Chapter 1309: Seeing God

All celestial beings dream of leaving the world they came from and stepping out into the starry sky. After all, they were convinced that the only way to become more than celestial was to find a way in a place far from heaven that they knew.

"Don't tell me this horrible place is another world?" He looked around, laughing. Over the past two cycles of sixty years, his soul impulse had become extremely irritating to him. As soon as Sima Nan saw the statue, she shivered, and her mind began to spin.

"The statue ... the statue …." His soul shivered like a child when he saw his father. Unable to control himself, Sima Nan flew up to the statue and descended to prostrate.

To his surprise, he recognized this statue. It was very similar to the statues he had seen among his own people, and even to those in other worlds he had visited.
