The Strongest Man in the Universe

The Strongest Man in the Universe
Chapter 80

David, Ken, and Ken's family are back.

Boris and his three friends, Eric, who are unconscious on the floor, and dozens of Eric's men kneeling on the floor are the only ones left in Private Room 36 at the Holiday Inn.

“What do you think?” Boris asked his friends.

“I didn't feel anything at first, but as she stood up, I felt as if there was a mountain in front of me. I feel a very strong prestige!”

“I too. At that moment just now, I could feel a cold breeze. This young master does not seem like an ordinary person.”

“No mediocre SCC core members. Guys, stop guessing. Let's clean up this mess.”

“Boris, if you can really lick with this great dish, don't forget us!”

“Do not worry. If I succeed, I will definitely not forget you guys.” replied Boris.

Judging by the pressure David was exerting just now, it was possible that David did not want to dirty his hand on someone like Eric, and that was why he called Boris to help.

The next day, David wakes up, eats breakfast, and returns to River City. Tara wanted to rest at home for one more day before she returned, so she returned alone.

No beauty tried to give herself to him yesterday. Other than some of Tara's relatives who praised David and only left at midnight, nothing else happened.

Time passed slowly. Three days later, David finally receives a call from Pearl. He said that he paid attention to certain projects and according to the survey of the team he formed, it was worth investing in. However, the other party requested a very high amount, so he wanted to ask David for his opinion.

David did not say anything and immediately sent some money. What does he think about this?

He desperately wanted the other party to ask for a higher price. He felt that he did not have many places where he could spend money. The money he usually spent would not increase his luxury points. He only used 200 million to buy two houses for Aunt Diana and Aunt Sally. He didn't even pay the other 100 million!

Now, he was not interested in a fancy point or two. If he wanted the luxury points to increase faster, he could only invest heavily. However, he could not invest randomly. If he did not follow the rules and did whatever he wanted, he might attract the attention of someone with bad intentions.

He felt that he did not have the strength to protect the assets he currently had, so he had to keep a very low profile for now. If they wanted to talk about power, he had just started and was still establishing himself. He's miles away from T-man Stan Warner of the T-Faction and Clinton Zimmerman. Even if he were to compete with Zachary and Charles, he would not be their rival.

If they want to talk about ability, Paul tells him that he is only the most powerful among the youngsters he sees, so that meant there were still many older people who could defeat him. Therefore, he wanted to work on developing some sort of power that belonged to him exclusively.

He dreamed that one day, he would hold a large stake in 800 of the top 1,000 companies in the world. When that happened, the world economy would shake as he waved his hand. How cool is that?

How arrogant!

As for why he chose Pearl to take over this very important task, one of them was because he was originally poor and there was no one around him with this ability. After looking through everyone she interacted with, Pearl was the person she trusted the most.

He has the ability and he has the advantage! The other reason was that the Pearl family had come to look for her before, and from that incident, she understood Pearl better. He was truly a person who remembered his gratitude and would try to repay him.

Even if her parents were so hard on her since she was a child, she still thought of them after she started making her own money. Apart from his general living expenses, he barely saved up a dime afterwards.

So, the thing he was interested in was Pearl's character. For someone like Pearl, David could guarantee that once he finished getting angry, he would continue to help his family. How he's going to do it is up to him.

When he first got his hands on the system, he began to make the decision that he would never reveal his full strength before he thought he could fully protect himself.

Being humble would be the best option in this regard. It will be his magic weapon. All he had to do now was try to save the luxury points and see if his system could be upgraded.

Maximum physical and mental strength was clearly not enough. After funding Pearl for 2 billion, the luxury points did not immediately increase, 20 points were only added the next day, bringing the total to 101.

It also verified David's thoughts. Luxury points will only increase if the money in a super luxurious system is spent. It wouldn't add up if it was a donation or if he transferred money like in this case with Pearl. Otherwise, wouldn't it be better for David to directly transfer 1 trillion to his company's account?

The system is also very simple. The goal is to let David spend money and then raise luxury points to improve himself.

On this side, David set up a security department and asked Paul to contact some of the mercenaries he had met abroad before. Whether it was domestic or foreign, as long as they were willing to come, they would receive the best treatment, but the premise was that their character had to pass the examination.

For example, David would never accept a vile person who was forced to flee abroad to become a mercenary.

David also asks Wayne and Gordon to help Paul build and run the security department. After all, with his current strength, there would not be too many people who could threaten him. If he himself cannot beat them, then Wayne and Gordon will be useless as well.

David didn't go to class because he's been busy for the last few days. Therefore, his teacher called him and told him to go back to class. David's upset. Didn't the teacher say that he could ask for leave at will after taking the stage for the Labor Day talent show?

Eventually, he learns that someone is approaching the head of the university and says that David often skips class and he doesn't behave like a student at all. It apparently affected the reputation of famous schools like South River University. The ends were reprimanded by the university leadership.

After receiving a call from the lecturer, David headed straight to the rector's office.

Tok!

David knocked on the door twice.

“Log in!” a voice came from the door.

David pushed the door open and entered. Chancellor Oliver Carson was sitting in his chair flipping through documents on the table.

After David entered, Oliver looked at David and said, “Halo, what's up?”

“Halo, Mr. Carson, I'm David Lidell, the third-year student from the business management department.” David said as he sat in the chair across from Oliver.

“Ya, okay. Then?” Oliver asked.

He knew David was different from the other students. Normally, those students would be frightened when they saw it.

On the other hand, David was too calm, which made Oliver feel that he was a little different.
