A Will Eternal – Chapter 1218
Chapter 1218: A Child Born!
The moonlight entered through the door of her room that opened to Bai Xiaochun as she stood there in a daze for a very long time. Finally, he sighed, his life seemed to be meaningless.
"If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't disappoint so many women …." Depressed, he couldn't help but think that having a wife was definitely the best thing. Two is very annoying, and three or more .. too horrible to think about.
"Xiaomei used to be great, but now she was misled by the other two." She originally wanted to focus on meditation, but now could not focus. Finally the sun started to rise. At that moment, she looked down at her bag held and thought of the collection of love letters that used to be her pride and joy, which she had so often taken out of her bag for dramatic effect, evoke the envious impression of the audience.
But now his love letter is gone. Feeling miserable, he flew to Gongsun Wan’er's secluded meditation facility. He could sense that he was inside practicing cultivation, and he was tempted to just walk in. But he knew that he was at a tipping point, and that he should not bother him.
After a while, he sent his divine sense out to Arch-Emperor City, hoping to find someone to talk to. He looked at Big Fatty Zhang, who was meditating. He looked at Xu Baocai, who was in the middle of bragging dramatically to a group of friends. And he looked at the Diviner-God Master, relaxing amidst a group of concubines ….
He looked at the Patriarch Spirit Stream, dejectedly looking at the command medallion of the dead disciple. He looked at Li Qinghou from a distance, holding a handkerchief in his hand.
He even looked at Shangguan Tianyou, who used to be extremely spectacular, but who was now quiet and reserved. He still looked like a drawn sword, but now he sat alone, quietly drinking and muttering about Zhou Xinqi.
When he looked out at all the familiar faces, his expression suddenly flickered as he realized there were two auras in the somewhat familiar city, but he had never met for a long time.
"Both .." he muttered. With that, he disappeared, to reappear outside a mansion somewhere in the city. It was a two-story building, with fragrant osmanthus trees in the courtyard. As he stood under the tree, he stared at one of the windows in the building, which was illuminated by the light of a lamp, framing the silhouette of a graceful woman.
Perhaps she felt something had changed outside, as the window slowly opened, and a beautiful face appeared.
When he looked down at the osmanthus tree and saw Bai Xiaochun, his eyes widened, and mixed emotions appeared on his face. Instead of clasping her hands to give her a greeting, she simply looked at him.
"Chen Manyao ..." he said softly. Suddenly, he realized that he had not noticed who had arrived in the new Arch-Emperor Dynasty. For one thing, she was very busy with worries about the balance of power with Evil Emperors and Saint-Emperors, and for another, she was very focused on her unborn children.
He was not sure when Chen Manyao had come, and if not for his frustrated and restless atmosphere, he would not have sent his divine sense to examine everyone.
Presumably the Grand Heavenmaster knew that Chen Manyao was here. After all, he was his student. And the fact that she didn't say anything to him was very telling.
The Grand Heavenmaster had lived for many years, and had more life experiences than Bai Xiaochun. Clearly, he did not want Chen Manyao to cause trouble in the imperial harem …. [1]
When Chen Manyao heard him mention his name, she lowered her head. A somewhat blank look could be seen in his eyes as he recalled past events, but after a while, he sighed, and bowed respectfully to her.
"Greetings from simple commoners, Arch-Emperor !!"
His form of greeting instantly caused the gap between them to widen.
The two of them stood there quietly for a while before he quietly closed the window and turned off the lights, throwing his room into a silent darkness.
Bai Xiaochun stood there under the osmanthus tree for a while, unsure of what he was feeling. Finally, he sighed and disappeared, reappearing outside the official residence of the Advent Spirit King.
Many years ago, he was like an explosive dragon, and after being completely infatuated with him, chased after him nonstop. Although she was still beautiful, she now looked older than before. He was unaware of his arrival, and he did not speak to him. He simply watched her for the time it took for the incense to burn, then left.
Suddenly, there was one person in particular whom he realized that he missed a lot.
"Du Lingfei ..." he muttered. He left Arch-Emperor City, to fly in a short tour of the immortal domain of the Arch-Emperor Dynasty. However, no matter how he searched with divine sense, he was unable to find any clues about Du Lingfei's whereabouts.
It was not the first time he had looked for her; he had searched on many occasions. The Eternal Immortal Domains were vast, but no amount of quests had led him to a single clue.
According to what Daoist Heavenspan had said, he had also searched for it, but to no avail.
The night passed quickly.
Finally, the sun began to emit its rays onto the ground. As Bai Xiaochun floated there some distance away from Arch-Emperor City, he looked around at the world, and realized that he had once again grown a little.
As the dark night slowly expelled, the world seemed calm and peaceful. Bai Xiaochun sighed, his breath turning into a cloud of steam.
"I just wish everyone could be happy, forever and ever …." He was the only one who could hear her muttering words. Unfortunately, he knew that the peace and quiet of the moment was only temporary. Inevitably, something unexpected would happen, and the calm would be shattered.
It can all happen very quickly. If Vile-Emperor or Saint-Emperor made a move on him, they would soon realize that he did not possess the Archaean Luminescence.
And if that happens, then the only thing that awaits him is the darkness of the night. And the Arch-Emperor Dynasty will go with him!
“I must be a real archaean! Only then will I truly be qualified to compete with the other imperial dynasties! " Slowly, his heart began to grow calm. He knew that wasting time complaining about the situation would be useless. And there's only one thing he can do. "Practice cultivation!"
Looking up, he disappeared, to reappear in his personal meditation room in the imperial palace. By sitting cross-legged, he closed his eyes and immersed himself in cultivation.
He had reached a stage where he could not just practice ordinary breathing techniques to advance his cultivation. That was especially true considering his Time Immemorial Codex had yet to be completed.
Unfortunately, the Daoist magic that came with the third level codex, which he called Future Will, continued regardless of his grasp.
Not even using his sovereign aura had helped; he had lost some form of enlightenment. But now, his thoughts and emotions were calm, and as he worked, Future Will began to slowly take shape. It was almost like an augury, however, it was not.
As his spiritual power flowed through his energy passageways, Future Will began to grow clearer, and he felt freer and clearer than before. He even began to form a strange resonance with the world around him.
He was not sure how long time had passed. Maybe days. Maybe months. He lost track of the flow of time. Unfortunately, he was caught in an endless cycle of death, and he could not complete the final step to create Future Will.
But then, one morning dawn ..he heard the sound of a baby crying. It broke his concentration as it echoed through the imperial palace, causing him to shiver. Despite the fact that he was immersed in cultivation, he could not miss the fact that a new life had come to the world, a life connected to his own blood !!
At that very instant, the cycle died which trapped him. The birth of her child seemed to represent a boundless future, causing her heart to shiver and her mind to spin…. At that moment, everything clicked!
The final level of the Time Immemorial Codex, Will Will, was a success!
To be more clear, the "harem" referred to here is a word that refers to the formal residence within the imperial palace of a Chinese emperor, specifically set aside for his spouse.
