As expected of their boss, Mr. Lidell had managed to complete everything in just a day. The employees know that they have a bright future waiting for them because they work under such a boss.

Not long after David ended the call with Pearl, another call came in. David did not recognize this unknown number.

"Hello? Who's this?” ask David.

"David! I've wiped out the Daniels as you requested. What do you think of that?” Clinton's voice was heard from the other end of the phone.

“Clinton! It's amazing, it's really amazing! Nice doing business with you, Clinton. Don't worry, I won't forget what I promised you. If there is anything I need help with, please contact me.” replied David.

"You're an easy person to negotiate with, David. If that's the case, then I won't bother you anymore. Find me if there's anything and you need help in Springfield.” Clinton said.

What Clinton needs most is a promise from David. After ending the call with Clinton, David lay in bed lost in thought.

After this incident with Daniel's family, David truly understood the importance of one's strength.

The Daniels brothers were far from weak, they happened to meet Zimmerman, who was even stronger. The Zimmerman Family was so powerful that they had no chance to fight back at all. They do not even belong to the same higher level of SCC.

Morris may have been a longtime core member, but Clinton was one of the founders of the SCC. Under the incentive of future benefits, the founder decided to get rid of the core members. The other founders were supposed to be Morris supporters and stopped Clinton as if they had remained ignorant throughout the incident. This means a definite agreement has been reached between the two founders. Or they have traded some sort of profit.

David also knew that Clinton would not help him at all if he did not show such great strength.It was also because Clinton needed the power David offered to help her get rid of the Daniels family. Everything happened because of strength, so he had to keep improving himself. This is the most important thing.

On the other side. Pearl and Rhonda live in an upscale apartment. With a body that could make any man nosebleed, Rhonda lay on the bed while talking on the phone. A moment later he put down the phone in confusion. He just learned of the fate of The Daniels. He realized that he had underestimated Pearl's superior.

In just a day, the Daniels brothers are paralyzed, Old Master Daniels is dead, and the Daniels' family has been removed. The most unbelievable part of it all is that Clinton, the founder of the SCC, was the man behind it all.

He wonders how David managed to persuade Clinton to help get rid of the core members in his own organization. Furthermore, Morris was Silva's henchman, and he could not understand why Silva had not interfered.

Rhonda has too many questions about what happened. It was too illogical, yet it did not stop him from becoming the truth. He had to find time to ask Pearl for an answer. He wanted to know what happened when they went to see Gunther yesterday and who David Lidell was.

The death of Daniel's family was a minor incident in the international metropolis of Springfield. Coupled with the deliberate blockade on gossip by the Zimmerman family, only a select few know the truth about what happened.

The East League International team continues its normal operations, doing its best to help David spend money by investigating and negotiating. David lost all sleepiness after he was awakened by the call, so he went straight to the East League International temporary office.

He's going to meet the owner of this office building this afternoon and try to buy this building before he goes to the capital. After what happened to the Daniels, there should be no more blind fools trying to interfere with the East League International.

David plans to visit Clinton again before she leaves and asks the man to help her keep an eye on the troublemaker because the latter incident needs her help.

He might as well make the best of this arrangement. However, almost everyone was out of the office when he arrived. There are only a few women in the finance department who work in the office. David's arrival caught the attention of these women. They greatly admired such a superior because he was handsome, wealthy, from a strong background, but not arrogant about it.

The man only takes a day to solve the long-term problems the company faces. He was too perfect, and because of that, he became the man of their dreams.

“Halo, Mr Lidell!”

“Halo, Mr Lidell!”

The women immediately stopped working and greeted David when they saw him coming in. They all wanted to leave a good impression on this handsome young boss.

“Halo! Thanks for the hard work! Where are others?” David asked, looking around at the empty office.

“Oh, Mr. Lidell, they're all out to meet clients. Due to a problem with Prosperity Properties a few days ago, most of our projects were put on hold. Now that Prosperity Properties is no longer standing in our way, all of our projects have resumed so everyone will be rather busy these days."

