The Strongest Man in the Universe

The Strongest Man in the Universe
Chapter 62

David leaves with Jacey sitting very excitedly in the passenger seat beside him. Aunt Sally, Uncle Yousef, and Lily sat in the back seat.

There is a reason why this luxury car is valued at three million. If it was another car, Sally might feel very uncomfortable because of her sprained back. However, the G-Wagon did not jostle at all as it drove smoothly and comfortably on the road.

On the way to the hospital, David called Charles and asked him to speak with River City Hospital to prepare for their arrival. David and the others arrived at River City Hospital at two p.m.

The director of River City Hospital, Tom Lake, had already waited for a while when they arrived. Mr. Luther had told about David, so he did not dare to keep David waiting.

"Mr Lidell, we meet again!”

Director Tom immediately went to greet David when he saw David get off the car.

“I have to trouble you again, Doctor Lake.” said David politely.

“You're too polite, Mr. Lidell! That's our job.”

The two shared a polite conversation as they brought Aunt Sally over for an expert consultation.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Aunt Sally had surgery. While Aunt Sally was in surgery, David went to check on Paul and told the man to focus on recovery before doing anything else.

It was almost five when the operation ended. The hospital originally planned to put Aunt Sally into the best hospital room there was, but Aunt Sally did not want to stay in the hospital. David had no choice but to pick her up to the South River International Residence.

‘Amelia should be home by now, right? It would be a big misunderstanding if he was still there.’

Fortunately, Amelia had left by the time they arrived at the South River International Residence. David breathed a sigh of relief.

He called again to the Golden Leaf Hotel and asked them to send food to the South River International Residence as Aunt Sally was still injured and should not move too much.

Golden Leaf Hotel is an eight-star hotel that does not make deliveries, but as this is the chairman's request, the hotel has no choice but to deliver them if they do not want to be fired.

Aunt Sally and her family were shocked when they entered the South River International Residence.

They did not understand how third-year students like David could afford such expensive housing. They could not imagine how much this kind of housing would cost in River City. They didn't know if it was a few million, or ten times that price. They never dared to imagine that one day they would live in such a luxurious house.

Jacey jumped in excitement. He treats David's house like his own, considering he has shared a room with David for two years. He had just jumped into the pool upstairs and started bathing there.

“Aunt Sally, Uncle Yousef, you guys can rest and recuperate here. Make yourself at home" David told Aunt Sally and Uncle Yousef.

“Dave, is this your home?” ask Aunt Sally.

“Ehmm.” David muttered while nodding his head.

“Tell the truth, where did you get so much money?”

“I got it from a business I started with my classmates.” replied David.

“Bulkah?”

“You must trust me, Aunt Sally! I really didn't do anything illegal." David replied in despair.

“But..” Aunt Sally still wants to insist but Uncle Yousef cut her off.

“Stop, Dave is not a kid anymore. He's an adult, he can make his own decisions. I believe in Dave." Yousef Sela.

Sally did not ask again after hearing her husband's words.

“Aunt Sally, Uncle Yousef, since you guys already know about my situation, I hope you guys agree to move to River City. Jace can also get a better education here.”

Aunt Sally looked at each other with Uncle Yousef. Sounds like a good idea. Jacey is usually seen with some dubious friends in Shu City. No one could control the child, nor did he show any desire to learn well.

The fact that he got into high school was thanks to Yousef going around and treating some people to dinner. Now, not only did he owe these people a debt of gratitude, but he also spent quite a lot of money.

If they moved to River City, the new neighborhood might encourage Jacey to direct her energy to succeed in her studies. Not to mention that the education in the city would definitely be much better than what Shu City could provide. They were now most worried about their youngest son.

“Dave, I know you're a success now, but we've been living in Shu City for decades. Your uncle's job is in Shu City, we don't know what to do here.”

“Bu, Dad, just follow Dave's plan! Jace would be a delinquent if he kept letting himself hang out with those people at home. If not for yourself, at least think of Jace!” Lily assured.

“I...Let's think more about this!" Aunt Sally replied after a while.

“Alright then. I hope that you guys will agree. You've done so much for me, and it's time I avenge you. Plus, I own a hotel but there is no one I trust to take care of it. I hope you guys can help me manage it.”

“You open a hotel?”

“Yes. I had hired someone outside to help me manage it because I had to go to college and had no free time. So, I thought you guys could come and help me manage it, lest someone decide to mess up the account.”

David didn't care if the hotel made a profit or not. In fact, he expected the hotel to be a loss, as it would give him more points. He only offered hotel management for Aunt Sally and Uncle Yousef to move to the city. He also wanted to persuade Aunt Diana and her family to move here as well.

David was never stingy with people who were nice to him. Nor would he be lenient to those who treated him badly. Like Uncle Bobby, for example.

He doesn't care about two million. If he was honest, David still wouldn't care if it was twenty billion dollars. He just doesn't want Bobby's family to live lavishly with his parents' hard-earned money.

So, he would get that money back no matter what.

David's phone rang.

Food delivery from Golden Leaf Hotel has arrived. David called the property staff and asked them to let the introduction in.

The motto of the property staff when it comes to wealthy occupants like David is to fulfill all requests and do everything they can to not offend these occupants, so the doorbell rings soon after.

David went to open the door.

About a dozen capable servants entered the house with a plate of food in their hands. Both Sally and Yousef were stunned by the sight. They were too shocked by everything that happened today.

They wonder if this is the way of life for all rich people.

The table was filled with delicious food with an aromatic aroma that was pleasant to look at and smell.

David climbs upstairs to call Jacey for dinner only to discover that Jacey is playing happily in the pool.

“Dave! Can I stop by often and use your pool?” jacey asked as she got down.

“If you can persuade your parents to move to River City, I will let you stay at my house.” replied David with a smile.

“Bulkah?” jacey.

“When did I ever lie to you?”

“Good! I will definitely persuade them! Then I can swim here every day!”

Aunt Sally and her family enjoyed the meal. That was delicious. They had never eaten anything so delicious in their entire lives.

“Aunt Sally! This is food from my hotel. If you can help me take care of it, I promise you that you will eat food like this every day!” David teases.

“Mother! Let's move here then! I want to study here!” Jacey spoke up too.

He didn't want to come back anymore, not when he could eat good food and swim all day in River City. Sally and Yousef shared their views.

“Good! We'll move here.”

“Good! Then I'll call the school for Jace tomorrow.”

“Dave! Can't we wait a few days?” ask Jacey.

“NO!”

Sally, Yousef, and Lily answered simultaneously.
