like an amazing type of person that no one dared to offend.

She was wearing an ornate orange court dress that made her look extremely dazzling. His long, slender fingers and milk arms make him very alluring to anyone who can see him. As the bone lizard shot through the air, her orange gown fluttered in the wind, especially the broad sleeves of purple-colored clothes.

Her dress was embroidered with something that looked like a black city below, featuring a huge gate, from which flowed endless streams of howling evil ghosts.

"Ghostmother !!" The Giant Ghost King said with a gasp. Although he had never seen a true Ghostmother, he had seen Gongsun Wan’er, and recalled how ghostly and sinister this young lady was, and the familiar aura, she had been, it only took a moment for him to guess who he was.

He is nothing but a Ghostmother!

"Impossible! How could he detect our actions so quickly!?!? Did he happen to be in that area ?! ” Giant Ghost King has already started to turn into panic. After all, his previous encounter with Gongsun Wan’er in the Wildlands had left a deep impression on him.

"He knew a while ago that we were hiding here." After all, he and the Giant Ghost King were strangers in the Eternal Land, and even though they were extremely careful, it was no wonder that one could track them down.

"If he knows, then why are the gods in the local prefecture not waiting for us to—" the Giant Ghost King was extremely intelligent, and a great planner. Therefore, before he even finished voicing his question, he came up with his answer, and it caused an unsightly expression to appear on his face.

"He knows more about the Heavenspan Realm than anyone in the Emperor-Vile Dynasty," Bai Xiaochun said. "It's natural for him to be a little greedy because of that."

It was not difficult to guess the Ghostmother plan. He was confident that he could handle Bai Xiaochun and the Giant Ghost King, and hoped to capture and consume them.

It caused Bai Xiaochun's heart to sink, and nervousness pierced in the back of his mind. But it was an inevitable fight, and he had one advantage: he could choose the battlefield.

Eyes blinked, he retreated quickly, joining the Giant Ghost King. Both of them felt their war spirit rising, and clearly, both of them were thinking the same thing. The battle will be the best fight ... not in the third immortal region, but in the Eternal Sea!

Moreover, they would fight and flee at the same time. That would be the best way to prevent reinforcements from coming, and would increase their chances of avoiding defeat.

Even when Bai Xiaochun and the Giant Ghost King escaped, the Ghostmother's eyes lit up with a bright light, and she waved her finger.

In response, seven demigod experts flew from the deck of the bone galleon, becoming rays of bright light that shot forward at incredible speed. They were like sharp swords that could cut through all obstacles as they headed straight for Bai Xiaochun and the Giant Ghost King!

"Bai Xiaochun …." Ghostmother said, her eyes radiating determination. Despite having taken Hou Xiaomei as an apprentice, and also having dealt with Bai Xiaochun, as soon as he was assigned to oversee the third immortal domain last month, he had made a decision.

He was the only person from the Vile-Emperor Dynasty who had ever entered the Heavenspan Realm, and then returned alive. Because of that, and the fact that he was in the early Heavenly Realm, Emperor-Vile appreciated him greatly. In fact, that was why he tasked him with the task of supervising the hunt for Heavenspan cultivators!

Although he had just arrived at the third immortal domain recently, it was because, for the better part of a year, he had been in the first and second immortal domain. Due to his familiarity with the aura of a Heavenspan cultivator, he had developed techniques to hunt those that only he could use.

And the entire time, he was trying to find Bai Xiaochun!

His experience in the Heavenspan Realm, as well as his cooperation with the gravekeeper, ensured that he knew everything about Bai Xiaochun!

All of that led him to the conclusion that Bai Xiaochun ... was rare among the scarcities!

In the end, even Emperor-Vile could not possibly know as much about Bai Xiaochun as a Ghostmother.

Hence, whether it was the secret of spirit enhancement that had been extracted from the blood of the Heavenspan cultivators, or the authority given to him by Emperor-Vile, he had decided to focus most of his search efforts on finding Bai Xiaochun.

When he finally confirmed the whereabouts of his general a few days ago, he refrained from mobilizing the power of the prefecture he had suddenly taken over from the Celestial Virus. Instead, he headed towards her with his own personal subordinates, in hopes of catching her secretly.

How could he guess that, in a few days it would take him to contact her, Bai Xiaochun would do something so daring !?

The death of a demigod was no trivial matter. As a celestial, the Ghostmother could theoretically sweep the matter under the rug, but it wasn't easy. But then there was the issue of medicinal plant farming in the capital of Cloudsea Prefecture. The dramatic theft of those resources was something that affected the prefecture as a whole. Therefore, the matter instantly turned into a huge headache.

Most important of all is the fact that ... tributes to Evil Emperors have been stolen. Nothing like that had ever happened before, and there was no way the Ghostmother could hide the news. He knew that, at this point, consuming Bai Xiaochun was not an option. He originally had the initiative, but now had lost it, and because of that, it filled his heart with overwhelming anger!