"alright. Thank you for your efforts. Have Miss Pearl take you out on a paid vacation after this wave of work is over. Go wherever you want, it will all be covered by the company!” david said with passion.

“Oh, correct. Is Miss Pearl out too?” ask David.

“I think Miss Warner contacted another company looking for investors and went to investigate the company this morning!”

“Good. Don't let me bother you, I'm just here to look around."

Then David walked into the general manager's office. Since this was only a temporary office location, there was no chairman's office for David. He sat down at the office desk and flipped through some documents. Uninterested, he pulled out his phone and started playing it.

High school class group chats seem rather lively these days. Someone seemed to have marked it. David tapped on the group chat to read the message. In an instant, he finished reading hundreds of messages.

He's feeling a little sad. Apparently, there was a classmate in her High School class who lived quite close to Sarah. Then, about two to three days ago, Sarah's parents took her home.

There were rumors that it was because she was depressed and tried to commit suicide once at school. Fortunately, her boyfriend found her in time. Afterwards, the school contacted her parents to pick her up.

After she was brought home, Sarah did as she was told but she never spoke, as if she was already mute. He did not say a word even after returning home for a few days.

Her parents panicked. They went to school and asked for an explanation. Sarah was fine before, so they wanted to know what caused the sudden change.

A classmate who lives close to Sarah has heard about what happened from her family. So now he asked the class group chat if anyone knew the full story. Naturally, the group chat ended up discussing the matter excitedly.

In the end, they learn that David and Sarah had studied at the same school and were a couple during high school. This resulted in many people tagging David and asking if he knew what was going on with Sarah.

Many classmates even joked that David had dumped Sarah because she found someone else at university and this is why Sarah was depressed.

Then some classmates who were rather close to Sarah immediately called David a playboy. Of course, there were also some classmates who defended David and said that there was no way David would have dumped Sarah given how much he liked her back then.

They believe there's more to it than meets the eye in this matter. David's lack of response means that the conversation then deviates from Sarah's depression problem to a meeting during the summer break.

Classes haven't arranged reunions since they graduated, and everyone is already about to graduate from university by now. This advice certainly got majority support, so everyone started discussing when to meet. David thought about it and decided that he did have to explain himself before everyone thought of him as a playboy. Although this matter did not affect him too much, he did not like to be blamed for something he did not do.

David: Sarah and I actually broke up a long time ago. He dumped me, not the other way around. Because he fell in love with a man from a rich family. But I heard that the man's family went bankrupt recently, so that's basically what happened. You can ask around SRU if you don't believe me. The news should have spread quite widely by now.

People immediately started discussing the matter after David sent a message.

"So, in other words, it was Sarah who had made a mistake? He dumped Dave for the sake of a rich guy's girlfriend, and couldn't accept the surprise when this rich girlfriend's family went bankrupt?”

“I think so. I believe Dave's words. I know that, there's no way Dave's gonna dump Sarah! She loved it in high school!”

“I think Dave is a playboy, but it turns out Sarah is a playgirl? Huh, the situation is very sad."

"So what if he's pathetic? He had no one to blame but himself! Dave was so good to her in high school, so many of us girls were jealous of her for having such a good boyfriend. I can't believe he dumped Dave for a rich man! He must be sorry!”

Then David texted again, “Alright, guys! Don't talk about this anymore, everyone has the right to choose whatever works best for them. I don't regret anything."

"That's enough for me because David has spoken. Everyone better stop talking about that matter as well."

As David said, everyone has the right to choose whatever benefits them the most. But once a person has made a choice, then that person must also bear all the consequences.

Everyone started discussing the reunion again and immediately asked David if he would attend. David agrees and tells them to only send him an address once it is decided.

This surprised everyone because from what they remembered about David, the man would always spend all his free time working part-time. They had been out for many meetings before and he had not attended any of them, even for graduation. Therefore, they only asked him respectfully and were surprised when he agreed this time.
